Yes it DOES work!

By Melissa Archer, Houston, TX, Verified Reviewer

I do not understand the negative reviews. I guess some dogs are just very picky.

We ordered Dinovite along with Lickochops some time ago. The two combined have been a Godsend to our senior fur baby. Katypage was adopted/rescued four years ago. She came to us with severe ear infections, skin disease, allergies, matted fur, and just pitiful. She is a mini schnauzer. I cleaned her up, shaved her hair, would put oils on her skin but nothing got rid of the smell, kept her from chewing her paws, and her ears stayed infected even with antibiotics.

I was skeptical about another "product" saying it would fix things but I figured she was worth the investment. After one week, the odor from her skin was gone. After two to three weeks, the constant chewing and scratching stopped, and after a month, her skin and coat are very healthy, and now after two months, I'm only maintaining healthy ears (cleaning them one time a week). She even jumps on the sofa now! That was the most pleasant surprise! She is between 12-14 years of age and one day she scared me when she jumped up next to me on the sofa!

Thank you Dinovite for living up to the "hype" and doing all that you say you will do. If you have a picky eater, try mixing it with a little wet and dry food. I do believe the Lickochops helps as well with picky eaters. The oils are great for the skin/coat, and the flavor is something dogs crave. I know it may not work for everyone, but it DID and IS working for us!

Thank you Dinovite for giving me MORE quality time with my fur baby!

Works for me!

By Skip Hahn, Orange, CA, Verified Reviewer

Cleared up my pug's skin, she was starting to get that black skin on her belly, which I have seen on others. I was just about to re-order when I could not believe the reviews I see. Although, I feed her baked chicken, shredded and infused with Dinovite every day.

Dinovite for large dogs

By Sitzman, Iowa, Verified Reviewer

I would never use this product again. My dog refused to eat it for ten days! He even got into the garbage, which he never did before, probably because he was starving! So I then tried hiding it in peanut butter bread. And guess what? It still did not do a thing. So I requested a refund. Not only did I have to pay the return postage, I also have to wait 30 days for my refund. What a waste of 100 bucks!

Great results

By Tina Johnson, Chicago, IL, Verified Reviewer

I have a Maltese that was licking her paws constantly. I put some this on her food, and she instantly stopped the licking. I am very pleased with this product. I am concerned about the liver comment, and I will contact my vet and ask, but I have to tell you it's a miracle if you ask me.

Garbage

By Visita Kong, Santa Clara, CA, Verified Reviewer

It's equivalent to garbage. I tossed the box in the garbage after a week. Read the reviews about the hassle of returning their products. I can't believe this company is still around. Reviews on their websites have to be approved by them; as such all reviews on its site are positive with a few negatives reviews that do not impact readers opinion. An example of a negative review; "product fix not help." Overall; it's no good.

Dinovite powder

By Jacqueline Pendergrass, Hickory, NC, Verified Reviewer

I have used the Dinovite powder on my dog's food now for about a month. I have a puggle (eight years old), a Chihuahua (seven years old), and a Chi-Jack Russell mix (one year old).

My Chihuahua has had skin issues since eight weeks old. I have paid hundreds of dollars in vet bills; he's had deep cleaning of the ears, testing for yeast, everything, and they give me a salve that never works and send us home. He is now seven years old. Last night I noticed his crusty ears are soft and supple, and his hair that was missing from scratching has grown back. The paws are not red, and hair is growing back there. The only patches he has left is on his chin and chest.

Not only is he happier, he plays like he did at eight weeks old. My two older boys are playing and running like puppies again. It's unbelievable the change in my fur babies. Plus, none of them will eat their food until I put the Dinovite powder in it.

You have a lifetime customer for sure!

Not for picky eaters/expensive and difficult to return

By Tina, Los Angeles, CA, Verified Reviewer

My Dobermans turned their noses up and wouldn't eat it in their food. Even the puppy, who eats anything, wouldn't touch it.

The site is difficult to navigate, and they made it difficult to return. I have to pay return shipping. Let's see if they give me my money back.

Not for my cat.

By Tim, Jonesboro, AR, Verified Reviewer

I tried the Dinovite for cats, but my cat wouldn't eat it, didn't like it at all. So it was a waste of time and money. YCMV (Your Cat May Vary)

Not sure it helps

By Dan, Florida, Verified Reviewer

Our 11-year-old Golden Retriever started looking weak; excessive hair loss, lethargic, noticeable weight loss, hot spots, and gooey eyes. The vet put her on antibiotics and steroids.

She got better for a while, and then we started on Dinovite. She seemed to respond but wouldn't eat it. I cook whole organic chickens, carrots, sweet potatoes and broccoli and mix with her dry food and Dinovite. What we noticed was a "phlegm" in her stools that almost looked like intestinal tissue. It came and went and she began to regress.

Three weeks ago we stopped the Dinovite after she had a major accident in the house. EVERYWHERE! I began to give her half a teaspoon of virgin organic coconut oil with each meal and cut back on the total food intake. She looks AMAZING! Her weight has increased noticeably. Her coat looks good, there are no hot spots, and she wants to play all the time. Try coconut oil. So inexpensive and we use it ourselves.

I can't say anything negative about Dinovite, but this seems to be working. Will keep you posted.

Did not work for us.

By Mary, North Carolina, Verified Reviewer

My husband had heard commercials and so we asked friends via FaceBook if anyone used it. A couple people said they did and loved it. After reading reviews we decided to spend the $100 and give it a try. Our dog is 4-year-old KLabrabull. We have battled his itchy skin from the beginning. We learned he was abandoned at four days old and mama was impregnated by a stray.

He goes through bouts of being itchy however his skin has never shown any sign of dermatitis and his hair has always been soft. We feed him very high quality of dog food. We completely dote over our boy. The product took quite some time to receive and once we started it he took to the taste.

About four weeks in he started to itch worse ended up getting bald spots and a few hot spots from itching. It appeared that the Dinovite actually seemed to dry his skin out and he developed dermatitis which he had never had before.

I gave the rest of the Dinovite to the friends who said they liked it and do use it. This product did not work for us and actually made it worse.

Not for my cats

By Dianna B, Phoenix, AZ, Verified Reviewer

My two white cats had stiff fur and one had a chronically bloody chin. The vet said that the chin was "typical" for a male cat.

I started feeding them Dinovite in January. The chin cleared up and the fur improved. But, at the same time, I noticed a marked increase in water consumption. After three months on the Dinovite, the water consumption kept increasing until the two of them were consuming four times as much water as before I had given them the Dinovite. When I took them to the vet, he said that they were both in kidney failure.

I discontinued the Dinovite and reported the reaction. They would not refund any money, and they claimed that no one else had reported this happening.

I started giving my cats some kidney support special food and special renal support "treats" to keep them alive. I have been able to stabilize them. Their water consumption is still the same, and if I forget to give them their renal support treat, they start exhibiting kidney failure symptoms almost immediately.

I do NOT recommend this product!
