Not Disappointed

By Kim M, Feasterville, PA, Verified Reviewer

I too had to wait for my Copper Chef order, but I am glad that I had the patience. It is the greatest pan I have ever used, and I have recommended it to all my family and friends. It is not a scam. The only complaint I have is the cheap utensils they provided, they are not good for high heat.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Upset

By Nita Stewart, Daphne, AL, Verified Reviewer

The company behind Copper Chefs says you can use metal utensils, but their instructions say not to use! They sent me plastic utensils! Their ad shows a mixer being used in pan! This is false advertising.

Disappointed

By Jane, New Jersey, Verified Reviewer

I bought mine from QVC, so there is no confusion with the Red Copper one. It is a very pretty pan. After the first use on my gas burner, there are scratches. Really, on a $75 pan? The handle is a little odd and too long, and it gets too hot to touch when you cook. Also, I noticed that as it heats, it tends to raise in the center. It hasn't done anything more special than my other pan (not like my Gordon Ramsey Everyday Pan, which I love).

So far it has been an expensive popcorn pan, and I'm afraid to touch the inside with anything. I already placed pretty much this same review on QVC. In hindsight, I should have returned it.

Dissatisfied

By Susan Williams, San Jacinto, CA, Verified Reviewer

I bought the pan from TV.

I love the pan; however, we didn't get the legs for the steamer. For the last 1 and 1/2 months, I have been trying to get the legs. I finally received a new steamer part, however, the legs weren't included. The call center must be in another country because you can't understand them very well. Then with all my phones calls, I get the same man.

I am so disappointed in this company. All I want is the legs for the steamer, how hard it that to do? Someone, please help.

Sincerely disappointed

By Deborah Rossi-Lombard, Pennsylvania, Verified Reviewer

I cannot begin to express how deeply disappointed I am with my purchase! These have to be the worst pans I have ever owned, and I'm almost fifty years old. Nothing you make in them is nonstick, and that includes scrambled eggs. I own five-year-old T-Fal products that I have to scrub less than these pans. The only thing nice about them that I can say is that the square design works well for accommodation purposes.

Think twice about what you see on TV. It's not that way when you use them in your home kitchen.

Copper Chef 9 and 1/2 inch pan

By Edward Andrek, Brooklyn, Ohio, Verified Reviewer

I am 73 years old and live alone. I saw the pan and purchased it because I received one with my NuWave. I only use it with my NuWave, and it's only washed by hand. After using it a few times, I noticed the non-stick coming off the edges of the pan and then the bottom, and now I don't use it because I don't want to eat any that is on the surface.

It could have been wonderful

By Joan Wolf, Arizona, Verified Reviewer

I was so pleased that I got the pan for Christmas, and I cook a lot. It worked great the first month. I carefully followed the directions for cleaning and using. Three months after getting the pan, things began to stick. Oh well, but it was a great size and useful. HOWEVER, I just went to clean the bottom of the pan and noticed that on two corners the copper had completely worn off! For a pan costing $2.99, I would expect that, one that is as expensive as this, NO. I hate being disappointed and will never buy a Copper Chef anything.

Not satisfied with this product

By Tammy Johnson, West Virginia, Verified Reviewer

I went and bought two of these; the round one and deep square one. I used then for a while and it started sticking bad, so I thought well, I'll heat them up on low before I use them. The first few times they don't stick, but if you'd cook more of the same thing in the skillet about the third time it starts to stick bad. I never had mine in the dishwasher.

When I first got mine I loved them, and when my brother asked what we though we told him that these are some great pans. So he went and got him two. A few weeks later he called and said, "hey do your pans stick?" He went on saying "I never put any metal to them, I use those utensils you told me to use." He added, "mine sticks bad."

I am NOT a very happy costumer! I had others ask and I told them about the experience my brother and I were having. I wish they wouldn't stick. I liked them at first.

Nothing lasts forever, that includes these pans!

By Steven Wilson, California, Verified Reviewer

I bought a set in December of 2016. For the first six months they performed flawlessly, then they began losing their non-stick ability. Now, they are just like any other pan. In fact, I have non-stick pans that are years older that are still non-stick. Too bad these lost their non-stick mojo because while new, they were the best set of pans we have ever owned, but six months later, sorry, they're trash!

Pans stick after several uses

By Patricia Van Horne, Park Rapids, MN, Verified Reviewer

I ordered the pans by phone. I loved these pans at first. However, food has been sticking to the bottom, and I must soak them prior to washing. I did not use spray oils (i.e., Pam) as directed, and followed directions for use and care. Food still sticks to the pans even after a light coating of oil or butter. I read on the "warranty" that you must package and pay for postage, plus a $14.99 check or money order along with the date of purchase and receipt and they will let you know if Tristar elects to refund/replace the item.

I won't order these again.

Do not buy

By Martie N., George, South Africa, Verified Reviewer

I bought me and my sister a Copper pot for Christmas 2017. It was wonderful at first, but after 6 months or so, it was definitely not non stick anymore, can still cook with it, but everything burns and stick to the bottom and is difficult to clean. After all these reviews, who will buy it again? It is false advertising, or did the company already made enough money out of selling it this way that they don't care anymore?

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
