At first I was really excited about PrettyLitter. I loved the fact I could monitor the health of my cat closely. I am a nurse and this is right up my alley.

The one problem that made me cancel my subscription was the fact the litter did not clump and I could not scoop out the urine. This ruined my whole experience. Otherwise, I would have continued to order.

Side note, my cat did enjoy the cat food I ordered through this company.

Hi! I have 3 cats, all girls. I decided to try out Pretty Litter for my girls, they took to this litter right away! I love it...this litter dehydrates the contents very quickly. That’s a plus! I do, however, would love it if the urine can be clumped, then the litter will stay fresh, longer. The box is scooped at least 3-4 times daily when I am home. Twice daily when I am not home.

I read a review from a customer about dust. Yes, it does have dust spewing, which I believe is from the urine still in the mids of the litter.

I don’t change the litter as stated, because of cost. I feel dusting happens because of the breakdown of their urine. I may be wrong...but...I LOVE PRETTY LITTER!

I want to receive monthly instead of every 6 weeks. Silica Gel, 2 bags. I have had excellent service but couldn't find out how to talk with you to change my order.

I used PrettyLitter for about a 6-month period. It was convenient to only scoop poop but it wasn't a realistic product for a multi-cat household. To properly manage 2 cats you'd easily need to purchase 4 bags per month. It also tracked everywhere, worse than any other litter I've tried.

This is when I decided to cancel and go back to another litter I used. Or so I thought. One of their team members informed me that my subscription was cancelled when I contacted them to do so. Two months later I am charged and informed there is more PrettyLitter on the way.

Their customer service is absolutely awful. None of the support members are on the same page and you hear something different each time. After trying to contact them by email to refund the order with no response, I had to call multiple times to get through. The support member stated the previous person I spoke to "forgot" to cancel my membership. They let me know I would get my refund and to contact them for shipping labels when it arrives.

Fast forward to receiving the litter. I try contacting by live chat twice, by email twice, and by phone five times without getting a response from anyone! Finally, I get through and am told two shipping labels will be sent as soon as possible.

Fast forward again 5 days and nothing, with no way to get in touch at all. I send another email and get a response saying sorry, and that I'd need to get a box big enough for all of the litter because now they can only send me one shipping label!

Why should I have to be going out of my way to get a big enough box to ship this when it's PrettyLitter's fault it arrived in the first place and after telling me they'd send 2 shipping labels over?!

Easily the worst customer service I've ever experienced.

I ordered from PrettyLitter to try it. SUDDENLY they charged me again and again for more litter when I did NOT authorize the purchase or have any awareness that they would be doing this. They also don't seem to think they need to offer a refund for an unauthorized purchase.

The product is just fine, it's not SO amazing that I would want to be ordering it constantly.

Do not order from this company!

I tried PrettyLitter twice in my one-cat household. I regretted it after just a few days, when I noticed that all of us woke up to severe sinus problems without suffering any colds. Then I slid on the floor in the bathroom, which was converted with the tiny litter particles that eventually tracked through the entire house and beds when our cat jumped on them. The litter sticks to paws, floors, litter box, and mats, and is even hard to wash off. The claim that it doesn't dust is a joke if your floors, surfaces, and beds are covered with the litter dust after a few days, and even the air is filled with it. The fact that we inhaled it was very scary. I only used it a second time when I had run out of all litter and PrettyLitter was the only litter I had at home. Replaced it with regular cat litter the moment stores opened and I could purchase any. This product is unclean, unsafe, and very disappointing. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

This litter SUCKS in regard to deodorizing (which let's face it, that's the point of litter). I bought this for my cat because I loved the health monitoring aspect and am SO disappointed I spent the money on this because it is NOT cheap. I live in a 1500 sq ft condo wiht one three-month-old cat on expensive food that actually makes her poo not smell all that badly. I'm a "scoop every poop" kind of owner because let me tell you, I can smell her poop from one end of the house to the other. I've never had a litter be worse, I feel like using literal dirt would be more deodorizing than this litter. It does NOT clump so I've had to give her dozens of foot baths because she winds up walking in her urine. It also gets EVERYWHERE — definitely not a low-tracking litter. I found myself sweeping my whole house 3 or 4 times a day because of this.

I'm soo disappointed in this product. I was looking forward to using this for her lifetime. I went to Walmart and bought $17 litter — NO SMELL, zero litter all over my house, so I know it's not my kitten or me causing the issue. I feel like this litter would be good if your cat has had surgery or incessant health issues, but other than emergency situations, do not waste your money.

I have been using this litter for a little more than 7 months. I have 7 Persian cats and one domestic. Half the litter boxes are clumping litter and half are PrettyLitter. What I DO like about it is the lightweight, so my weekly litter trash is noticeably lighter, and for seniors, that is a big plus. But...that's really it. No one has had adverse reactions or illnesses related to it. I DON'T like that it is made in China even though it is a USA-based company.

The litter turns yellow faster than anticipated, and sure, you only scoop out the solids, but it smells terrible just with the urine. Therefore, it needs changing frequently and it is more expensive. The bags at the PrettyLitter site are 2 lbs smaller than at Chewy also. There is also a gritty layer of debris around the litter box, so it DOES track just as much as the clumping. It also gives off a cloud of silica dust when poured in the pan. Wear a mask, or pour low and slow. Keep cats away during this. Most of my Persian cats prefer the clumping and I am not going to NOT have it as an option just in case it causes some to decide against the litter box altogether.

I also bought 3 bags for my son for his 3 cats. He gave it away after a while since his cats refused to use it.

I would only recommend it if you find lifting bags or pails of clumping too difficult and you have 1 cat, but with the caveat that not every cat will even use this.

I have a Maine Coon that insisted on peeing on my bed. Aggravating! After using PrettyLitter, she no longer does it! I'm so thankful that I found PrettyLitter. She loves it so much that she no longer feels the need to urinate anywhere but in the litter box. She had issues when her front paws were declawed (not by me) that the litter hurt her paws. The fine, sand-like feel of PrettyLitter is wonderful. I know because she told me so!

PrettyLitter is a complete game changer for cat owners! With ordinary litter, I dreaded scooping the litter box, and I had to change out the litter often or the smell in my apartment was awful! With PrettyLitter, scooping is quick and easy, and there is no dust and NO SMELL. The monthly delivery and light weight make it convenient, and the health monitoring color system gives me peace of my mind that my kitties are healthy. 10/10 recommend!
