The mashed potatoes were great, taste like fresh, my wife could not believe it. As well as many of the other products. Waiting for lower pricing on the freeze-dried chicken and beef to try them in the soups.

I have tried many different brands of survival food that make a lot of claims on how good the taste is, but I could not work with their products, they were more salt based and just could not get the taste I was looking for.

When I tried Food 4 Patriots the first time, I could tell the way the product was made I could work with it. I do add and change the product to suit our taste. And that is why I only use Food 4 Patriots now. Every one of the products have exceeded my expectations when I received my first shipment.

Finding a product that I could use out camping or in emergency situations, we have tasty food that is a comfort when times are bad.

I ordered and got my order but mostly breakfast items, and I did not receive any of the free gifts either. I was supposed to get 3 free 72-hour kits, 4 library books, and a $25 gift certificate with each order that I did not receive. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.

Not very happy. Customer service is impossible to get in touch with. Even after waiting on hold for 90+ minutes. Numerous times. The only time I did get to speak to someone was when prompted for sales and was able to get help from someone that could help with customer service. Otherwise, a sales agent is no help except to take your money. My first order was two 4-week boxes. I received one. I also was supposed to get two 72-hour meal packages. I was told I would get a replacement 4-week food box...no replacement has been received. No email to confirm either. I had also ordered two more 4-week boxes for a 4th of July sale. Also, no email confirmations until I actually got a person on the phone. But no shipping confirmation emails. Also no links for the online free books I was supposed to get. $200+ in free stuff...I got a solar kettle. Was supposed to come with cocoa and coffee. I did receive the two boxes I ordered for the holiday sale but still no replacement box from my first original two box order. I had a half dozen people wanting to order food. Not so much after what I am going thru. Tried email. They even have a "call you back" now when you call customer service...after you wait 20 minutes. I'd just like my 4-week supply of food. The cocoa and coffee and 72-hour food packs would be nice too. I guess I'm gonna have to look elsewhere for food. I am a patriot. Truly thought I was doing business with a patriot. Yes...I understand all the chaos that is going on.

I have ordered from Food 4 Patriots two times and each time my order arrived in two to three days. I have prepared the Blue Ribbon Creamy Chicken and Rice, and also the Liberty Bell Potato Cheddar Soup. These two items are very tasty, and my son and grandson were very impressed.

Most of the items are good for twenty-five years, and some items are good for ten years. I have other food items stored from another company, which are good, but not as tasty.

Call them get a catalog, order and see for yourself.

Regardless, survival requires sustenance, and when the markets are empty, you and yours must have a plan. This product line can provide that essential part, which is food. And, it doesn't have to be unpalatable MRE's, or hiker food.

I have received several "Free 72-Hour Food 4 Patriots Kits" via emails recently. What you are told is you must pay the shipping and handling. Not until you are on the order page do you see the $14.95 shipping and handling cost for a free $27.00 value Food 4 Patriots Kit. If you go to Food 4 Patriots internet site to order what you would pay for, the site states that shipping and handling is free.

The free kit is three bags; one of eight servings of oatmeal and two of four servings each of the two soups, weighing a total of 39.94 oz for the 16 servings advertised. 72 hours is three days, and that is nine meals for one person and 18 meals for two persons (oops, each person is going to miss a meal). With two people there would be six breakfasts, so someone will be eating oatmeal for lunch or supper.

To pay 55% of the value of a physically small item for shipping and handling is not just shipping and handling but some other charges.

A 72-hour emergency food stash needs to have those three meals each for each person in the household, not a random number of servings. A default minimum number of persons set that would set the number of servings. The previous Food 4 Patriots Kits had four servings of four different soups but no oatmeal for breakfast.

Enough said. This entire 72-hour plan is poorly defined, and the shipping and handling charge is grossly out of the realm. I purchased from Food 4 Patriots previously but not under these terms and conditions.

First, know that I retired over 22 years ago, never been married and live alone about three miles from the closest city. Ever since I retired, I have been accumulating storable food and jugs of water.

Since getting involved with Food 4 Patriots, I have studied their instruction books, purchased many boxes of their non-perishable foods, and I bought their solar system, which is set up on my deck on the south side of the house.

Right now I have adequate supplies for any kind of disaster, and my special thanks to everyone at Food 4 Patriots.

I bought this kit to add to my stockpile of 25-year survival food. I tried a couple of different packs of a 72-hour kit and I am really surprised by the quality and taste of the food. It was at this point I realized this food falls right into my realm of self-reliance, and independence for which I have often been referred to as a loner for one.

