My #1 recommendation to anyone

By Alvie S., Missouri, Verified Reviewer

Since I started taking Total Restore, I have been overwhelmed with the urge to get my cravings for junk food at bay. I have recommended this product to everyone I know, and I hope they take the same step I did to turn my body back into the natural machine it was created to be. Finally, something a person can believe in. The only way back on track for a person is to start at the core, right where Total Restore starts. I believe in this product, and hope everyone will give it a try.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

May 13, 2020. Update:

By Rose T., Michigan City, IN, Verified Reviewer

Sadly the pills are not as I thought. I really don't know if they worked or not. I felt no difference.

So I guess I wasted money on these expensive vitamins. If it's that good I don't think one needs to push it through expensive advertisements but that's just my thoughts after consuming a 6-month supply already. I think tomatoes are not bad. When my health was bad and highly toxic I believe 100% tomato juice was the only product I craved.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Thank the Swami I did not return this product!

By Sonja E., Santa Rosa Beach, FL, Verified Reviewer

I recently experienced a gall bladder/liver "blow" internally, with no "heart attack symptoms" which where I reside is a requirement for gall bladder removal. Mine has been FULL of stones since 2004. On April 13th, it blew. I vomited shiny green circular stones by the handfuls. This was followed by extreme salts released and a major discharge from bile. I passed these stones for more than four weeks, fasting 21 days of it with water only.

I tried other homeopathic measures, nothing was working.

I discovered this product, decided I couldn’t afford it/didn’t want to chance it and asked for a return label. When the product came I was four more days into my hell here so I decided to keep it. As I was extremely leery by now, I tried just one capsule the first. Low and behold, the very next day the discharge had almost completely DISAPPEARED.

And the odor was completely GONE. I have not taken this more than one week at this point, just now increased the dosage to two capsules and I cannot tell you what a complete turn around I have had.

This product is a MIRACLE. I don’t believe anything would have helped with these "leaky gut" issues nor with the healing process of my GI track as all the organs needed attention after such a violent month.

Would I recommend this? ABSOLUTELY, and I won’t ever be without it.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

BEWARE of purchasing products from Gundry MD

By Justin C., New Zealand, Verified Reviewer

I too have been incorrectly charged for purchasing Gundry MD.

I originally ordered one bottle of Gundry MD for $49.95, however, upon checkout, I was prompted to purchase three bottles and a special price of $84.00, to which I accepted.

I then discover that I have been charged for both the single bottle and the special offer of three bottles. I contacted your customer service department who said they will accept my return but I have to pay the freight? Why should I pay for freight when they made the mistake?

I was most disappointed as I accepted their special offer for three bottles that should have canceled the initial order for one bottle - who in their right mind would order both? Beware of the advertising prompts when placing your order - I also strongly suggest you read other peoples frustrations - some purchasers have had their Visa's charge multiple times without authorization.

I have since discovered on the internet that this is a common occurrence. I like to give companies the opportunity to make things right before leaving feedback and reviews. I have tried several times to contact Gundry but they are ignoring my emails.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Justin, I understand your frustration and I want to apologize for the confusion. Our upsells are a promotional price we offer our customers and they are added to the items you have in the cart already. Again, I want to apologize for the confusion and ask that you email me at aria@gundrymd.com and I'd be more than happy to issue you a full refund, no need to send anything back. Looking forward to your reply!

Sneaky return policy... BEWARE

By John D., Ohio, Verified Reviewer

I ordered Total Restore, and took it as directed. I follow the directions to a tee. Now my review is more about the return policy than it is about the product. This product may help people, it just didn't help me.

