Not so good

By Nancy Vanier, Columbia Falls, Maine, Verified Reviewer

I bought the Copper Chef for $75.00 and loved it for the first 30 days. I told everyone how great it was and used nearly every day for everything. Then spare ribs burned on. I thought "no problem," it would just slide out. Not so.

I boiled it, and some came out but not all. I soaked it. Finally, I managed to get the burned on mess cleaned out of the pan. After that, I noticed everything began to catch on, the metal heating ring on the bottom rose up to create a dome in the center of the pan, the copper finish along the edges where the lid sits was scratching off, and the inside of the pan lost its finish.

Finally, after several months, I called to tell someone at Copper Chef about this and was told I could get a discount on another pan. So much for a lifetime warranty.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Bad product

By Robert Shanks, Peoria, Illinois, Verified Reviewer

I received my Copper Chef with the round lid bent, and it would not seal. I called the company, and they said they would send me a new lid and sorry that it got bent. After six months, I'm still waiting. So I started cooking with the skillet using only non-metal tools. I washed only with sponges, and after the third time, I noticed what looked like a white ring around the top edge. I haven't used the lid at all, so upon looking closer, the metal copper was flaking off.

Like everyone else has said, customer service sucks.

Offered food coupons for $100, cannot get pin to redeem bogus offer

By Patrick Ryan, Bettendorf, Iowa, Verified Reviewer

I have filled out the form twice to redeem $100 food coupons. They say they will send you a pin, but I have not received it. I called customer service four times, and they tell you it is a third party, and they cannot help. TV B.S.

Handle heated up and burned me

By Nathan, Wallingford, CT, Verified Reviewer

This pot was a gift from my wife because I do a lot of cooking. After about a year of use my wife was making a grilled cheese sandwich on medium temperature, and when she went to take hold of the handle, she burned her hand. She realized that there was a popping sound coming from inside the handle. Somehow fluid had gotten into the handle.

When we called the company, they gave us the runaround for 45 minutes and in the end wanted us to pay for shipping to send it back to them. We live in the town where they are distributed from and offered to drop it off, and they insisted that we pay to ship it to the facility!

Also, the pot does not clean like they claim. It stains, and they are impossible to get off. Don't waste your money.

Don't sear steak

By Martin R Scarborough, Arizona, Verified Reviewer

My Copper Chef pans worked great until I seared steak in them. After that, they stick no matter what I cook in them. The infomercial and the TV spot and the magazine articles all say that it is safe to sear steak in these pans. Yet I seared steak in the frying pan, and it ruined it. I seared steak in the chef's pan, and it ruined it.

Don't waste your money or time! Very disappointed.

By Angel A., Florida, Verified Reviewer

I cannot believe that QVC promotes Copper Chef! I ordered the special from QVC with 9 pieces, in October of 2017.

I took a chance because of the lifetime guarantee, "we will replace no questions asked!" What a lie!

The 11-inch pot has started to chip on the inside. I called QVC, and they said I had to reach out to Copper Chef.

Well, long story short, in order to have my pot replaced for free, it's going to cost $40 plus. $20 plus for me to ship it back to Copper Chef and $20 plus for Copper Chef to send the replacement.

Needless to say, I feel cheated! That's half of what I paid for the set ($84.78).

If you buy these pots and pans, good luck replacing them. Nothing easy about returning or free about the exchange of this product!

Shame on QVC for not protecting its customers!

Non stick, ha!

By Rick Y., Indiana, Verified Reviewer

Our 9.5 square pan, everything is sticking in it. When I talked to a rep, she said to box, include $9.00 and ship it to them.

Not what I would call a warranty by the time you pay for shipping, and also $9 isn't worth it.

I won't buy another nonstick (?) Copper Chef pan.

Ordered by PayPal

By Pavel , Utah

I put the PayPal order from Web site www.unitycarts.com/copper_chef_COP319RET. It took 5 minutes. There is statement that delivery will be done between 7 - 10 business days. So if I don't get it within two weeks, I will just dispute PayPal payment.

No complaints

By Alexis , Pittsburgh, PA, Verified Reviewer

I bought the 6 piece set a little over a month ago and have used them ever since. Never had a problem, cleans up easy no scrubbing required, it is awesome. I liked it so much I just ordered the 10 inch pan, they had a deal buy 1 get 1, so I jumped on it and I am sure they'll be just as great. Not too sure why people are saying bad things pertaining this product but to each their own. Yes, I would recommend this to others as I already have.

Discouraged with Copper Chef

By Betty R., Florida, Verified Reviewer

Don't make the same mistake I made. I was so excited at first with this purchase. The set looked great, until I started using them. I took very good care of them, but the scratches and dullness began to appear. I have 2 sets of stainless steel pots and pans that I purchased over 20 years ago and they look much better than the Copper Chef pans that I recently purchased.

The thin layer of copper used did help avoid the sticking without the need of the oil or butter for a while, but like others have stated in their reviews you can still purchase the copper pans from other companies at a much cheaper price.

Unfortunately, the Copper Chef investment I made will soon be in the recycling bin.

Copper Chef is the Greatest Cookware

By Ralph Lynch, Elkview, WV, Verified Reviewer

I purchased 2 of the square pans. I use them for Filet Mignon , followed directions in Copper Chef cookbook. Do not cook from frozen, all you add is salt and pepper. I do Orange Roughy, just salt and pepper, add some butter of top, follow cooking instructions. I just baked a cake in one, use heat and time for Bundt directions. Made French fries. I have used these over and over, they look brand new. I hand wash and hang from handles. I have never had anything stick or stain these pans. I have only used cooking oil and butter. You must follow directions with the cookware, you cannot abuse it.
