I signed up and made a payment. The second one is due this week. I am still being harnessed by creditors, especially a loan company from California, still paying them, so they don't auto debit my checking account. Hopefully, in a couple of weeks, they'll call them and negotiate some type of deal.

Freedom Debt Relief came along at just the right time. After the husband's medical problems, then my medical problems and losing my job, things just got to be way too much. The bills were way too much when there was only one income. I’m so glad we saw that commercial on TV. In 48 months we can get back to a normal life. The process was much simpler than I expected. They did all the work, and all I had to do was make a phone call. We are great full to everyone at Freedom Debt Relief for their help.

Having endured five medical necessities, and two hurricanes, it became more clear that my "retirement" wasn't going to be anybody's dream. Constantly worrying about my unplanned early retirement, and trying unsuccessfully to find a solution, I finally filled out a request for an online quote from FDR. I followed up with a phone call to the gentleman who responded to that request. He was knowledgeable, polite, non-judgmental, and got back to me VERY quickly with a solution.

Considering all the fretting I had done, I wish I had contacted them a lot sooner. However, that is water under the bridge, and from here on I am moving forward towards a peaceful retirement.

Nobody ever said life is fair.

When aging began to affect almost every little corner of my life, even invading my moments of peace, the full effect of the unfairness in life hit me full in the face.

I couldn't work because my health was failing me. I had to retire early and rely on SS, which is not sufficient. Medicare is a help but doesn't cover a lot of what I need. Thank God for my husband's income!

Then, life's contradictions began to haunt us when my husband came down with cancer. It was like a tsunami washed over our finances. He was able to get work at home doing computer support Q&A, but that dwindled away also.

Talking with the rep gave me the ability to see past tomorrow and finally have some hope to get things turned around. I have been divorced without child support for five years and everything has caught up with me. I have only experienced Freedom Debt for a month plus. I only find that Freedom does not (as all other similar companies don't) contact the credit card companies promptly. This stall in time allows the credit card company(s) time to add on new late penalties which of course adds more debt to be collected in the future of the contract. Must be looked at!
