I have contacted about 5 lenders, but I received the best response from Quicken. Some lenders will say we will give you the cheapest rate, but beware of who is servicing it (Redfin). Some people go absconding after collecting your documents (New American Funding), and some just do not care (BofA/Apple FCU). Quicken has a dedicated team at each step of the process and they even help you with boosting your credit score.

Rocket Mortgage is the fourth lender we've had experience with in refinancing our home mortgage, and we will never switch to another lender after experiencing just how simple, quick, and seamless the refinancing process has been. Everything is accessed, processed, and submitted online with the exception of actually closing on the loan. We closed within just under 40 days, which was prior to our original tentative date of 45 days, and our closing appointment was conducted at our kitchen table in 15 minutes flat. We spent a maximum of 2 hours total on the entire refinancing process.

My first live contact this last time was quite friendly and happened to be attending the same college I graduated from decades ago. He was quite competent.
