HelloFresh has changed dinners in our home. Our kids used to be very particular about what was made for dinner. Everyone had an opinion, and nobody was happy! With the HelloFresh meals, the kids don’t bat an eye at our dinner selection, AND they try everything! Dinners are hassle-free, and mom doesn’t struggle to find something that everyone will eat.

HelloFresh is also perfect for weekend travel to our beach house! We used to try to plan meals and then pack all ingredients. We LOVE the fact that we know everything is already organized in our HelloFresh bag!

We have been using HelloFresh for about a year now. I love it! My husband and I are retired, no kids at home. I was getting SO tired of planning meals, shopping and wasting so much time and food! A lot of folks comment on how they use HelloFresh to learn to cook, but having been a wife and mother for 30+ years I had that down, but I am learning new techniques, new ingredients, and sauces.

The only downside I have experienced is sometimes the fresh ingredients aren't as "fresh" looking as I would like. But whenever I have taken the time to email the company I always got a quick response. I intend to continue as a happy HelloFresh subscriber!

The recipes are delicious, easy to follow, and usually can be completed in half an hour or less. It is wonderful to have a good recipe and all the ingredients at my fingertips.

On the downside, I have had to skip several weeks, much to my disappointment, because my spouse is not a very adventurous diner.

If you are in a rut and feel like you are making the same things over and over, a meal order program is excellent. I need menus that have less than 600 calories and usually can find them, but more would be appreciated. They do overuse green beans, but I generally substitute those out on my own. Some of the recipes are downright delicious. I hardly go to the grocery store anymore, and my grocery bill has been reduced.

We really like HelloFresh. It is a great way to get fresh, unique meals. The directions are easy, and we have fun with the children in the house preparing the dishes together.

My advice is to get the earlier in the week delivery. The produce is freshest at this time. Previously we have had to run to the store at the last minute to purchase another vegetable that had rotted or was simply left out.

The only complaint I really have is that there is not a lot of spice. Anything labeled spicy turns out to be mild, at best. They need to add some real heat to some dishes for true flavor.

All in all, we like HelloFresh and will continue to use it.

Overall, I am pleased with HelloFresh. The recipes offer a nice variety and are easy to make. The directions are clear, and the meals have been fun to cook. It's nice not to have to buy large quantities at the store of ingredients that I only need a small amount of for the given recipe. Occasionally some of the produce has been spoiled.

I have been using HelloFresh for several months now. For the most part, I find the meals relatively easy to make in a fairly short amount of time (usually 45 minutes or less). Some of the meals are better than others, as would be with any meal order plan. They tend to use a lot of potatoes (mostly roasted french fries) as their starch. This gets a little old as my husband doesn't like potatoes. It would be nice if their family plan provided more salads and alternatives to the never-ending potatoes. I understand potatoes are cheap fillers but when you are paying $36/meal, you should have options other than potatoes. I try to avoid the potato meals.

Also, they have some upgraded meals (where you can pay $5 more per person). I bought a strip steak meal and the meat was not a very good cut at all. It definitely wasn't worth the price to upgrade. We did call customer service and they did refund our money. They have also made mistakes like sending the wrong food bag/recipe with the right meat. They are very good at making things right if you call. However, when you are making dinner and open the bag to find the wrong ingredients for what you have planned, things don't go as smoothly. Everybody makes mistakes on occasion so you have to be prepared for that.

All in all, I like the service.

I had many reasons not to join a delivery dinner service, but upon receiving a free weeks worth of meals, I figured I had nothing to lose. Fast forward, three months later, and I'm a huge fan! I can't wait for dinner to arrive on my doorstep!

HelloFresh has saved me countless hours of driving to and from the store, meal planning, and prep, that I'll be a customer for life!

Though, they are not perfect. I have received dinner with missing or spoiled food on more than one occasion, and have had open protein spill into the box (more than one times). So totally not cool in all areas. I suspect they grew faster than anticipated, and will work out the kinks.

Otherwise, dinner is always good, with a fun variety, and fast, easy to make recipes. I have recommended HelloFresh many times, and will continue to do so.

I've been getting HelloFresh for several weeks now and I am really enjoying my subscription. The meals are easy to prepare (even for a non-cook like me!) and taste delicious. The servings are very generous.

The menu is varied; some are excellent, some are middle of the road. Also, it is a good teaching tool as to what portion sizes should look like. It has made me use spices and vegetables I would have never gotten on my own.

The Chicken meal was delicious; I have enough for a whole other meal. I live by myself. I was disappointed, I thought I ordered the steak meal, but instead I got the meatloaf. Can you let them know about the mix-up? I apologize if I'm wrong, but I wouldn't have ordered the meatloaf meal since I can't eat potatoes. Can you please check the order and see if I made the mistake?
