I recently signed on with FDR. It was a very rapid and professional experience. I will experience great savings over a four year period. My account input is less than what I was being charged interest on four cards in one month. The initial sales person was honest and informative, another representative confirmed everything the first had stated. They were very thorough with their explanations. Shortly after my first payment, I was contacted via my account dashboard and was informed the legal group would be negotiating one of the cards. So far, I am very pleased with their assistance.

When I first inquired I spoke to Carrie Rowland. She was extremely helpful but I originally thought I did not qualify for the program. Months went by and I continued to look at other programs. Carrie reached out to me in March - five months after our original conversation, with good news - I did qualify. This could not have come at a better time. She was extremely helpful throughout the entire enrollment. She explained in detail what to expect, how to navigate through the system and overall made me feel comfortable with my decision. Having credit card debts that you tried for many years to solve a financial problem somehow could not happen. I tried several different ways to pay my monthly bills but I could not do it. I finally realize I have to seek help to achieve my goal.

Freedom told me to take a court order from my credit card company so they could settle. I took and they never called me or negotiated a settlement. At last minute I called for the third time. They said they would not take my case when they took my money for 4 months. Then I talk to the lawyer they have on my case. He said he was still working on my case. He was supposed to call me on Sunday before to work out details. He never did. I would never go with a debt company again. Depending on your state laws, creditors cannot take your wages or belongings. So just eat credit for 7 years or go bankrupt. Cost lots to do later. Sometimes people have real health issues and have no choice.

At first I thought Freedom Debt Relief was a joke, but when they described the company action plan about paying less on interest, I said let's do it. Which is the most important and smart way to pay less money out the pocket.

So far I am pleased even the IV, only made 1 payment. And am very new. Have had a TBI and bipolar, with SDHD, and have always had a hard time with financial services and maintaining the checkbook; more so now with this brain injury. I find it very confusing and get overwhelmed easily...now being disabled. I only get a small check once a month to live on mostly. Why I got the credit cards I thought to help me maintain an improve my living condition. But you can imagine how quickly I got in trouble with eight different credit cards.

I am pleased I found out about Freedom Debt Relief before things got worse than they are! I called regarding a suit that is pending on me from Bank of America. I was told that I needed to pay the full amount if I could not pay $6,700 up front. I do not have the money so I ended up signing a contract to pay the full amount by your attorneys. I forgot to ask if you contacted Bank of America before the suit was filed. Did you? I just can't see why this suit was filed against me if you were in contact with them.

Philip Ramos did a wonderful job explaining the process of obtaining a loan and providing debt relief. He made the effort to contact us on several occasions. He told us about advantages that the program offers and expectations from creditors throughout the process.

I had received a letter in the mail suggesting that they were going to start taking money out of my bank account. So I called FDR to find out what was happening. What I learned was it was one of my creditors that had settled with FDR and that the money was being taken out of my FDR account, not my personal bank account. It was a relief knowing that FDR was on top of my problems and knew exactly what was happening. Sure made me feel confident that I took the right path to handle this situation.

I always took great pride in paying my bills faithfully and on time each month not really considering the unexpected situations that come up in life at times. I found myself suddenly laid off from work and struggling to pay rent, bills, and necessities of life with unemployment benefits that were nowhere near the paychecks I was accustomed to meanwhile searching every day for a job. If not for the love and kindness of family and friends through the months I truly do not know what I would have done. For nine months I’ve been with FDR I made the regular payments, plus $1000 of extra payments, kept them updated when the first creditor contact me, offering a settlement, they did nothing and the creditor file a lawsuit, FDR and their partners NLLG settled that debt for 100% of the original value and they increased the monthly payment to more than 220% on me for three months.

At this same time, another creditor sent me an email offering settlement for 55% of the debt value, I immediately forwarded the email to FDR, they made no move at all until today, although the offer had a deadline. Toward this negativity from FDR, I contacted this second creditor and managed to settle this debt for 45% of debt value.

All numbers and dates mentioned above are real and can be proved and I urge every debtor to settle their debt with creditors directly without using this disastrous service.

One last proof that this service is not trustable, try to make a negative comment on their Facebook account after few minutes they remove your comment and block you so you can view their account without making comment.

I have just started working with Freedom Debt Relief for about 3-4 weeks and they have been very helpful. They were very helpful from starting the process and my having to add a few more items.
