More app options please

By Joanne , Seattle, WA

I love DailyBurn. There are workout tips for whatever mood I'm in. The few workouts I've been able to do really kicked my butt. However, I can no longer do workouts since the app is not available on the PlayStation 4. I'm going to have to cancel my subscription if I can't use it.

Thieves

By cmi113, New Jersey, Verified Reviewer

I signed up for the free trial and decided it was not for me. I had just missed my deadline so I canceled the account as soon as I could after that. Despite this, the charges still continued to appear on my credit card. I tried to call the DailyBurn, but their phone number recording tells you that you can only be serviced via their website. I called my credit card company twice to dispute the bogus charges, the second time requesting a new credit card number change to stop this. Daily Burn apparently found a way to bill to the new credit card number. This time my credit card activated a suppression code to prevent any further activity. This is a highly honed scam. Do not do business with them!

Love it.

By Laura , Indianapolis

Daily Burn is great. I love that there are so many workouts to choose from. For me doing the same thing over and over again just sucks the motivation right out of me. I am in my free trial time and in the second week of Inferno (I was doing Insanity) and I am anxious to wake up tomorrow morning for the next workout. There will be no cancelation of my membership here, though Planet Fitness will go bye.

Great options, variety, and value

By Jennfer , Florida

I don't know what people are complaining about. There are so many options for what ever you're working for. As much support as you want for yourself. No they won't hold your hand and drag you to the screen, but you can get a diet plan for each week with ingredients and recipes, one to one coaching or just do the workouts yourself. I love classes, but here in South Florida classes and gym memberships are really costly for those with group classes. So I pay way LESS: $10 a month for the gym machines and use DailyBurn for classes that would normally run me about $10-$30 per visit or $100 a month.

As for the billing issues, well as far as I can tell you're only as informed as you choose to be. Pay attention to the fine print. No one is getting ripped off unless they are just dumb and didn't pay attention. No cancelation is easy, but that's a common occurrence for any subscription service, membership or club.

It fits pretty well for most people, not everyone I'm sure but it's a great fit for a lot of us.

Terrible

By Tiffany , Leavenworth, KS

I canceled before my free trial was up yet they continue to charge me. I had to close my account and I wasn't able talk to a live person at DailyBurn. I hate it and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Great workout site

By Jean Sprague , Santa Cruz, CA

I have only been on DailyBurn for a little but in that short time, I have not only felt better but I have felt the workouts working. I may be sore but that's the point, it's work to get the body you want. That doesn't mean you have to die of exhaustion and that is one of the great things about this site is that it is a variety of levels and they are with you every step of the way. I have already recommended this to plenty of people and I will keep doing so.

Love this

By Mandie Adones , Belvidere, NJ

I am a stay at home mother of two boys. I was looking to join a gym but with my son's sports schedule and husband's work schedule and a toddler it was very hard to find time to go. I kept seeing DailyBurn on TV and talked with my husband about trying it. He encouraged me to do it. I researched the free trial and how much they would charge if I didn't cancel after the 30 days right on their site. It was all there in the terms and conditions about the auto charge after 30 days. $12.95 per month is not that bad and since my husband is very into weights, all I got was some little things we didn't have here so that I could get more out of the workouts.

I didn't have to buy anything if I didn't want to and the trainers even tell you if you don't have it don't worry. The modifications for some of the exercises are great too especially if you are a beginner or have a previous knee, hip, shoulder injury etc. I haven't been bombarded with emails from them or any annoyances to buy their supplements, products, etc.

I recommend DailyBurn to all the busy stay at home moms I know. I have been using it for a month and am seeing results and have become more self motivated to get up every day and workout for an hour. The diversity of the programs are great as well. I love my DailyBurn.

Love the Workouts, Skip the Supplements

By D Reagan , Houston, TX

I love the Daily Burn Workouts. I started at the Total Beginner Program because it had been a long time since I exercised regularly. I've never been a fan of the gym scene and do not feel social when I'm exercising, so I love doing the workouts on my schedule without the extra wasted time of getting to and from the gym.

The nutrition program looks balanced and there are a wide variety of recipes to choose from. If you like to track every last bit that goes into your mouth, their tracker app is pretty good, but I like SparkPeople's tracker a bit better.

Now I have to make a point about the supplements. The Trim and Pre-Workout supplements are loaded with caffeine (138 mg and 200 mg, respectively). They bury this info in the supplement facts tab while showing you pretty pictures of all the plant based-components. A cup of green tea is 25mg. A Monster Energy drink is 160-240 mg. The Fuel-6 protein powder looks ok and is fine if you really want to go vegan or have issues with whey and soy protein.

Scam

By Elise , Fort Wayne, IN

I can't speak to the effectiveness of the actual workouts because I signed up for it and promptly forgot about it. I am very active and love to exercise. I just never got into DailyBurn. However, I think a company screams scam when you enter your credit card information and never hear from them again. I had a subscription for three months and never got a single email from them. If they were really interested in keeping me fit, wouldn't they be emailing me and reminding me to work out and fulfill my fitness goals? Once I canceled, the emails started to stream in asking me to return and asked me to work out with them. I was so turned off at that point. I would never recommend it to anyone.

Perfect for anyone and everyone

By Sammy , Colorado

I did this program about 9 months ago, had it about 6 months and loved it. I wasn't disciplined enough and had bought a new program so got rid of my "membership" but I just joined again. If you are diligent you'll see great results. I love the Tabata. Cody is awesome. I did the first workout and couldn't walk for two days, those moves are seriously hard but so fun, and it's a great work out. I love that it lays everything out for you. Worth it.

Very usable, very efficient

By Lois , Georgia

I am only in my third week of Daily Burn, but I really like it so far. It is very convenient, and I am able to fit the 30 minute or so workouts into my schedule well. I hated going to the gym, but now I get to workout in the privacy of my home. The videos are like having your own personal trainers. I lost 5 pounds in 16 days, and that is without changing my diet in any significant way. I like that they do short, intense bursts of cardio, combined with weights and core exercises. You get a great workout in the short period of time. I am still on the 30 day free trial, but I definitely think the $10 per month will be worth it.
