Kota

By Rita S., Milwaukee, WI, Verified Reviewer

Kota received his new food with gusto like I had never seen in him before. He was like one of those dogs in the commercials where they behave as if they are starving to death. But, this was real, and I know he had already eaten and wasn't starving in the least! He just really liked it, and still does!

My picky eater loves and looks forward to eating!

By Ginger T., California, Verified Reviewer

Way too expensive but my 60-pound dog actually gets excited at meal times now. In the past, I had to hide surprises in her food and bug her to get her to eat. What a change. Her coat is shiny and skin is less flaky. New and improved dog. Thank you.

Perfection

By Liza C., California, Verified Reviewer

All 3 of my dogs love the taste! Great ingredients and fast delivery. I wish it was more affordable. I served it plain and then with other food and they gobbled it up from the first time I gave it to them. I hope Dr. Marty comes out with treats and perhaps wet food as well!

Excellent product

By Sandra D., New Jersey, Verified Reviewer

I am very pleased with your product for my dog, Pepper. I have peace of mind knowing she is getting a healthy healing diet. I can tell it is having a positive effect on her digestion. When I was feeding her another food that was supposed to be the healthiest on the market she was gaining weight and bloated around her belly. When I started her on your product she lost the belly bloat and some weight with increased energy and playfulness. Thank you for a great product.

Picky eater

By Jeanne B., Oceanport, NJ, Verified Reviewer

My dog Lulu is extremely hard to please as far as her food is concerned. I've had her nearly 6 years and I always wonder if she'll eat what I've put out for her on any given day. Since I've been mixing in the Nature's Blend she seems more willing to eat her food. Lulu is a sweet rescue with a mind of her own. At this point, Dr. Marty seems to be hitting the mark! Yay!

Annie - never misses a meal

By Kristina V., Maryland, Verified Reviewer

Annie, my sweet, almost 11-year-old, cocker spaniel was suffering with allergies and had just completed a course of Cytopoint (30) from our vet. Annie started licking her right front paw to the point that it needed to be shaved, she began a course of steroids and the dreaded "cone" to keep her away from further aggravating it. During this time I found an advertisement online for your food, Nature's Blend. I ordered 6 bags and started to give it to Annie. She gobbled it up. For an older dog, Annie still is puppy-ish in the way she plays and runs, but she is even more animated and energetic with Nature's Blend. The biggest difference I have noticed is that Annie (who was always a "prolific pooper") has fewer and smaller poops maybe because she is utilizing all of the nutrients in her food and therefore there is less waste?

I have recently signed up for automatic monthly delivery and will continue to feed Annie Nature's Bounty as long as I can afford to.

Thank you Dr. Marty!

Nature's Blend and my Chihuahua

By Joan M., Florida, Verified Reviewer

I adopted my Chihuahua, Cocoa, from Bichon and Little Buddies Rescue in Wisconsin. She was just under 2 years old. I was her 5th owner, and she came with many quirks. One of these quirks, she will not eat dog food! I would buy her canned food only to throw it away when she would not touch it. A small bag of fog food would last over a year. She would only eat a bite occasionally. Everyone said to put the food down and she will eat it. No, she won't! She always wanted what I was eating. Raw carrots sliced very thin, bell peppers, cooked vegetables and finely cut up meat.

I saw a video about Dr. Marty and his dog food and I thought I would try it. The first time I made it for her, she was jumping on my leg impatiently waiting for the dog food. When I put it down for her she ate every bit of it! A huge success! All went well for a week. Then she stopped eating it. I had to throw away a dish of her food. Believing Nature's Blend is a healthy choice, I continue to feed it to her, and she will eat it when she gets hungry enough.

She is 9 years old and had been slowing down a bit. She is acting a bit younger, jumping up on furniture easier. She needs to lose half a pound and I'm hoping she will lose it on Dr. Marty's dog food. She is eating it somewhat reluctantly, but she is eating it!

