Anita does an excellent job presenting matches and following up with me. She is a thoughtful listener and maintains consistent, dependable communication. In identifying my matches, it is obvious she reviews my profile and theirs to make sure we have a good match. So appreciated, and I am grateful that she's my matchmaker.
One con I had was when I went on freeze during COVID, due to my caregiving responsibilities with my 101-year-old mother, I missed the deadline for reinstating. No notice was sent to me that my account was about to expire.

My first date went well, we exchanged numbers. Jaiye was very good in selecting someone who seemed compatible. From what I’m understanding, there are different packages as far as the cost goes. I did not realize that and should have asked more questions. But Jaiye is a great wingman for me! He listens and understands what I’m looking for in a mate. I’m confident this process with be the end of an unwanted career of dating!

I must say, my experience with It's Just Lunch (IJL) took a complete 180-degree turn, all thanks to the amazing Trisha R. Initially, I was quite disheartened with the service and had reached a point where I was ready to give up on the whole idea. But then, along came Trisha, and she completely changed my perspective on the company and the entire matchmaking process.
Trisha is an absolute gem! From the very first interaction, she made me feel like I was more than just a client; she treated me like a friend. Her warmth and genuine care were evident in every conversation we had. Trisha took the time to truly understand what I was looking for in a partner and didn't just focus on setting up "next dates." She understood that finding the right match is about much more than just going through the motions.

A 6 pm dinner is planned at a local venue used by IJL. Both parties arrive with no idea what might happen. There is no avenue to make the woman comfortable. The guy has no chance to let the woman know ahead of time that he has plans with some friends at 8:30 pm that night. (A little white lie that has a huge purpose.) This will make the lady feel more comfortable on the date and that the man has no intent of a hookup. If the date is going well and both parties agree, the man can say he just got a text that his plans with friends have been canceled. It gives both parties an out.
For some reason, it is highly likely that my date did not feel comfortable on our date. There is a good possibility that things would have been different if she had known I was not planning to spend the night with her.
I would love to hear your response on how you make the lady feel comfortable on these dates.

All of our Clients know our process, that we work with partner locations and that the dates feel safe and comfortable. We always recommend honesty and good communication on your dates and if you are interested in seeing your date again, let them know.

I love working with Tanya. We are on the same page. She gets me and has my back at each dating opportunity.
She is a great listener and knows what I want. Plus, she works hard to make sure she finds the best gentleman for me. I have not been in It's Just Lunch long, but have already had two other matchmakers. There's a saying about the third time is the charm — well, Tanya has been the charm for me. After a few cancellations, I finally had a good date in New York City at a fine restaurant. My date was chatty and we hit it off well (I think), we both had things in common and could connect on quite a few levels. She was on time as I was as well, and I think we both had a good early dinner. I think IJL made a good choice with this date!

I haven’t given as many dates as I was promised in my sales call and this is the primary reason why I have not rated this service as 5 stars.
