PetGentle Reviews: Will It Train Your Dog?

Purchased this device recently for my dog and his barking when in the yard and walking. It does not stop his barking at all. Waste if money.

I tried a couple of cheaper versions, read the article below and reviews, paid £33 not realizing it was distributed from America, our Yorkshire Terrier heard something but certainly didn’t take any notice of it. Absolute rubbish. I was unable to leave a review as it just kept stating the line was busy.

I was sold on this product when a neighbor's dog suddenly stopped barking when I came outside with my dogs. She told me she bought this product. I ordered my own that day and within 5 days, the change in our dogs' behavior has been incredible. And I have only needed to use the sound button once or twice a day. The rest of the time, I just pick it up, and the barking stops.

I reward the no barking straight away and wow...miraculous. Even neighbours are noticing the change in our dogs.

They are even calmer and better behaved.

Highly recommend this product. Use as recommended (eg with rewarding the behavior you want as soon as it happens).

What a game-changer.

We found a little Chihuahua about a year ago. What a surprise we got when we took her for a walk. Such a loud barker from such a little body. So loud and obnoxious, and she has also taught our Japanese Chin how to bark. And that's a breed that is not supposed to bark. Go figure!

We are full-time campers and we are expected to keep our dogs under control and quiet. But she made it very hard to do. We also considered rehoming her. But we love her so much.

So we tried all kinds of things, but it wasn't until I ran across the PetGentle. It was her last hope. I ordered it on Saturday and on Tuesday it was delivered. By Wednesday we finally were able to take a quiet stroll around the park. We are still working on her with other dogs but I think this device is giving us a real good chance of calmness. It's working on both the dogs.

I two barkers and two more on the other side of my fence line, I've tried and tried using it when they're out there barking. Yea, it has a light and red pointer dot, I've tried from a distance, standing right there in the middle of them, they pay no mind to it. Yes, I feel as if I was taken for my money. Save your dollars.

I purchased this believing it would help but I am very disappointed. I have several show dogs and own a boarding kennel. It did not work on my dogs and not on any of the dogs being boarded in the kennel. They can get a bit rowdy but I took one dog out at a time and when they started barking I would point it toward them and give them a firm NO. Not so to scare them but to let them know I mean it. It did not work on any of them. I contacted them to send it back and get a refund and even though I paid $36.23 they are issuing a refund of $19.63. Live and learn - look at reviews before you buy. I do not see an order number but maybe package ID 3A9E84C6P9.

I just got this! I have 2 German Shepherds (and 6 cats). My GSDs backed down immediately when it was time to go outside. Usually, they bark and jostle around to even bumping me and they have knocked me over in the past! My cats did not show any adversity. I am intrigued! For day one, YES!

Ordered and item from PetGentle on the 5th of April 2020, was given a tracking number. Item never moved from California, the date now is the 14th of May 2020. Tried contacting their customer service who responds but never gives you a straight answer even if you repeatably ask the same question. For the UK an item is considered lost after 5 weeks and it should be refunded if the customer requests a refund. They refuse to make a refund.

My dog never barked until we moved 2 years ago. Since then she barks at everything...when my husband or I leave the house to go shopping, docs appts. etc., when we take the trash out, you name it. I bought this thinking it might help, but if anything, she barks more when she sees me with it in my hand. I'm afraid it's too long for me to return it (if I would even get a refund). I kept trying it, hoping it would work. What a waste of time and money!

The company is a sham! Paid money for a product that I never received. Wrote an email to state that I did not receive the product. Company is no help! Found tons of bad reviews for the company. I wished I had checked it out before sending this fraudulent company my money! Don't order anything from this company!

My beagle did not even react to the light or sound cues. This is an utter waste of money! Can’t believe so many people are being scammed on Amazon and Facebook. They offered to refund me $51.96 and keep the product. Why would I want to keep the product if it doesn’t work! I paid $86.58 and get $51.96 back? When other people on reviews returned the product to Idaho, there was no such address. This is a TOTAL SCAM. Buyer beware!
