Positive results for me!

By Rebecca M., Big Rapids, MI, Verified Reviewer

I bought a set of 2 Gotham Titanium pans over a year ago to take to Florida for the winter because rentals usually have such poor kitchen amenities. My pans at home are All-Clad and Cuisinart. I never expected the great ability these Gotham pans displayed!

As directions explain, you can never use pan spray and never use on high because the titanium heats high. I've had lots of perfectly browned fish, bacon, and tenderloins. My egg scrambles with lots of cheese are even easy to clean up.

I recently bought a sheet pan (which you can use in the oven to over 400°) for one-pan meals. Crispy brussels sprouts, potatoes, and sliced pork tenderloins are a favorite.

I have no idea how these reviews are so negative.

I bought sets for my children. The only time there was a problem was when daughter headed rules when in a hurry: high heat, scraping then scrubbing and also granddaughter used spray for eggs. Pan was never the same.

I'm giving 5 stars for this product!

Amazing

By Tami T., Seattle, WA, Verified Reviewer

I love these pans, they are what the advertisements says...NON-STICK! I am proficient in burning everything...EVERYTHING...I can burn water if you'd let me...but these pans make it extremely hard for me to burn anything. Seriously, the only hype in the commercial is you can use metal utensils...I'd say DON'T. They scratch...but other than that, I'm in love and looking for a larger pan.

Great Customer Service

By Ruth P., Kalamazoo, MI, Verified Reviewer

Luckily, I tried calling again and this time I was able to talk with customer service. They were great and they're sending me the pan I originally ordered free, plus I can keep the pan they sent by accident, and they offered me a 5% discount for their mistake.

Gotham Steel Pro pans are freakin' awesome!

By Peter H., Marysville, WA, Verified Reviewer

Note that this is for the GS Pro pans, not the standard GS pans! The packaging says they are different products. Well, the title kind of says it all. I've had virtually every type of non-stick pan made by mankind. Why? Because most of them ended up in exactly the right place; the trash! However...I found the GS Pro pans at Costco a couple or three months ago. It was the "Pro" in the title that tweaked my curiosity. Marketing, yeah it works on me sometimes. Well, the pans specifically said that they would work on induction cooking systems, a first for non-stick pans that I've found. I took them home and couldn't wait to give them a try.

My wife and I like stuffed hash browns in the morning. The difference is that I like cheese on mine and she doesn't. I put a substantial amount of cheddar cheese on half the hash browns and, wait for it, flipped the hash browns in the pan, waited about 30 seconds and flipped it again. Wow! It was like a TV show! They came out absolutely beautifully! My side had cheese toasted into the potatoes and the wife's didn't. And hey, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING STUCK! I cussed my other pans every time I used them. They stuck like an IRS assessment!

So here I am a couple or three months later and still NOTHING STICKS! These pans are a joy to use. Ok, maybe it's me. I always hand wash my pans with a sponge pad, not a scratchy pad, and a small amount of dishwashing liquid. It doesn't matter if you burned the crap out of supper, they WIPE clean, just like the TV ads! Although they are "dishwasher safe" I choose to wash them in the sink; it takes all of about 15 seconds in the sink. I make sure that I DO NOT USE METAL UTENSILS! EVER. In fact, the instruction sheet that came with the pans specifically says no metal utensils. I use them on a moderate heat, lower than about 80% on my induction cooktop. When not in use, I keep a fabric separator between them so they won't get scratched by the other useless cookware in the cupboard. They work as well today as they did 3 months ago and I use them every day.

Well, that's about all I can say. Would I recommend them? Absolutely! I would just add that you should be willing to play by the rules: no metal utensils and don't get rough with them either temperature-wise or rough handling. Cook on! It's hash brown time!

I love these pots and pans

By Stacy P., Chaparral, NM, Verified Reviewer

I bought a complete set of the Gotham Steel pots and pans. I absolutely love theses. I read a lot of negative reviews on them, about how the coating is coming off and or sticking. I only use the set on an electric stove and only on medium heat. That is the only heat you need on them, they heat up very well on this temp. If you read the directions on what heat settings to use them on they will not stick or warp. I have had my set for over a year and they are still like brand new.

Very satisfied.

Frying pan performance

By Stanley L., Saint George's, Newfoundland, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, Verified Reviewer

I bought two of your frying pans. The Large one I really like; it's great, I love it. But the 12.5 is not so great; everything sticks to it and it is hard to clean. I tried calling but with no success. And today I find the wrap from the the small 12.5 pan. I sent pictures of the pan and got no response. I rated two pans as good, one not so good.

Length of Use: 6–12 months

Gotham really surprised me

By Cindy M., Bellaire, OH, Verified Reviewer

I bought a set of skillets because they were on sale at Big Lots with one small dent in the side and I figured they might last a month, but I still have it a year later and they are still in good shape, even after my son has used them and he totally destroys all my skillets. If they last through a year of him using them, then they would hold up to anyone. Lol.

Length of Use: 1–2 years

Pros and Cons

Durable

Easy to clean

Cooks nice

I really like them

By Susan , New Hampshire

I ordered one frying pan because of the ad. I immediately fried up two strip steaks and the pans were fabulous - exactly as advertised. The next morning I made scrambled eggs without any spray or butter or fat of any kind. I couldn't believe that the eggs slide around the pan without sticking. In both instances I was able to wipe the pan clean with a paper towel, making clean up is so easy. The only complaint I have is the rivets that hold the handle in place. Because they are not coated with non-stick coating, the eggs did adhere to that surface. I have the same problem with every non-stick pan I own. Other than that, I love my new fry pan.

Love it

By Sarah, Newark, OH, Verified Reviewer

Have to admit that when I placed the order and was asked if I wanted an additional coating on the pan, I became very skeptical. I also received a phone call a few days before receiving the pan asking me to purchase additional. I told them them I first needed to see if it was as good as advertised. Fried eggs come out just like they show - omelet came out of the pan perfectly. Haven't tried the cheese yet, but from what I've seen I would purchase again.

Pleased But…

By Vito, Palm Harbor, FL, Verified Reviewer

I am very pleased with the overall performance of the pan. However, the pan doesn't sit flat on the stove to which effects the heat the pan evenly. Also, the handle is very uncomfortable to hold. The nonstick performance is excellent. And clean up is pleasure. I do sauté a lot and I notice the finish is coming off the bottom of the pan. If any of those factors mean nothing to you then I would recommend this pan.

Works good for me!

By Belle, California, Verified Reviewer

I purchased the Gotham steel pan and I love it, so far nothing sticks to it. Yes, sometimes you can't just wipe it off but it's an easy clean with water and a soft sponge. I was ready to order the Double Grill but after so many negative reviews I am hesitating now!
