I can't believe the consistency and texture of this protein drink...you can't drink it, it's so slimy and like gelatine, it's more like a dessert meal than a protein drink.

I feel you should have explained the texture and consistency of this drink in your ads instead of leading everyone to believe it's a protein drink you can have on the run...

I think all the 5-star reviews are fake. There is NO WAY anyone can stand the slimy consistency of this shake.

I try to barely shake and sip quickly with a straw before it turns to slime. And I use water - at least 12 ounces. Coconut milk with all its thickeners makes it worse!

I cannot believe it was tested before it was released for sale. Expensive too. Live and learn - but in a bad way. I will not buy from Gundry again. I mean never. Please read reviews before you buy anything.

The prebiotic product doesn't mix with water either. It doesn't taste bad, but what were they thinking?! I just wanted a healthy gut.

I really was excited after viewing the video. I only have myself to blame for allowing my enthusiasm to get the better of me which sadly made me order multiple containers of ProPlant Complete Shake. I am upset with myself for not having been more careful.

The shake is so gelatinous that it almost makes you gag. I have tried adding more water and putting it in a blender, all to no avail. For me, it is undrinkable.

I am so upset and angry with this product and the company that produces it that I threw it all out. It’s not a question of a refund but having been deceived by a slick presentation and their undrinkable product.

I really like Dr. Gundry and his research and wanted to like this drink. It is a gelatinous, even stringy mess. I tried many ways of thinning it out to make it into a drink instead of literal gel. The taste was fine, but you won't be able to get it down. I was afraid to pour it down my sink for fear of it clogging it up.

This sounded like just what I needed to help lose the extra 20 lbs I've gained over the years. I was expecting something I could mix some fruit into and replace a meal every day or so, but I haven't been able to find a way to mix it where it is drinkable. I used my Magic Bullet with almond milk and it would hardly pour out so I changed to water in a shaker jar and it was still way too gelatinous. I could pour it into a glass but had a hard time with the consistency getting it down. The taste is not bad but it comes out like thick molasses. If you could just change the consistency it would be great, but as it is I can't drink it.

I loved Dr. Gundry's book and was anxious to try this shake. The taste is not bad, however, I could not get it down. Even tried to put in a bowl and eat it, but no go. Slimy like egg whites. YUCK...

I could not believe how bad this product turns out after you mix it. Thick, gooey, unpalatable. Why?

The company has to definitely reformulate this product. I am sure it is a healthy product but won't help if you cannot get it down. Food manufacturers do magical stuff with their products so cannot imagine how this passed the final taste test.

I really love Dr. Gundry's products but this shake is just too thick to get down. I've tried everything to thin it out but nothing works. In the video they claim to have sent the product back to the lab several times to get it just right, I can't imagine what the other attempts were like if this is what they settled on. Almost $300 worth of product that I can't benefit from. Very disappointed.

I loved Dr. Gundry's ideas and passion, but this shake needs a little more time in the lab. When I made the shake it looked so nasty I thought I made it wrong. I bought this two months ago, I wanted to start the shake after my surgery but I can’t drink this, I tried. Takes really good. Just needs to work on that slimy thing, make it into a real shake. I would love to buy this again when it right. For now, I would not recommend it to a friend.

I listened to the audio version of Dr. Gundry’s book (content was really great and interesting, audiobook reader was horrendous in case you were wondering). I decided to try his shake mix because it’s hard to find anything out there without any soy/corn/gluten etc. Just so you’re aware, the ordering process is a bit deceptive - when you go to complete your order, if you choose to "upgrade" your order, there is no "review before the total order is placed" page and the upgrade does not replace your existing order, it adds on.

As far as the actual shake goes, when you add liquid (water or coconut milk, I tried both) the mixture becomes one giant glob of thick sludge. It got so thick, when I tipped my shaker bottle up to drink it, nothing came out, lol! It’s almost like swallowing a loogie, it’s so bad. It’s like someone put too much gelatin in the batch and then there’s some kind of slimy texture in there too.

I have experimented to try to smooth it out and nothing works. You literally have to add liters of water to one scoop so that it’s so watered down, this is very impractical and doesn’t taste good at that point. So the "try adding more water" advice does not work. I also used a shaker bottle and that did not work. So disappointed I spent so much on this.

I was really hoping for this to work. I hoped to use it as a meal replacement for when I’m too busy to have lunch in the office or when I get home too late to eat dinner. I followed the instructions and blended the milk and shake powder in my NutriBullet. The first sip was good, in fact, I was surprised at how good it tasted. Within seconds, it thickened up so much and it was simply too repulsive to drink.
