PetGentle Reviews: Will It Train Your Dog?

It's a scam. Doesn't work at all. My dog thinks it's a toy. He loves the light, especially the laser. Doesn't affect him at all. Don't get me started on their so-called free items. They charge you more for shipping than the items are worth. Haven't gotten my money back either.

My experience with this product is simple. It DOES NOT WORK. All my 3-month-old pup wants to do is jump up and chew it if I use it.

I thought it wasn't working well until I realized that the 9v battery, which comes with the unit, was tightly wrapped in plastic and not plugged in! When I first opened the battery case, I saw that it had a battery and it looked like it was plugged in but my dog didn't react the way I thought she should. After careful inspection, I found the problem. Now my dog responds and I hope my ability to use this tool will bring me the results I want. So far, so good!

I was looking forward to this although reading mixed reviews, it cost me over £40 including shipping from the USA so I thought at that price it would be positive and work, but it does not, in fact. My dog barks more when I am doing it so I feel I have just wasted more money on gadgets.

PetGentle works as well as advertised. My Schnauzer barks crazily when she smells or sees some people and some dogs. It's hard to get her to stop. When I press the button on PetGentle she stops barking immediately and backs away. My dog quits barking, I don't have to yell, and everybody is happy. She barks much less now and when she does bark, all I have to do most of the time is to show her the device and she doesn't even think about barking!

I received PetGentle yesterday and already my dog Freddie is responding very well when I use it. Constant loud barking has always been a problem on car journeys making them torture. Now, however, with the aid of PetGentle they are enjoyable and, even more important, QUIET! I was somewhat dubious before I received your product, after reading the negative reviews, but now I'd like to redress the balance by stating how pleased I am that I purchased PetGentle.

I bought my PetGentle months ago and up to date, I've had no joy. My dog, who was 11 months when I got it, still barks when people ring the doorbell, or when he hears somebody in the hallway as they get out the lift. And when out walking with him, he goes mad at other dogs or people, but if I pick him up he stops, and in the case of a person/persons, it's the same, he barks but I pick him up and it's as if he's a different dog. So that's why we bought PetGentle, so if you could help in any way that would be much appreciated.

This item is a complete waste of money. DO NOT BUY. Apart from the fact that it does not work (encourages my dog to bark more). It is cheap plastic crap.

I thought that buying from USA, I would get quality. No way, it's a complete RIP-off. I paid £35, I now find they sell for £4 on Amazon.

Boy did they see me coming!

I love this product. I spent thousands of dollars to train my crazy cocker spaniel including paying a highly respected police dog trainer over $2,000. All I do is press the button and my dog stops barking and comes to me. It’s almost like he appreciates me helping him calm down and stop barking uncontrollably.

Buy this product. You will be glad you did. Finally, something that works. Thank you!

Poor. I was charged for expedited processing, which I did not request. They would not refund so I requested to return the item and the customer service rep began to argue with me about the expedited processing and me returning the item. I know I did not request this service. It arrived 10 days later after the purchase date and I was charged tax. The representative’s tone was very stern and rude and not the type you’d hope for with customer service. I had to tell them I was not going to argue to get them to stop. It’s unfortunate, the item may have been a positive experience, but I refuse to support a company that steals my money.

I bought one for my 2 heelers. It works for my male heeler but not my female. She just barks even more and shows her teeth at it. It only makes her mad. I've tried treats along with it plus other positive reinforcements. Nothing is working with her.
