I will use again. Super fast shipping as well. We were enjoying our purchase in a couple of days. Thank you. We purchased Bib & Tucker Small Batch.

Ok, so I just placed an order for a bottle of Aviation Gin. The order arrived promptly and undamaged, so 5 out of 5 stars for that. Now my initial signup I am a bit more disappointed in. I have been waiting three weeks now and still haven't seen my first box, and getting them to respond back to emails is like pulling teeth. For this, they get a 1-star review and I will not be recommending them to others.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Allow us to provide some insight. Shipping alcohol is an extremely complex process. By now, we are well versed at handling unexpected delivery issues and fluctuations in state laws so there is no disruption in the quality of our service. Recently, though, we’ve experienced several such issues at the same time, which has made resolving them efficiently a lot trickier. This, in turn, caused shipping delays, longer transit times, and issues with order tracking. The rise in outreach that followed slowed down our response time.
While significant progress has already been made, it will take a little longer until we can catch up to the high standard of service you deserve and we aim to provide. Rest assured that we are working around the clock to get this solved as soon as possible. We ask and thank you for your trust and patience during this tumultuous period!
If your order isn’t with you by now, know that we are doing our best to have it delivered as soon as possible. We hope you’ll give us another chance once the dust settles.

KORNOG is the most satisfying Peated MALT outwith Scotland that I have ever had the pleasure of opening a bottle.
This French or Breton Distiller takes every detail to create a superb whisky - I look forward to Flaviar having some of his other whisky to try.

I had fun searching the site and seeing all the different types of spirits, found a good selection of scotch, bourbon and other spirits to choose from at great prices, my order was delivered quickly with no issues, can't wait to place my next order.

I do appreciate 2 main things about Flaviar.
#1 - Their light, funny and engaging communication style.
#2- Their classy web design and packaging stuff.
Their lineup is rather broad and consistent.
Need time to get further acquainted.

This is the worst experience I have had with a company. One our order didn’t ship, then we receive an item we didn’t order and the invoice was for someone else. Now another person has our order and somehow found our information and has been contacting me and my family to get his bottle. And now there is no response from Flaviar. Now this random person has my phone number and address. This is a huge breach of privacy. This is pathetic and a waste of time and money.

I highly recommend Flaviar for their selection of whisky and customer service. It takes a little time for the delivery but it is well worth it. The Tasting Boxes are beautifully presented and are great fun.

Flaviar failed to ship three packages to me. Three packages in a row. Two of which were my quarterly shipments and I at this point have only been a member for two quarters.
I asked for a refund (for the six months that I would not be using) and they said no.
Flaviar is a massive rip off. They'll happily take your money and provide Comcast level customer service. Well, actually, it's worse than that.
DO NOT DO IT.

The club has wonderful tasting boxes with various hard-to-get bottles (e.g. Chichibu limited editions, Yamazaki 18, Hibiki 17, etc) which allows enthusiasts to get a taste of these magic elixir. I also love the Flaviar-only limited bottles (e.g. Deer Bear Moose - Linkwood 27 years; Son of a Peat series) - magic for our taste buds.

When I first joined the club, the membership was reasonable, and within a year they asked me to renew (early?). The membership cost was now quite high (went from $60 to $210), but with the quartlery discount credits, it was not unbearable. Plus, it still gave me a way to try out new whiskeys that I did not have access to at the local liquor store.
However, on my last order, I ordered 2 bottles of new whiskey and used my credits to help with the financial side. As it turns out one of the bottles was out of stock (no notice given), so they decided it was best to cancel it off of my order. It would not have been such a disappointment, if they had let me keep my quarterly discount. However, they had me pay full price for the one item that was in stock. The refund that they gave me was only for the out of stock item MINUS my discount. So in essence, they took my discount away, with no explanation, and simply said sorry. When I explained to them that this was not really a great business practice, and that I would not be willing to do business with a company that treated their customers in such a way, they basically just thanked me for my input. No aplogies, no recompense.
Consequently, I canceled my membership (no refund) and will not be referring Flaviar to anyone I meet. In fact, I will let everyone know my experience, so that they will not fall prey to their bad business ethics.

It's true that one bottle was refunded; we understand how frustrating it can be when stock issues occur! This being said, the entirety of the store credit used for your order was returned to your Flaviar account ($45). This amount, plus your latest renewal, remains available on the account. You turned off auto-renewal for your account, but your benefits will remain available until April and we'd love to help you get the most out of your time with us!
Concerning the membership cost, a few months after your membership started, we launched a new membership tier and invited existing members to upgrade. The membership came with additional benefits, including the bottle credits that we are referencing today. The difference in price was because your membership length upgraded from quarterly (90 days) to annual. Upgrading was entirely optional and we tried our best to make clear that the upgrade process would only take place at your own discretion.

I LOVE this company called Flaviar! I've gained a vast knowledge about the liquors I love to drink, learning, using tasting cards with my samples open up a new world of flavor. Having the opportunity to purchase items I couldn't find. Keep up the great work!
