Piping Rock is a fraud

This is the worst company I ever tried to make a deal with. They charged my credit card for the total amount in July 2018 and I have been looking forward to and waiting for the order to arrive, and after five emails (complaining about the delay) and receiving alway the self-generated answer:

"Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your purchase, we are glad that you have chosen our products to explore your daily dietary supplements.

I understand that you would like to know the status of Order ID: F77G11M8. I will look into this for you.

As per our records, your order has reached your country August 3, 2018, at 12:54 PM MEXICO AEREO, MX and it is currently awaiting customs clearance."

Finally, they send me an email telling me that the product is coming back to their warehouse and that I have to wait for another 6 or 8 weeks for them to reimburse me the 80% of my money (company policy).

It is a scam, don't fall for it.

Poor refund policy

Not fair and considerate to charge me shipping costs to return an item that was damaged and unable to be consumed by the customer. I purchased a bag of beetroot POWDER and when I received it, it was all lumpy and grainy. I tried to crush it down and it became hard pebble rocks. If I drink that, it could be dangerous and get caught in my throat. Customer service ended up telling me I could return it but will have to pay for shipping costs. I should not have to pay shipping for damaged goods that was sent to me. The shipping will cost almost the same as what I paid for the product, so this means I am not getting my money back. I paid for POWDERED BEETROOTS and not GRAINY, ROCKS beetroots.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Scam

Do not order from them. Big scam, never received my items. Big fault. Don't fall like I did. Don't order anything from them. Big liers. Thieves. Don't be stupid and order from them. You will never receive your order and you will lose your money.

So so disappointed...

So so disappointed...

I had a problem placing the order in the first place, there was some error on their website, after I contacted customer service they managed to help me out BUT the sale offer 2 for 1 was not applied so I ended up paying more than planned...

Furthermore, the order date was the 22nd of May 2019, today is the 24th of July 2019. I contacted customer service a few times and all they kept saying that "the maximum time for the order delivery is 8-10 weeks, please wait for few more days for the order delivery" and that "your order has reached your country customs and waiting for the order to be delivered". Well, it's been over 2 months and l contacted my country customs and they said that they do not hold the missing parcel. Obviously, the parcel got lost somewhere and PipingRock refuses to do a refund.

Lost £33 for nothing, super disappointed.

When I posted this story on their social media (FB and IG) they just deleted it and blocked me. Wow, such a "professionals."

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Terrible customer service

Terrible, lying customer service.

I was supposed to receive my order on a Saturday. It never came. When I called, I was told to call the Post Office and USPS, and basically to find my own package. Not my job. I was told to call on Monday, and they would reship. I called Monday and was told to wait two more days and to call back Wednesday. If the order hadn't arrived then they would reship. I called Wednesday, and am now being told my order will arrive on Thursday. Thursday came and my order has still not arrived. Even though I was promised it would be here for sure.

It's obvious that they have been lying all along. Just putting me off over and over. I'll call tomorrow and see what lying promise I'll get this time. Of course, the owner/CEO could care less if he loses a few customers, as long as his pockets continue to get padded by stealing money from us and refusing to send us the product we paid for up front, trusting he would keep his word in a fair exchange.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Awful customer service. Simply bad.

The one star was all about the service at Piping Rock.

I needed to initiate a return for the item, and started the process literally seconds after the order was inadvertently placed (no fault of Piping Rock there). But then, my interaction with customer service person, Kiara H., unraveled any hope for a positive review. One moment of dialog went like this (paraphrasing, but I will forward the actual email transcript upon request):

Kiara H. recommends I wait by my mailbox in order to refuse an item as it is delivered, even though UPS did not require a signature for this particular item. Some of us actually work for a living, and I certainly could stand by my mailbox in order for the UPS driver to leave it with me anyway, but instead, I finished my day at work.

For heaven's sake, watch out for some of their customer service folks who seem to be trained to read a script to the customer seeking a return. I wouldn't bother even trying to return the item if you receive customer service from Kiara H. at Piping Rock.

I'm sure I'll get another script from someone in the company who will inform me that they strive to make their customer service a good experience, or something like that, and how unfortunate this and that. I'm looking forward to posting their scripted response.

