Dr. Marty Nature’s Blend

I would recommend this food because it is the highest quality dog food you can buy. The only thing better would be if you hand-made your dog's food every day and used the same quality ingredients. Since I don't have that kind of time, I am so happy this is available! While it is expensive, so are health problems caused by poor diets!

I have never had any problems with the customer service on ordering or on deliveries but I have never tried to return anything. Bottom line...excellent quality product and the dogs like it!

My old girl, Flanny, loves this food. She consumes it with gusto. At first, I wasn’t sure how she was responding but I think she just had a couple of tired days coincidentally. Old doggies are allowed to do that. She seems less bloated, maybe a bit perkier, in general. We’ve only swapped out half her regular food for Dr. Marty’s food. I would without hesitation switch 100% to Nature’s Blend if it were less expensive. Maybe someday...

I have a Rot/Pit/Boxer mix, she has a bladder tumor so we thought this would be great to add to her food. She will NOT touch it but if we give her just her food she eats like nobody's business, so we know it's not something health-wise that's curving her apatite. Sadly she just hates this food and due to her having a tumor it's beyond important that she's eating and drinking regularly. We will have to send this all back. Very disappointing.

My Yorkie is extremely picky and I was feeding Hunter a high-quality (and pricey) diet. He was having recurrent intestinal issues. The vet bill totals for 4 months alone were over $2,000.

The vet recommended Prilosec every day and a prescription dog food for intestinal issues. Only one company makes this “special” food and it is pricey! I avoided further costly vet visits; however, I didn’t think this diet was actually healthy and Hunter’s appetite was still off. (I also got an appetite stimulant, which was just somewhat helpful).

When I read the ingredients in the prescription dog food, I was dumbfounded, especially considering the cost. It contained water, pork and chicken by-products, to start with! (Not what I want to feed my dog!) I was searching for a better, healthier food and I decided to try Dr. Marty’s Nature’s Blend because I believed the nutritional content was a better choice.

Hunter has been eating this for a month now. He loves this food and his appetite is no longer a concern. I also believe Hunter is more active and alert. I also noticed that his bowel movements are firmer and more normal. I totally believe in Dr. Marty’s whole food blend. Hunter hasn’t had any intestinal issues so far and I think this is the best choice for Hunter! I’ll continue to evaluate and think he will continue to benefit! Thank you, Dr. Marty.

I suppose I am partly to blame for not doing my due diligence prior to ordering this food. Had I read all of the complaints regarding their "money back guarantee" prior to ordering, I never would have fallen into that trap. I returned the food and treats as required, paid my own shipping, but was only given credit for the bags that still had food remaining in them...not the 100% of the purchase price as promised on their website! Buyer beware! Their guarantees are as useless as the food I spent good money on.

My sheltie, DJ, has always had sensitive skin. I had found a kibble that didn't make him itch and had fed it to DJ most of his life. Then, the dog food manufacturer decided to discontinue that particular item. I was in a panic, and DJ was back to non-stop scratching. He was miserable! And so was I. I tried him on a raw food diet, home-cooked diet, limited ingredient diet, etc. Nothing worked. And then I tried Dr. Marty Nature's Blend. I sprinkle a couple of tablespoons of pre-soaked Nature's Blend on his lamb and rice kibble (which did not stop the itching on its own) and within a couple of days he was more chipper and seemed happier, but still itching. I kept him on it and in about a month I suddenly noticed - he wasn't itching - at all! No more hair clumps all over the house and he was resting so much more comfortably. I was amazed and so thankful! Three cheers for Nature's Blend!

We live in Annapolis, Maryland about 5 miles from the United States Naval Academy. A while ago, we lived inside the "Yard" and that’s why we named our new Cairn Terrier, Moorgreen’s Archibald of Bancroft by the Severn. A pretty fancy name for a devilish little dog.

We believe that our pets are members of our family and should be treated (and fed) lovingly, healthily, carefully. Therefore, when I read about and researched Dr. Marty’s dog food and treats I decided to take a chance and buy his food.

I followed the instructions for introducing the food to Archie. Not only did it work well but it worked fast. It only took a week and a half for Archie to live his "meal" food and his treats.

I am very happy that I took the chance and spent the money to help Archibald, my little boy, live a long and healthy. The only thing that would make me happier is if Dr. Marty’s healthy culinary delights would make my little cairn devil behave a little better!

Our dogs love the handful of Dr. Marty’s Nature’s Blend we give them twice a day. As a matter of fact, one of our dogs will not start eating until his Dr. Marty’s Nature’s Blend food is on top of his regular kibble!

The reason I gave this food only 4 stars is due to its very high cost. As retirees, we simply cannot afford more than a handful added to the dogs’ regular meal. Wish we could, though...they love it!

I was surprised by how much my dogs loved this. Was looking for something healthier for our older dogs. Wow - got our dogs crying for it. Our 16-year-old chihuahua jumping up and down for it. Crazy but true!

Dog loves food. She can hardly wait while it is being softened with water for three minutes before she eats. Doesn't smell bad. Also noticed that with regular food we would have to give her a bath once a week or more because of odor as she would start to smell but with Dr. Marty two weeks and no strong smell. It is amazing how much better she is with odor.

Our dog, Pepper, now jumps at the food bowl when it is being handed down. Have to be careful not to let it be tumbled out of our hands. She is excited to get her Nature's Blend from Dr. Marty's. We haven't put our 5-month-old puppy on it yet, as, it would be pure chaos around here.
