I purchased an 8-piece Gotham cookware set on December 13th. I used a hand mixer to whip mashed potatoes, which resulted in finish being scratched to bare metal. According to advertising, metal utensils are okay to use. I would like to argue that point. Please respond!

When I first purchased this pan and used it, it worked magically! I purchased because my son loves to cook (17 years old) and I assumed it would make it a bit easier for the newbie cook. It did not require oil to cook an egg or my potatoes. After a month of using, that quickly changed! Eggs stick, got crusty on the pan, and the same for anything I’m cooking. I followed the instructions on how to clean precisely and this nonstick pan is nothing more than just another pan that sticks if not using oil. If you are thinking of purchasing this, don’t waste your money.

I have purchased two Gotham Steel frying pans. I have never used metal utensils or whisks in the pans nor have I scrubbed them, but both have started sticking after about a year. It would be nice if Gotham Steel had a replacement policy on them since they are charging at least $20 a pan.

I am sorry to say that I purchased two of these pans, a small one and a larger one. I "seasoned" them both as instructed. The very first time I used them, the food stuck. I did not cook at an overly high temperature and still everything sticks, even cooking hamburger or bacon! I work at a retail store where these are sold, and when asked about these pans, I have to truthfully say that they are a waste of money. My husband was a chef, and so he knows good cookware. These pans do NOT perform "as seen on TV."

Very unhappy with the pan. I got it for husband for Christmas for he likes pretty eggs for his breakfast. He warmed some vegetables and meat one evening and it has not been good for his eggs again. He put it away and got his old pan out yesterday. Christmas gift didn't last long enough for the money.

I bought two Gotham Pans right before Christmas from Fox Deals and the large pan is now sticking and scratched. I have always used plastic utensils and no steel wool or any other abrasives.

At first they were great, but will never buy them again.

Well...we had a great pan for about a month or so..and then it sticks. We kept the heat down on our foods, never scratched it with SOS pads or metal spatulas. I am not pleased with it as it is just the same as most other pans. I will not buy another.

I saw these pans advertised on TV and decided to try them. As shown they do not scratch, BUT food sticks to the pan even with oil I have to scrape eggs off, ruining the dish. This is very annoying. I use the pans to broil things in the oven, and they are great for this, just can't make eggs, pancakes nor a variety of other dishes. Very frustrating.

I could not wait to get the pan to fry my eggs...eggs stuck to the pan! I had to put butter in the pan to flip the eggs. I would not recommend it to a friend, does not work as advertised.

We've been in an apartment for three years and the 10 and 12" skillets have the middle paint on the bottom worn off causing hot spots in the middle that are now stained and food stuck even with spraying Pam or butter. I went out and replaced them with heavy steel pans.

The pans that get delivered to your home do not work like the pans they show on TV advertisements. I was fooled and my pans are black and I cannot clean them. I paid way too much for these pans.
