When I decided to place my home for sale, I began looking for a realtor using internet searches and local newspaper ads. I found this process to be time-consuming and lacking detailed information. I then noticed an ad for HomeLight on a TV commercial and decided to contact them.

When we decided to sell our condo, we weren't sure where to start. Friends and neighbors were quick to give recommendations of realtors they knew. We decided to interview a realtor recommended by a friend and another recommended by HomeLight. We are so glad we did.

I first heard of HomeLight while watching CNBC. I looked them up online and was given several choices of local agents. We interviewed Lisa Adragna and were so impressed that we later signed up with her agency Coldwell Banker.

Lisa was absolutely amazing; she showed the house multiple times within the first days and posted photos on the internet site.

Within a few more days we had multiple offers at well above our asking price. We ended up selling for an all-cash offer at above the listing price and closed within one month. I could not be more pleased with the outcome and this outstanding agent.

We loved our realtor and how professional he was. We loved the service we received from HomeLight. Our realtor was very quick to respond to calls and even came out within a day of our first contact to assess our home and put it up for sale. Micheal Thompson was also very informative about the process of selling a home. Whenever we had a question, he was a phone call away. The people in the office were also very knowledgeable and would answer any questions we had if we could not get a hold of Micheal (which was rare).

A job change required me to relocate to the Washington, DC area. It's such a large and varied area. I did not have any contacts to any real estate agents in the DC area, and it was very helpful to have the HomeLight recommendations, much better than just pulling a name out of the air.

In addition to talking with the agents, I also researched them online. I ended up working with an Angela Warren. Angela was very helpful doing initial online searches and then the onsite visits, especially since I was half-way across the country and working full-time. She was also invaluable in negotiating with the seller and her agent on the price and dealing with the results from the inspection report.

She was also a steady voice when the sale of my previous condo fell through, and we had to work through different financing options for the new townhouse. Everything worked out, and unpacking has begun.

We had a very good experience with Homelight!

We were somewhat reluctant to contact Homelight because we were afraid that once we did we would be constantly hounded thereafter. That was NOT the case. We quickly received a cordial reply from the Homelight representative and were given two referrals for local real estate agents. We also received a single email from each of the referred agents.

We subsequently chose one of the referred agents who turned out to be excellent. Our agent was very competent and a pleasure to work with. We had tried to sell our home on two previous occasions without any results. This time was very different due the excellent broker that Homelight referred us to.

Bottom line was that our home was under contract within two weeks. We had an all around top notch experience selling our home. Thank you Homelight!

I contacted HomeLight when we were getting ready to sell our home in Bellevue, in order to downsize to a smaller place nearby. I met with two of the agents HomeLight recommended for us, along with a Redfin agent my daughter had worked with. Both of the HomeLight agents were well qualified and extremely professional. They knew my neighborhood and price range. They each had a slightly different approach to preparation for sale and pricing, but both made a lot of sense. Dan Edwards, in particular, did a great job of follow up regarding the properties available in our new target neighborhood as well.

Dan helped us qualify the houses we were interested in buying and helped us put together a winning purchase offer. We then had him help us get our Bellevue home on the market. He connected us with Zemek Design, who managed the process of prepping and staging our home for sale. Dan was available for questions and advice throughout this process. Dan met with us to discuss listing price more than once, each time updating us on the most recent market statistics and their impact on our sale.

Once our listing went live, we accepted an offer exceeding our expectations within 48 hours. The most interesting part is that the buyer's agent was the other realtor we had met with from HomeLight! So clearly HomeLight was right on target with their recommendations for us and our neighborhood.

Overall I highly recommend the HomeLight service and would definitely use it again if I ever need to find a new agent.
