Upset

By Nita Stewart, Daphne, AL, Verified Reviewer

The company behind Copper Chefs says you can use metal utensils, but their instructions say not to use! They sent me plastic utensils! Their ad shows a mixer being used in pan! This is false advertising.

TERRIBLE PRODUCT

By Margaret Osterhout, Vestal, NY, Verified Reviewer

We have had these pans roughly 3 months, but the frying pan has been used mostly cooking eggs, fish, grilled cheese, etc. At about 2 weeks, we noticed a chip had come out of the middle of the pan (the finish is now wearing off both pans). We complained to them & they said to send it back. So we now have to go thru the trouble of buying a box, packing it, then paying to ship it back, $15 or more. Was it really worth our time & money to send this crap back or grin & bare it like most people.

We didn't send it back, we got screwed.

Ripped off in Milwaukee

By Thomas , Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Verified Reviewer

I ordered a 6 piece set of cookware and only received 4 pieces. They recorded my order of a 6 piece set and lied about the fact that I had ordered a 4 piece set for a final price of $34.99. They reneged on the final price of $34.99 and added 2 more payments of $34.99 for more deception and insult. It cost me $17.72 to return this hoax. Do not buy this product ever.

Scared to use again

By Debbie Sanford, Virginia, Verified Reviewer

I have used my fry pan twice. Not sure why but moisture builds under it. The first time I heard it sizzle and was able to wipe it. Thinking it had not dried within 24 hours, I tried it again a week later.

This time the moisture built up so much that it literally moved the pan off the stove into the floor. The food was ruined and the water was all around the burner.

Anyone know how this happens? I am afraid to use it again.

Disappointed

By Kay Adkins, Meadow Bridge, WV, Verified Reviewer

I got a Copper Chef Pan in July of this year (2016). The product was supposed to be warranted for a lifetime of nonstick cooking. WELL guess what, it is only actually warranted for 60 DAYS.

Eggs stuck in mine from the first day. Meat started sticking within a week. What a disappointment.

I will never buy anything else from this company. The pan is defective in my opinion and I was told I had to send $9.99 shipping fee to get a replacement because I went over the 60-day warranty. Lifetime or 60 days, which is it?

They ask that I be fair and honest with my review. Well, this is as honest as I can be.

Copper Chef – Don't waste your money people

By David Grubb, Raleigh, NC, Verified Reviewer

If you see a good review about this pan, they were likely paid by the seller to write it. The pan did not last a month before it started sticking, just like the cheap ones you can buy for 10 bucks at Walmart.

Now it is useless except for boiling water. Plus, their return policy requires you to pay 10 bucks for shipping it back, and another 15 bucks for unknown?? handling fee.

Just save your money and buy a Walmart cheap pan and throw it away after it starts sticking. You will come out way ahead and save money in the long run.

I hate that I did not research the reviews here before purchasing. My bad. Most everyone here gives them a bad review. If anyone knows of a really good non-stick pan that does last a while, I would love to hear about it.

Else, I will just continue to buy the cheap ones every few months at Walmart or Amazon.

Don't do it!

By Lourdes, Tacoma, WA, Verified Reviewer

My husband bought these Copper Chef Pans two months ago because he saw the infomercials and loved the way eggs slide off the pan with no butter or oil used! They are beautiful, but everything sticks to these pans and they are difficult, if not impossible to clean! In fact, I caught my husband using a scrub pad.

We have soaked them and tried in vain to make them look like new. I was just about to use oven cleaner on them but am disappointed you can only use the oven cleaner on the outside bottom, not the sides or inside. I would never buy these again or ever recommend them to anyone. Too bad, he thought these would be the only pans we would need for our newly remodeled Airstream.

Copper Chef 9 inch fry pan, food sticks.

By Caren A. Boecher, Abingdo, MD, Verified Reviewer

I purchased my Copper Chef 9 inch fry pan six months ago and there were no instructions addressing seasoning or doing anything in preparation for its use. The pan worked as advertised for two months, then it started sticking foods to it. I have been forced to put a little vegetable oil in the bottom in order to even use it. I am very disappointed.

Piece of crap

By Mike Craig, KY, Verified Reviewer

First pan I had to return after a week. Copper began to peel off the bottom. Second replacement was returned after a month. Copper peels and food would sticks to the bottom when cooking. Third pan I am using now looks like it is several years old, copper peeling off bottom and sides, food severely sticks to the bottom.

Was told I had to pay to return it for a replacement, but hell after 3 pans why waste my time. Take it from a disgruntled customer. Don't waste your money. It's crap.

Using Oil

By Bessie Lobato, Bridgeville, DE, Verified Reviewer

I bought one of the frying pans and came to find out, when reading the brochure, it is recommended not to use olive oil. So to make potatoes and eggs we used regular oil and were not happy with it. The eggs had an off taste. Don't think this pan will work for us because we exclusively use olive oil.