Great and easy

By Stacey M., Portland, OR, Verified Reviewer

My 11-pound terrier is a very picky eater and would get tummy troubles and do the boot scoot. He just seemed uncomfortable. Since switching to Nature's Blend, he hasn't been scooting and he just seems overall more comfortable. Loves the food and has not gotten tired of it! I did a very slow transition from his old food and it worked like a charm! My only wish is that are more servings in the bag to last a little longer. It is a little spendy, so I value the deals.

So far so good!

By Anna B., College Grove, TN, Verified Reviewer

Our Siberian husky is a little over a year old now. She was diagnosed with a rather significant zinc deficiency when she was about four months old. In addition to obviously trying to provide her with healthier food that would fulfill all her nutritional needs, I was hoping to see improvement in two specific categories.

1. Willingness to eat the food! I had tried countless different food options trying to find one that she wouldn’t turn up her nose to. Without fail, SHE WOULD REFUSE TO EAT EVEN A BITE! The only thing she would eat was the cheap grocery store food that my vet equates to feeding her a Big Mac. So I started prepping her meals just like I did for us! Salmon, chicken, appropriate veggies, etc. It had begun to feel like a full time job, not to mention I really had no clue if I was feeding her appropriately sized portions of each food given the fact that she was a growing puppy whose needs were constantly evolving! I was completely OVER IT!

2. Dermatologic Issues were also a full-time job in and of themselves! Her coat had begun to thin significantly and was also beginning to look dull. She was constantly scratching, and even worse she had begun chewing incessantly on her poor little paws that were ALWAYS IRRITATED and red (often resulting in the need for medical intervention). The vet put her on Apoquil to help with the itching, as well as the 3 zinc pills I was already giving her for her deficiency. When things would ultimately lead to having to be on a steroid and antibiotic for the infections that would result, I was constantly GIVING HER MEDICINE! On top of that I was trying everything from the wipes, shampoo, and mouse that Duoxo makes to prevent further skin irritation/infection! We had the conversation with our vet about putting her on a special diet for dogs with allergies, which at that point just seemed like more work!

That’s when I decided to do my own research and I came across your product. It all seemed to make sense to me, so why not try it!? Anything was an improvement from what I was dealing with! And thankfully, the very first night SHE ATE HER WHOLE BOWL OF FOOD. In fact, she scarfed it down so quickly I was worried it would make her sick! INSTANT SUCCESS with our main concern of willingness to eat the food! After about 2 weeks, I began to notice an improvement in her coat. By the time we went to the vet for her 1-year check-up, the vet even commented (unprompted) on the obvious change! The only remaining issue is the skin on her paws. We did ultimately have to give her a 2nd dose of steroids and antibiotics to get her over the hump (as her condition was pretty advanced), but now that she’s been off it for about a week I’m not seeing her regress. While she does still have some obvious irritation that’s healing, I’m hopeful the change of food has helped! Only time will tell, but we are extremely hopeful!

I only have one suggestion/request. I would LOVE the option to buy a larger bag! It seems wasteful and silly to constantly have to order the smaller bags. Think of all the saved packaging!

"Can I eat NOW?"

By Bob G., Pennsylvania, Verified Reviewer

Prior to using Dr. Marty's Nature's Blend, my dog (Gracie) would go to her dish, smell the food I had placed there, and walk away until she got so hungry she had to eat. From the first time I used Nature's Blend, which I do mix 1/2 and 1/2 with dry dog food, Gracie now cannot wait until dinner time. Now, she generally will come to me an hour before dinner, sit in front of me and stare with that "Can I eat NOW?" look. Once I do put the Nature's Blend food in her dish, her head does not come up from eating until the dish is not only empty, but sparkling clean! I am a convinced, loyal customer!

The most particular dog there is (not anymore), he loves everything

By Arthur S., San Jose, CA, Verified Reviewer

My dog Tagg is finally eating without coaxing, the salmon treats are his favorites, his vitality is alarming, it's hard to keep up with him. (A new dog.) From the day he arrived at our home he has put up his nose at everything he was offered except human food, which is not good for him. We couldn't break him from that food until he got a whiff of Dr. Marty's dehydrated food, it's all systems go now, he's finally on a good steady diet of the proper nutritious food.

Thank you.
