I have been using pocket derm for about 11 months. I used to suffer from very bad cystic acne. I have tried almost every on the market to eliminate my acne. I went to so many dermatologists, that ended up with no positive results. However, I did my research on Curology and thought I give it a try. It was the best things that could have ever happen to my face.

My dermatologist from Curology was very responsive to my questions, which I had a lot of and explained everything in details about my customize medication that they provided just for me. Pocket Derm works very well with Spironolactone 50mg. I only used it at night after washing my face very well. It takes about 3 months or sooner to start seeing results. This is my miracle bottle!

Easy to use, feel good on my skin, has made a difference in the texture. Doesn't cause breakouts or irritation. Skin feels smoother, pores less noticeable. Like that, I have someone at Curology that I can contact directly with any questions or concerns and that my product is made specifically for my skin type and concerns.

I had heard a lot of good things about Curology and how it helps reduce acne and other problems that anyone can have on their face. I didn’t know the pricing, but I saw that I could receive my first bottle for free, so I thought why not? I only paid about $5 for shipping, so I wasn’t mad. I was told my package would come in about four days; I got it in two. Evidently, I was impressed already. Then I tried it. At first, I was scared that I would break out more. I did. However, by breakout I mean I got one single pimple. After that, my skin became CLEAR like crystal.

I’ve finished my first bottle and I haven’t used it for about three weeks and guess what? My skin is still CLEAR. Honey, YES, I give this product a 10/10!

My skin had started to improve for a month or two, and then it really stopped reacting to the formulas. My skin got worse. My skin looks a lot worse now than it did a year ago right before I even started Curology back in October 2017. I would advise that Curology focus more on helping people to find the root cause of their acne. And letting people know that this along with diet and dealing with the root cause is the only way to "cure" acne. I just wish there was more attention focused to naturally solving the acne, but I understand Curology is a business and needs to make money off of their product rather than give advice to naturally heal the skin. I had high hopes for this, and I know most people do. But Curology did not work, just like every other topical/cleanser/etc. never has.

I tested Curology for 7 months (1 trial bottle, 2 of the 1-month supply, and 3 of the 2-month supply). One of those bottles made my acne better. The consistency of the medication in each bottle and the results produced were noticeably inconsistent. The website and info provided are very well set up. I believe I do need those ingredients I was prescribed, but am not receiving them from Curology (even though it says on the bottle and I'm paying for it). This is a very clever scam as some individuals will gloss over the inconsistency in hopes of clearer acne. It's like cutting vodka with water.

Suggestion: Do the free/cheap trial and then cancel. It is helpful to go through the questionnaire and see what you need. They also provide a lot of information about skin care/make-up. If you need adapalene or doxycycline and have insurance, just ask your doctor for a prescription - you can probably get the generic for way cheaper. If you're allergic/have a bad reaction to those (like me), I still haven't found anything perfectly clearing, but salicylic acid works well enough for now.

I’ve had acne for years that just won’t go away. I’ve tried so many different treatments and brands that didn’t really stick. But with this, I actually started seeing my skin clear up. I used to wake up to one or two new devils on my face, but I don’t (usually) anymore. If you do miss a day, though, it will mess up a bit. Plus, you’re contacted to see if it’s doing its job! You get great facial cleanser and moisturizer recommendations specifically for your skin type. All around great product. (I use a Clarisonic Mia 2 to get it really in my pores!)

Before I started using Curology, my skin wasn't terrible, but I also wasn't happy with how it looked. I am still in my teen years, so pimples are a given. I would always have a few good sized ones on my cheeks, my nose pores would get clogged, and my forehead would sometimes break out with smaller pimples, especially around my menstrual cycle. I completed the skin test online where it asked questions about what my skin was like and what I was looking to improve. It's amazing how a doctor made a formula, especially for MY skin. Whenever I had questions or concerns, someone always responded to me within a day.

Within 30 days of using the product every night before bed, my skin got noticeably better. When I say noticeably, I mean all those big pimples on my cheeks went away, and when I do get any pimples now, they are small and are completely gone within a day or two.

I also struggle with somewhat oily skin, and I noticed my skin started to even out and not go through big breakout cycles. What's crazy is I didn't change anything else about my routine. I still use the same face wash, moisturizer, and make-up. I know this product works because it's the only thing I've changed about my skincare routine!

If you are using the product, make sure you give the product enough time to work and let your skin adjust to it. It took my skin about 30 days, some people might take longer. I PROMISE it's so worth it! I was hoping this product was one of those well marketed but poor quality products, I can guarantee you it's not!

My skin has never looked or felt better. I am 31 and struggled with breakouts since I was a teenager. With Curology my breakouts have become virtually nonexistent, even during my period, which is when I typically would break out the worst. I used to suffer from cystic acne flare ups along my jawline and that has been completely eradicated! My scars and dark spots have been visibly reduced or disappeared completely, and the overall look and feel of my skin has improved drastically.

Plus, the routine really couldn’t be any simpler. It is a bit pricey, but when you consider that you get a face wash, a moisturizer, and a treatment cream custom made for your needs, it’s really totally worth it. I do wish the prescription cream lasted a little longer; I seem to run out well before I am due to reorder. Overall though, I truly don’t know what I would do without my Curology!

Luckily, my email received a reply immediately after a few hours from a Mrs. Sarah. Here’s the situation.

I applied for the free trial. The product made my skin a lot worse and hurtful to the touch. However, I chose to trust in the product and decided to pause my membership to possibly try a different formula.

Immediately, they send me the same product that I communicated (via email) was terrible for my skin. And they also charged me a whopping $60.

Sarah clarified how the "pausing option" skips a few shipments and resumes them for later. That is completely understandable.

I am simply frustrated because customer service simply ignored my situation and ended with a "Thanks for being a Curology member. We’ll always be here if you change your mind." They did not offer an alternative for me. It seemed that my dissatisfaction or concerns about their system mattered nothing to them. Considering that I paused my service, It would be great if the 90-day refund guarantee was applicable. Or they could resend me a different prescription (that I could actually use) to replace the one shipped.

I truly want to respect this organization again and recommend it to my friends, because this is a great service for acne prone people. But they are not doing everything wrong in regards to customer service. Please fix this.

I have very sensitive skin. My face swells or itches so bad if I use some strong products and it irritates my acne more. I found Curology online and it was perfect. They formulated a customize cream for me and it works. My acne is gone and I will still continue using this product.

I have seen amazing results since I’ve started Curology!

My hormonal breakouts are almost down to nothing.

It’s given me an extra boost of confidence and it’s nice to not need to wear as much makeup.

I have really enjoyed my experience with this company and product so I would definitely recommend it to a friend!
