Whatever

By Ariana , Lulub423@gmail.com

EVERYTHING sticks, even bacon. I'm a chef so I know I'm better off with cast iron. When particles adhere to the surface they are impossible to remove. I can cook on stainless steel with better results.

Did not live up to Sales Pitch

By Linda K Elson, Wichita, Kansas, Verified Reviewer

The eggs stick in the pan. I have kept the heat to medium or lower and ham does not brown. I was promised "Free Shipping". I ordered two pans in order to make the bill high enough. Free Shipping did not happen. I was told that lids would come with the pans. This turned out to be NOT TRUE.

Gotham Steel No Stick Pan

By Dave, Vancouver, BC, Verified Reviewer

I received my pan in the mail almost 8 weeks after being ordered. They said they where out of stock.

Anyway, after using it a few times and cooking back bacon in a dry pan, found the sugars from the bacon browned and was very hard to clean. Have also cooked dry egg omelets and found to have the same problem of cleaning up the pan after use.

The pan cooks food very fast and doesn't need as much heat too cook. The pan retains heat very well.

Not as advertised

By A K , Miami, FL

The pan is just ok. When I fry eggs I can never just spin them around in the pan, they stick, everything sticks. May be I have a defected fry pan. Cleaning is easy, but everything doesn't just wash off without a lot of elbow grease.

Gotham Steel Frying Pay does not perform as advertised.

By William Bruno, Pittsburg, MO, Verified Reviewer

I purchased a 9.5 inch Gotham Steel frying pan and used it as recommended, on low heat, never above 5 on my electric stove. I had just cooked some bacon, then cleaned the pan, and was going to fry a couple of eggs. When I broke the eggs in the pan, they stuck to the bottom, and I had to make scrambled eggs in stead. Now when I cook bacon, it sticks to the bottom of the pan as well. So it seems that if you cook any greasy food, and then try to use the pan as advertised, it does not work.

False advertising for Gotham Steel Frying Pan

By Leon Struck, Boca Raton, Florida, Verified Reviewer

I purchased my pan from Amazon.com and used it as was advertised, without a spray. The fried eggs stuck to the pan, and were totally inedible. I put in a call to Gotham's customer service to complain, but was given the run around, and no satisfactory explanation as to why the pan did not work.

My biggest annoyance is that Gotham is giving the consumer false advertising. Their customer service assistant tried to tell me that the heat was too high, this was NOT the case, because I have a gas cook top and cooked the fried eggs on a low to medium heat. This frying pan is total rubbish, and does NOT work as advertised.

For the chef to endorse it is a total laugh. He knows as well as I do, that the pan does not work without some sort of spray. I was given the run around, and no one of authority could answer why the pan does not work! Do NOT buy it under any circumstances. Bottom line, it is a total waste of money!

Quality

By AnnMarie LaRocca, New Jersey, Verified Reviewer

Purchased the Gatham Steel Pan a few months back. I liked it the first few days, but when I tried to go without oil or butter my food stuck. Also, I have noticed scratches and I'm not rough with it. It's better than my older none stick pans but not as durable as they say.

No free pan

By Donald Heichel, Walkerton, IN, Verified Reviewer

The TV commercial said buy one and get one free. This is about them lying and sending too many items that we did not order. They sent us 3 and we paid for all three. We have already sent one pan that we did not order back and expect a refund on two, since we were told one was free. We made at least 5 calls now to no avail. Next is the BBB. Send us our money now. Thank you.

Gotham Steel Pan

By Susan, Morrisville, PA, Verified Reviewer

I received the Gotham Steel 9.5 pan as a gift for my birthday. I was very disappointed when it arrived. The outside of the pan was bent on 1 side and a big deep scratch on the outside. Not happy about the way the pan was delivered. How do I return it for another one in better shape? It was never used.

Non-stick did not last

By Jean Addison, Verified Reviewer

The pan I got was wrapped on the bottom and did not sit flat on my cook top. The non-stick feature lasted about 3 months. A disappointment.

Sticks

By Lawanda , TN, Verified Reviewer

Received it in May, worked good for 3-4 dishes. Now pan starting to stick, burns food while cooking. Tiny black spots on the bottom that won't come out.
