No longer non stick

By Debbie Sheehan, San Carlos, CA, Verified Reviewer

I loved my Copper Chef Pans when I first got them, however, after each use the non-stick worked less and less. I now have to soak before cleaning most of the time. I use them for home use only and have followed all the instructions.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

XL fry pan

By Mike Guenther, Pine Island, MN, Verified Reviewer

I bought 2 sets of the XL pan set (round and square), one set for my daughters family. It has been less than a year, and everything now sticks to the round pan. In order to get it clean, I boil water and dish soap and use a non-scratch pad to get it clean. My daughter's set is doing the same. I didn't realize that this was a epoxy coating or I wouldn't have bought them.

It's a lot of money for a product that doesn't last, and you have to pay for shipping to and from the manufacturer to get it repaired. I don't think it's worth the shipping cost to have it repaired; it might be better to shop around and invest in a different pan. The main reason I bought these pans was for the non-stick and high heat resistance.

Kinda disappointed

By Diane M., New Orleans, LA, Verified Reviewer

I bought a set of the Copper Chef cookware, about a year ago. I have the big square pan, and also the frying pan big and small. I purchased the set from Sam's. I do not have the receipt (of course!), or the box it came in. All of the pans are chipping, and also, it seems like the non-stick is really not working so well. They were great pans at first, not so good into a year of using them. When I looked up the warranty of these lifetime pans, you need your receipt. Also, you have to pay to send the pot back, and for each pot, you have to send $14.99 for each pot/skillet! That is so believable.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Copper Chef titan glass lids!

By Patricia A. , Michigan

Love the pans, hate the glass lids!

Cannot clean around the inside edges and is now getting food build-up, which is causing bacteria. I’ve called and complained and the lady I talked to said to soak it in vinegar and water overnight. Still not clean. Now I’ll probably have to throw the lids away. Not happy about this! Bought off a TV ad.

Length of Use: 1–2 years

Conflicting Information

By Rob, Austin, MN, Verified Reviewer

They say it is out of stock at customerstatus.com. Then the rep I spoke with on the phone said delivery is delayed due to UPS and then the website rep says that it is in sock but says to allow 3 - 4 weeks for delivery. But changed her tune and gave a date of 1/28/16 when I gave her my order number.

Brief overview of whether to buy

By Tom Stanley, Gardnerville, NV, Verified Reviewer

I like the pan, and would like to try it, if it wasn't for that darn long handle. Too bad it doesn't have a detachable handle, instead of the bolted on long one. It won't fit in my oven, and the sides are too high for a frying pan. I must admit, because of this, the pan is losing.

This cheap crap is waaaaaay overpriced

By Brent Metteer, Woodland, WA, Verified Reviewer

This cookware sticks worse than any Teflon I have used. It warps and cooks only on the edges. The utensils are cheap and some of the hardware broke before we even used anything one time. My wife got suckered on a TV ad and bought 2 of these. Gave one to my son and he won't even use it.

Where's the rest of my pan?

By Nick St John, Madison, CT, Verified Reviewer

Seriously: I'm missing half of my pan! This just arrived today and I can say unequivocally that this pan is NOT the same size as the one on TV. It's a nice pan but it should be half the cost if it's half the size. You will not be able to cook a pie for 16 or make a dozen breakfast sandwiches at one time in this. Not even close. This is a dishonest deal and I haven't, yet, decided whether to return the pan or not, but I'm definitely not happy. Buyer Beware!

Disappointed

By Jozee, Washington, Verified Reviewer

I ordered the Copper Chef 5-piece. I opened, read the instructions carefully and cleaning info, all of which I did exactly as stated. This was on May 2, 2016.

After drying pans, found scratches (or cracks) on the inside of pan coating. IF, shipping and handling caused these issues, how does this hold up in everyday use in a normal household?

I did use it to fix dinner, but the already damaged pan coating is an issue for me now, so will wait and see what it will cost to Return. If shipping & handling is too high, I will just keep them and learn a $105 lesson.

Fixed Halibut fried in a bit of bacon grease on medium heat. Sticking was not a problem when I used this pan. It did heat evenly, it's much lighter than my cast irons (which I love) and was easy to clean.

I emailed company to request Return/Refund Info but I haven't been too hopeful of outcome after reading these reviews.

Copper Chef Stick Pan

By Jerry Davis, Bellingham, WA, Verified Reviewer

I ordered this pan after seeing all the commercials where everything slides like it's on ice skates. You also get the idea that its scratch proof. The first day I got the pan I fried an egg. It had to be scraped off. Sticks like glue also almost everything sticks unless you use oil. The only thing good about the pan is it heats up fast. All the utensils that came with it are cheap junk not even worth a dime at a garage sale. No wonder they can pay for all them commercials and pat the shipping. Their original cost is about $2.00 each. Yes I would recommend this to an enemy.

Received the pot and skillet. They messed up my payments.

By Jay, Lakewood, NJ, Verified Reviewer

1. The rep. messed up my payments in spite of going over the details with her (Renae) 3 times. She decided to take the total payment all at once. Waste of time on the phone with CS rep who doesn't speak good English to rectify situation.

2. The skillet is no good at all. Supposed to be non-stick but sticks like crazy. Took pictures and send it to customer service but no reply yet. Now I suspect if the pot is non-stick.
