So like every other review, I also had the pleasure of experiencing their return process.
I tried out the free first box of contacts and found them rather flimsy and irritating. I got a bit busy with life and forgot to cancel my subscription, which obviously was my mistake. That is until I found they had withdrawn $44 from my account one day with no email or warning at all.
I called customer service twice to get it canceled and inquire about the return policy. As per instructions, I returned it through the refusal of the package, and the post office told me the company would be liable for the shipping costs, which I find if the majority of companies. Hubble told me I'd have to cover it (which I did), so hey, at least they did one thing right in informing me beforehand.
Two months later and still no refund. I've sent multiple emails and phone calls. I'll admit, their customer service representatives are nice and patient, but absolutely unhelpful. They told me to contact DHL myself to inquire about WHY the package had not been delivered, and DHL told me to inquire with Hubble. It was a long back and forth process of "we don't know, we can't do anything, how about you just wait and wish for the best?"
Finally, I had the last straw today and sent them an email with how frustrating this entire process has been for me, and requesting that someone guide me to a solution rather than "sorry, you'll just have to wait." I got the $33 refund an hour later.
For two months of chasing and around 20 emails to Hubble, that $33 was really not worth it.
I can't say anything for the product itself since it simply was not suitable for myself, but Hubble will put in the complete and utmost effort to NOT process refunds. If you like the product, go for it, but remember to cancel as SOON as you find they are not comfortable with yourself. Just be prepared for a lengthy hold on your call.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
