A hacker got into an email account of an organization that I deal with, which in turn infected my computer. I had no idea how to remove it, but I ran numerous malware and virus detection programs to no avail.

I saw a commercial on TV about FixMe Stick and it just made sense to me. I picked one up the next day and so far - it seems my computer problems were solved!

An effective solution to a virus problem. A lot better than a new computer with the cost of the computer and installing programs. The only drawback that in this day of WiFi having to have an ether for updating is a problem. Otherwise, I love it.

Thought it was worth risking $10 to try. But was more than pleased when it brought our old dead laptop back to life. Saves us having to smash it up and disposing of it. FixMeStick customer service representatives are all wonderful and helpful whenever I have called them. They totally fix my problems without excuses or shoving the problem back at me. I was experiencing problems with my FixMeStick. The technician that was assisting me instructed me on multiple ways to overcome the problem. The technician kept in contact with me to continue to resolve the problem. It was very fulfilling to be able to work with such a caring and knowledgeable group of people. When the technician I was working with could not answer my needs, she contacted someone else to get their input. I feel that I was treated with respect. They really value their customers.

I purchased the device with the purpose of cleaning all the malware and trojans out of my system. It appears to have done that with the exception of the trojan CHROMIUM. I have tried many ways to get rid of it to no avail and hoped the FixMeStick would do it.

So far no luck.

Arrival time was fairly good. Purchased two - one for use on Microsoft and one for Mac. Seems both came with both so this really was not stressed and I wasted money where it was not required. Works very well on Microsoft but will not start on the Mac. Very disappointed. And feel somewhat taken by the marketing dept - I would have thought that Amazon would have checked some of their sales to be as advertised.

This is a scanning program with a time limit and I don't know if I would recommend. Bit of a bad taste at this point. Order -446 not working for Mac.

A couple of years ago I had purchased the stick. As with many items when loaned out it was lost.

When I saw again on HSN the stick I immediately purchased a replacement. I knew it was thorough and glad to purchase another.

I initiated the first scan when I was leaving the apt for the day. I waited until it told me it had control and I wouldn't be needed until the end.

After updating the stick and malware, it was off and running. I saw an estimated time to full scan to be a little over an hour. During this time I received an email saying welcome and any questions to reply or actually call a phone number. I shut it down when I got home and saw no infections listed. I received another email saying congrats on my first scan and it being clean.

I shall do a scan each month as recommended. Just plug and go. So easy and a real no brainer.

I have a Dell laptop which crashed with BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) last summer. My mother bought some of these as Christmas gifts for us kids, I figured that it would never work. So finally my tablet was outdated, so I tried putting one in. WOW, it took about an hour with a few easy steps, it was fixed! Seriously, it fixed it...that fast. Hats off to you. Thanks.

I have a 10-year-old Windows computer that was running dreadfully slow. I saw FixMeStick in our local Best Buy and thought I would try it out...it was a lot cheaper than a new desktop.

After almost 10 hours of scanning +600K files, the FixMeStick detected and deleted over 10 malware viruses.

My computer runs like a charm and is no longer painfully slow...

Does the job every time. If there was a downside, on my computer it almost takes two hours for a full scan. But in the end, the results are always worth it. So start the scan and go shopping and when you return, everything will be done. Delete the bad stuff and you're good to go.

A couple of years ago, one of my laptops acquired a serious problem that whoever created it wanted an x amount of bitcoin to repair it. I did not take the bait as I had other computers that I could use to continue my daily work. A few weeks ago I uncovered my old laptop under some misc paperwork and I wondered if my FixMeStick could remove the virus. Low and behold, after about four hours FixMeStick had removed the virus and now my old laptop works just like it originally did. I've owned this product for several years now and run a complete system scan once a month. It detects malware, spyware, adware which other apps failed to detect. It's quite easy to use and is clearly designed to require minimal technical knowledge of computers. What's particularly advantageous about this product is that since the computer is booted from the USB flash drive containing it, FixMeStick loads its own operating system, so that any malware on your system can't be active (since your regular OS hasn't loaded and the malware isn't running and can't defend itself from eradication attempts).

What stands out about this product is the technical support. In an age in which so many apps and hardware are poorly supported whenever anything goes wrong, the folks selling this product have developed excellent technical support. You may not receive an immediate response, but I've always received a fairly quick response - a matter of a few hours or at worse, the next day, if you contact them on a weekend. The one time that I encountered a piece of adware that it wouldn't get rid of, they called me at home, stepped me through permitting them remote access to my system, and took care of clearing the unwanted adware manually as I watched the process unfold on screen. They fixed the problem and I learned a bit more about clearing malware from them. I've always found them generously responsive to technical questions.

In an age in which poor technical support is all too common, this company stands out as bucking the trend.

As an afterthought - I recommended this product to an office colleague, who purchased it and ran it on her system. She reported to me that it found and eliminated dozens of instances of malware, spyware, adware, and other assorted undesirable apps on her system.