The product: Piping Rock Mini Tabs Advanced Glucosamine Chondroitin MSM Plus 2 Bottles x 300 Coated Tablets Easy To Swallow Dietary Supplement.

They rob your money and have scripted customer service!

Absolute joke, total rip off, and a huge scam!

I placed an order costing £52.26 (products totaled £45.15 and shipping was £7.00). I came home from work to find a note from Royal Mail saying that my parcel could not be delivered as I needed to pay an extra £17.65 in customs charges!

I am absolutely outraged.

Surely at some point between selecting to view the items in £GBP, entering my contact details, placing an order with a UK address and even from my computer's IP address they would see that I am based in the UK and adjust the shipping fees accordingly. They clearly raised the shipping to £7.00, so why not put the rest of it on there too and specifics to their UK customers that it would cost £24.65!

I have been speaking to a rather useless person in Customer Service who's response was clearly scripted. I asked to take the matter further and requested contact details of the management team, so I could write a formal complaint to which she replied, "I do not have a manager's direct email, we just take all complaints here and forward them ourselves" See transcript below.

(15:24:28) Visitor Okay, can you please pass me the contact details of your Line Manager then?

(15:24:59) Nicolette I do not have any direct contact details for management, again we take all complaints and information here and forward them for feedback

(15:25:48) Visitor Right so you don't have a manager? A team leader? Someone that pays your wage?!

(15:27:00) Nicolette I never said that we do not have a manager, we just do not have direct contact information. As I have stated previously, we forward all complaints from our customer service department as representatives that is what we are here for

(15:27:55) Visitor Okay. Im going to ask one more time, I'll try and make it easier for you... I would like to speak with your manager.

(15:28:35) Nicolette Unfortunately I do not have one to transfer you to

(15:29:04) Nicolette I am sorry I do not have one available at the moment

(15:29:18) Visitor Did you or did you not just say 'I never said we do not have a manager'

I have since received two emails with the transcript attached, both from different members of the "Customer Service team," (Kiara H and Ali A. - judging off other reviews it seems these are made up names too) yet from the same email address (customerservice@pipingrock.com), so who knows!

They have 39 likes on their Facebook page, and calls cannot go through to their customer service number, so it really is a huge scam. I doubt their products will be legit either!

Stay away from this site!

Don't bother

I have waited over two months for my order. I have sent various emails and received no response. Their "live" chat "person" must have died as there is no response from him/her either. Very poor all round. If this is how they treat their customers, makes one wonder what their product is really like? I went back to Healthspan; a little more expensive but quick delivery and trustworthy.

I hate writing this, so much as being negative, but this company has done nothing to address my queries. They still have my money.

I would never recommend this company.

Very bad deal

After reading all the health benefits of nuts, I ordered two pounds of walnuts last week from this company. The price was reasonable. When I opened the package it smells bad. Then I tasted it and it tasted equally bad also.

I emailed and called the company, and they asked me to return the nuts for a refund. It sounds like a good business policy, but shipping them back almost cost me almost the same as the nuts. So I threw them in the trash. I strongly think when a company sends something bad, they should replace it without any charges to the customer. If it is a while after delivery, then their policy is ok. This one, I called them immediately after opening the package.

By the way, I wrote a review on their product website, and it never showed up in their product reviews.

This is a scam for UK customers

I bought goods in the UK, however, the goods arrived from the US. I had to pay £17 for each parcel fees in addition to the purchase price and postages. The contact with the company was unsatisfactory and disappointing. Do not buy any goods from them, looks like a scam.

Candy advertised as healthy

Nasty stuff. We ordered a bag of "dried mangoes" and what we got was SUGARED mangoes artificially colored fluorescent orange despite being listed on the website as simply "dried mango." BS. Dried mango is mangoes dried out. Not mangoes soaked in E numbers, colorants, and sugar. The description for the product deliberately misleads; "candy from nature" can be misunderstood to be FRUIT from nature since fruit is sweet already, not fruit taken from nature, then treated with chemicals, artificial colorants and sugared until it has literally become man-made candy. That ain't "candy from nature." Zero stars.
