They taste OK and are great for you, but they are unbelievably chewy! The chocolate sea salt ones are really hard to get down, and you have to scoop the inside of your mouth/teeth constantly with your tongue to get them off your teeth. It's a real chore to eat one.

I am a very busy person. I don't like to cook, and I don't want to worry about where my next meal is coming from during the workday. For the last several years, I have carried protein bars with me as a means to get me through the day. My first protein bar was Quest Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, then I switched to Vanilla Crunch protein bars. The Quest gave me stomach issues, and the Crunch bars left crumbs everywhere.

I bought the RXBARs and chose the chocolate coconut flavor. I am in love with these bars. They taste like real food because they are real food. My parents were from Sweden, so I grew up eating a lot of dried fruit and nuts. I look forward to eating these.

Best tasting, fully satisfying snack bar I have ever tasted. I never could find a snack bar with just simple pure ingredients until now. I would and have recommended this to family and friends and they are also hooked like I am. Exactly like the commercials say, pure ingredients and no BS. Love it !

The first thing I noticed when I bit into it was that it was extremely chewy. To me, it tastes like any other protein bar with the chewy consistency amped up. In my opinion, it tastes like an unsweetened candy bar. I do appreciate the fact that they put in all the extra work to get natural ingredients. And I do you have to say that I have tried other protein bars that are awful but this is not that bar. My sons play football and I would consider getting them these as an alternative to some of the brands that local store. This bar would be totally perfect for the extremely health conscientious person.

The bar is small but efficient. It seems like a great way to get exactly what you need in a brief, concise two or three bites. Will be especially helpful for those on a diet who need a clean protein charge following a workout.

RXBAR was sent to me as a sample. The taste reminds of a brownie but it is hard. This did have nuts, the nuts were almonds. It was good while eating but I notice an after taste. This came with a nut butter topping when I ate the RXBAR with the topping applied the after taste was not as noticeable. It did have a good balance of salt.

While following the "Daniel Plan" diet, this isn't a perfect fit but is one of the best alternative snacks we have found. Flavors are very similar, but it isn't one that turns me away. Keeps me "fuller" longer and doesn't seem to allow the "crash" most processed snacks always do.

I would recommend for anyone trying to get closer to a whole food diet.

I got the chocolate peanut butter. I couldn't stand it and I'm a pretty good eater, but spouse said it wasn't bad. Too me it was dry, flavorless, and sort of cardboard texture. The Atkins bars might be better, I'll try them tonight, a little healthier too.

I have been eating RXBARS for years every morning at 6 o'clock. These RXBARS will hold me until lunchtime. 3 eggs, 6 cashews, 4 almonds, and 2 dates is perfect for breakfast. With a cup of coffee, I am content for 4 or 5 hours. I love the experience of the taste. The only problem is they are kind of sticky and I don't have any lips. I will bite my lips chewing on them because it's kind of like chewing gum in the beginning, but the satisfaction of what they can do makes me content.
