Copper Chef

By Ben Garner, Virginia, Verified Reviewer

I have not received my order yet. They operate like a rip off scam. Customer service is rude. I made and order of a pan, that was increased 3 times. 29.00 went to 79.00 without my authorization or choice. I am refusing their package and demanding a complete refund. Their claims fail the reasonable test.

Crap

By Kristine , Verified Reviewer

I've used the Copper Chef pan about 5 times. I noticed that the coating is beginning to flake and food sticking. I'm also seeing two scratches yet I have never used metal in the pan. I've used other similar pans but they were wonderful!

Just another bad excuse for a skillet.

By Allen, St. Cloud, FL, Verified Reviewer

Got caught up in the commercials for this skillet. With an old lady using it, it seemed it would actually last. The first day got a scratch that chipped the coating, which according to the commercial that had a fork and egg beater running on the surface, said it would withstand that type of work. Strike one.

Next day cooked steak for dinner. During clean up the steak juices where stuck to the pan. Not an easy clean up like the commercial showed. Strike two.

The best thing is the the lifetime guarantee which has you mailing the skillet with $9.99 for processing fee. Then, it's up to their discretion to replace or re-coat. $30 at Bed Bath and Beyond. If I have these problems already than I will be paying for another skillet in no time at all. Thank you for proving that these info commercials are just a scam. Back to just buying a cheap skillet. Enjoy that $30.

Piece of junk

By LV, DE, Verified Reviewer

I would not even give this product a 1 star. The material is so cheap and extremely thin, it's a rip off. It is made in China, be better off to buy a cheap pan at the Dollar Store. Just wondering how Eric Theiss sleeps well at night endorsing this company.

Company is a scam

By Kristi Weber, Washington, Verified Reviewer

I decided against purchasing this item before I received it. I returned the unopened package per their instructions. I never received a refund from the company, even after contacting them after I verified via tracking that they had received the item at their return center. Copper Chef claimed that they had refunded my money, but they never did. I paid through PayPal, who initiated a claim on my behalf.

Poorest customer service I've ever seen

By Randy Seals, Apple River, IL, Verified Reviewer

I placed an order and 24 hours later canceled it in order to get the 12 piece package. After placing the second order thought it was all good. Today I found the funds for both orders were taken from my account. I checked the order status on their website to find both orders were canceled. I called and was told they were 6 weeks behind on orders, so they canceled the second order without asking me if I would be willing to wait. Their resolution was to buy it, or another brand, somewhere else? I will, and never deal with this company again.

Round copper chef pan

By Wayne S., Mission TX, Verified Reviewer

I ordered two Copper Chef frying pans with lids. The pans were well-built and the lids fit perfect but everything I fry in them sticks, seems like bacon is the worst and pork chops are next on the list. I bought a Pioneer Woman brand frying pan at Walmart for $9.95 in the same size and get much better results than from the Copper Chef and none of the above seem to stick in Pioneer Woman brand fry pan. I would not recommend the Copper Chef Pan to anyone.

pieces missing,

By Marlene Yeomans, southbury, CT, Verified Reviewer

I received pan yesterday. Box looked like it had been opened and retaped shut. It has warranty, recipe book, and an instruction manual. Plastic covering of the pan looked like it had been opened and scotched taped closed around the handle. I have been trying all yesterday and today to get answers to my multiples emails to no avail. I should have read customer reviews prior to purchasing item. They don't even have a toll free number to call. One person returned it via certified mail and still hasn't received a credit, the company claims it has not been received (CERTIFIED). Please, buyer beware, really beware. Lousy company to do business with I guess!

Scam

By Jimmy Allen , Georgia, Verified Reviewer

I will not buy another piece of merchandise from Copper Chef. It's a scam. I purchased my Copper Chef one day, found the same ad for $15 less the next day. Same website. Pan is of poor quality. Trust me, outside finish scratches so easy that it's unbelievable. Don't waste your money.

Hate it

By Rhonda, Verified Reviewer

This is a horrible pan. I figured it could not be any worse that other non-stick pans. WRONG. I hand washed it and at the very first use the eggs stuck to the pan, and the eggs cooked in the middle of the pan but not around the sides and corners of the pan. Also the pan will not even come close to holding the 4 pieces of bread that it shows in the commercial. 9 1/2 inches across the top of the pan is true. They must be using a very small loaf of bread for the commercial or a different sized pan. And their warranty is NO GOOD, if you have already paid $8 to ship it and then have to pay $15 or more to return it. I just cut my losses and sent it to the garbage.

A waste of money

By Katherine, Lake Worth, FL, Verified Reviewer

The advertisement on TV convinced me that this was the pan to buy. No stick, no scratch, even heating copper, etc. Before you use this pan, you must 'season' it with oil and bake at high heat. I did everything to a T, but alas, this pan was a real waste of my hard-earned dollars. The main problem is that foods stick badly to the pan unless you are very generous with the oil in cooking. I was hoping to avoid the extra fat (as advertised). Too bad for me. Thank heavens I didn't double the order.
