Machine works fine when charged, cleans as expected. Good price, BUT the charging port is horrible! Had to buy a new one. Such a waste over a small issue.
Length of Use: 6–12 months
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Summary
Clean Zone uses ozone to disinfect your CPAP machine, saving you the time and labor it would take to wash your machine by hand.

I emailed to return one of two of the machines I purchased due to my CPAP breaking. No response by email so I called TopDog Direct to return one machine. The rep was short with me and rude. I had to drag it out of her how to go about returning the device. How hard would it be to explain the process and give the address? I explained that she might want to consider a different line of work since customer service is clearly not her forte'. She said "thank you for the compliment" and we parted ways. The device itself works fine but you have to wonder about a company that tolerates poor customer service.

Bought this at Bed Bath & Beyond. Got a good price. Can't attest to if it is killing germs or not. What it is doing is leaving a very foul odor embedded in the hose, head gear, and nasal pillow. Even after not using the cleaner and running my CPAP all night for several nights, the odor concentrates and is very strong when I go to turn the CPAP machine on at night. I literally have to let the hose, mask, and pillow vent for a minute before I can put it on my face for the night. This is not good.
I am a real buyer.

It takes 1-1/2 hours to complete the cleaning cycle not just a 1/2 hour as advertised. It's true that the machine's cycle takes 30 minutes, but you must also leave everything in the tightly sealed plastic cleaning zip bag for another hour to allow the ozone to revert to ordinary oxygen. According to the Clean Zone operating instructions, elevated concentration of Ozone is HARMFUL to your health. The instructions state that the Clean Zone does not remove skin oils or mucus from the mask, so it must be cleaned manually.

I ordered my cleaner during the shutdown in March 2020. I was very happy with it for a little while, but about two months later, I noticed that it wasn't keeping the charge so I recharged it. Now it is not working at all. It won't charge and it won't turn on. I am very disappointed and would really like a replacement.

I placed an order for a cleaner bag in December. Received an email with a delay notification. Then the order was canceled by CZ. Called and received no explanation for the cancellation. So, I reordered. Never received the order. Then received another cancellation email. After several attempts to reach a customer service telephone number, I spoke with a representative who said they no longer ship this bag to customers. The product works well, but I don’t recommend Clean Zone based on the lack of customer support.

Pros and Cons
It works well, except the charging cord.

Ordered cleaner on 12/17/19. Upon receipt decided that it was too small for my CPAP. I returned the product and they received it on 1/15//2020. After several emails, I was told credit would be issued on 2/11/2020. Still waiting for credit. Every time I request information, I get a return email that they will contact me within 48 hours. Not a very reputable company.

On 2/24 I received a shipping order number for my replacement unit and an email explaining that the Covid19 outbreak has delayed replenishing the vendor's inventory. I appreciate that information.

They are crooks and liars. Returned the CPAP cleaner and was told once they received the machine back that it takes 5 business days for a refund. I have been waiting for over two months and have called numerous times. I am filing a formal complaint with the Consumer Affairs Division in Washington, D.C. along with the state of Wisconsin and Indiana. BEWARE - CROOKS AND LIARS!

This machine seemed to be a good investment at first. After a few weeks, I started hurting in my chest and back. After ruling other diagnoses out, I took antibiotics for a lung infection. My pain got better. After finishing the antibiotic, I also stopped using the Clean Zone 2 and the pain went away completely.

I have had this machine for a couple of months now. Every time I use it I get a dusty substance all over the CPAP Machine and my nightstand! When I use my mask it has a weird smell to it. I figured everything would clear up but it did not, so I stopped using it! Waste of money!