Having said that, here is where this company insulted my intelligence. I ordered Total Restore, I took it for about 6 weeks. I was not happy with the results and asked how I could start my 100% guarantee. Their first response was keep taking the pills we will give 30 extra days to return the product. I declined and emailed them no thank you, please start my return. Eventually they sent me a email with an attachment to print the return label. So off I go to the UPS store. I send one full unopened bottle, one partially used bottle back. This is at my expense, but I am fine with this. About a week later I receive an email I am receiving $89.90 back to my account. The problem is I paid $134.00. I then email them "Why am I not receiving my full refund!" Here is where I lost all respect for this company. Their reply was I didn't return thier EMPTY bottle back. No where was I informed to keep the bottles in the return policy. You know why? That is a rhetorical question. Luckily for me I kept the empty bottle, but now I have to box this little empty bottle and drive all the way back to the UPS store and pay shipping again.

By the way, they told me after their handlers inspect the bottle, I will receive the rest of my refund. Most of you will realize this little scam, the rest of you GOOD LUCK!

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Hi John, as it is industry standard, we do ask that you return the products if requesting a full refund, as to ensure that you gave the product a fair trial. As an extra convenience, we offer a 40% refund to customers who do not decide to send back the product containers. I am so sorry for the confusion. I will personally ensure you get a full refund; please email at aria@gundrymd.com and I will begin the refund process, no need to send anything back. Again, I want to apologize for the inconvenience. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Total Restore not for me

By Dorothy L., San Francisco, CA, Verified Reviewer

Maybe it’s the magnesium which can be dangerous for kidney compromised patients (which I am not, I am an RN), but I’ve had the worst diarrhea. I tried it for a week or so and had serious problems with gas, etc. Stopped a couple of days and things settled down. Tried again just one capsule and it’s back.

I wish I had researched the ingredients in this product. I see the wisdom behind "leaky gut".

But for me, I can’t keep taking this.

I’ll try the recipes though. For sure.

Capsule size

By Henry L., Las Vegas, NV, Verified Reviewer

I was so fearful that the capsules might be large and I would not be able to swallow them. I am so happy that they were small and easy to swallow. On top of that, they came in a glass container instead of plastic. They really took extra care in producing this product. I am so happy and looking forward to the results of my daily intake. God bless you, Dr. Gundry!

Product was expired

By Cassandra S., Florida, Verified Reviewer

When I got my products they were expired...clearly on the bottle says 2017. I tried calling to get a refund, was basically told I was out of luck. How can you send out expired products that cost a fortune!

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Company Response from Gundry MD

May 14, 2019

Hi Cassandra, thank you for reaching out! I want to note that the date on our products is our manufactured date, not the expiration date. Total Restore is good to take for 2 years after the manufactured date. I hope this provides some clarification but if you have any other questions, please email me at aria@gundrymd.com and I'd be happy to help!

No cravings

By Sandy W., Fitchburg, WI, Verified Reviewer

When I purchased Restore, it seemed like it would be something that could help me curb my sugar habit. I was totally surprised when I started to feel different within a week or so of taking Restore. I actually can stay away from sweet treats (anything from a bag of candy to pie to...you name it. I have THE hardest time keeping an arm's length away from sweets and have for a VERY long time. My grocery list changed. I now purchase celery, grapes, tuna, white chunk chicken, etc.

Seems odd but without even keeping track, my body went that way on its own while using Restore.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Nothing happened. It did make me sleepy. Did nothing for me. I was hoping for the best. I really was. Is this stuff a RIP off? One tally cannot trust anyone anymore. Extremely disappointing.

Be very careful ordering

By Sherri S., Kansas City, MO, Verified Reviewer

My credit card was charged 3 times this morning when I placed an order. My credit card flagged it as fraud. Now trying to cancel. Be leery of companies that turn one order into 3. I won’t be ordering from this company. Received one star since can't do zero.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Hi Sherri, I'm very sorry to read that you were charged more times than intended. It sounds like you may have accidentally signed up for our subscription service - I'd be happy to look into your order and ensure that this doesn't happen again. We would never triple charge your credit card without your approval. Please email me at aria@gundrymd.com and I'd be happy to refund any remaining charges and provide an explanation as to what happened. Thank you!