This food will be one such tool of self-reliance with the upcoming surgeries for the replacement of both knee joints one at a time. I will stay in my home for both recoveries. The ease of preparation of my survival food will me this process possible on this and other times.

I've been ordering products from Food 4 Patriots for about 4-5 years now and I have to say I finally had my first order error of omitting one protein pouch of a 3 packet sample I wanted to try. I called the company, left them my number for a call back, and they called me back and more than solved the small issue.

Other than that very small error, they have delivered on every order exactly, timely and smoothly! Did you hear that out there folks! I've read some of the reviews and it is not possible to be the same company OR they have a few employees making things tough on them. I stand with them to see them through this tumultuous time.

If some folks don't need, like, or care about certain products offered, then don't buy them or send the emails to spam, but please don't whine on these pages. Fear mongering is my favorite read in these reviews. Again, if you can't handle the line, then send it to spam. I listen to fear mongering every time I turn on CNN or read the WaPo!

The other part I don't understand is why these complainants didn't pick up the phone and call for assistance? I've called several times and always, let me say that again - ALWAYS get assistance, questions answered and even bonus stuff because I ask for it from time to time!

I was originally skeptical so took advantage of a FREE 72 hour kits, just pay s&h. Since then, I picked up 2 more 72 and eventually a 3 month. Most of the food is OUTSTANDING, and what wasn't was certainly decent. Never had an issue receiving product and my only interaction with Support was top notch. You call them "scare tactics" but hurricanes, tornadoes, blizzards, and power outages are REAL. While a bit pricey, it is all they say it is and then some. I recommend them all the time to friends and family.

UPDATED: Company finally, a month later after the BBB's intercession, agreed to refund my order as well as pay the postage to ship items back...hence, honoring their 100% money-back guarantee.

Regarding my original review: As you can see it has been removed by me as unfortunately included in the company's response dated today, 08/04/2020, to my BBB claim I initially filed on 07/14/2020, they have "kindly" requested for me to remove my negative review stating it contained untrue information about their business practices and I quote:

“If this is not removed, we will need to take action as we will not allow anyone to spread inaccurate information about our company across the internet.”

So, while my review according to my experience was not inaccurate, and as I do have pictures to prove my concerns/claims, which are also documented and on file with (including pictures) with the BBB, I have redacted my original experience per their "friendly" request, and of course to avoid them "needing to take action" as honestly, who has time or money for that? I don't, or clearly I wouldn't, have fought a month to get back a few hundred dollars?

Bottom line: I just wanted my money back and their food picked up! I absolutely never wanted to go through hours of emailing and responding to claims, rebuttals, etc. just to get what their guarantee promised...100% money back (requiring customers to pay to ship large totes back due to defective/inaccurate product would in no way be 100% money back IMHO!). That said, I am just glad this experience is over and can only say without hesitation that I definitely will never do business with this company again.

The Food 4 Patriots products are great. They have a respectable amount of sodium (which is significantly lower than many long term storable foods), take up little space, are light-weigh (so easily movable), come in an ideally sized sturdy container, taste very good, and are cost effective. Food 4 Patriots offers a nice selection of very long shelf life food. I have tried at least one each of the entrees, and they are very tasty and easy to prepare. Prices are quite reasonable too.

Their frequent offers of just pay shipping and handling for a sample are the perfect way to get started. No one wants to invest in something they can't stand once they get around to using it. My advice is to take them up on a sample, try it, and then stock up.

They even have coffee now. Even though it's "instant" coffee, I can attest to the fact that it is superb.

In the city, we feel pretty safe from power outages or terror attacks on the power grid, but a loss of power can last for awhile. So, we keep a stash of Food 4 Patriots in the pantry. We also have a farm that is, in a word, remote. If we lose power there, we would be among the last to regain it. So we maintain emergency supplies, and again Food 4 Patriots gives us just what we need; one or two portions, easily prepared with or without power.

All of Food 4 Patriots' food we've eaten was very good. I especially love the banana chips, and keep a bag or two at the office "just in case." And we don't have the worry about trying to get through a large can that won't last long once opened.

Here in California, with the threat of earthquakes, it pays to be prepared.

We keep a couple of weeks worth of Food 4 Patriots on hand just in case. I like the variety you get when you order, and there is something for everyone.

Other parts of the country have different problems, including hurricanes, floods, and tornadoes, so this is good for you too. It lasts a long time, and we pray every day that we don't have to use it unless we want to, not because we need to.

I have bought several survival food orders and an Alexapure water purifier from them.

Each order and shipping date was acknowledged by email and was well packaged. I have tried some of the food, and it is delicious, but I am saving most of it for emergencies, as it is guaranteed for 25 years!
