I have been dealing with painful periods since the very beginning and it has gotten so far that I had to take few prescription painkillers daily. I got Livia about a year ago and my life got much easier. I usually use it for the first three days of period and I only take one painkiller from time to time (not even every month). Livia is not a magical device that will make the pain disappear, but it makes it a lot more bearable and enables normal life (I would guess that depends on the intensity of one’s pain - in the case of mild pain Livia should shut it off completely). I am tremendously satisfied with this product, the battery usually lasts for around 6 - 8 hours, which is enough for one day, and the gel pads can be used for more than one period. All in all, I am really glad I got this and would definitely recommend it to anyone suffering from mild to intense period pain.

I've had very painful menstrual cramps and always had to take a lot of painkillers to help me cope with it. Since I started using Livia, I take around two painkillers per menstrual cycle, compared to 10+ that I used to take before.

As someone who gets seriously debilitating cramps, I found myself having to take a massive amount of painkillers to be able to go to work...And even then my work was compromised because my brain would be foggy from all the painkillers!
