Smart Blood Sugar Review

By Steve G , Vermont

Bogus, bits and pieces from other programs. Definite scammer, no phone, no email, no contact info. Go buy Atkins meals or another with your $27.

Smart Blood Sugar book & bonuses

By James Crawford , USA

I'm concerned about this whole transaction. I never received an invoice and I swear that I was charged $9.95 for shipping. The product ($27.00 + shipping) is apparently offered with an electronic download PDF copy, too. Being that I paid an extra $10 for shipping, I hope that they do plan to deliver the hard copies displayed in their visual elements of their sales process.

Without an email RECEIPT from them, I feel shaky about the whole deal.

Can't comment yet on the *Bottom Line yet, but it doesn't jump out at you as being a good, valid business.

Smart blood suger

By Frank , Scranton, PA

I called the company to ask for a refund and they told me no problem asked me why. Then he sent me a return shipping label. I sent out the book in the same package that same day on July 27th 2015 and waited until August 20th, 2015 but still no refund. I called the bank and the told me they could not find anything, So I will be on the phone tomorrow morning. I will let you know what happens.

Very nervous

By Allison , Charleston, SC

Today I placed an order for the Blood Sugar Book and Meal Plan. I have had a lump in my throat ever since I clicked the button to pay. I wish that I had read all of the reviews prior to making the payment. So, tomorrow I will attempt to return the product because the information provided is no different than another book that I am reading (It cost nothing because I checked it out at the library). What is alarming is that I received no receipt for payment and no information on how to return the products. NO RECEIPT?! Are you kidding? I will return all of the items just because they sent NO RECEIPT. Such a shame.

Big sales scam

By Sarah Moglewer , Prescott, AZ

I tried doing as suggested in the book, and yes my blood sugar has dropped by 50 points which is good. But every day I got an e-mail with opportunities to spend more money on stuff I didn't want. The book is poorly written, and is not worth the paper it is written on. So although going on a lower carb diet has helped, the constant sales pitches is not what I signed up for. I am glad that I followed the suggestions and will continue to do so. Had I not been inundated with sales pitches for vitamins, I might have kept the book.

Not doing anything for me

By Lawrence Taylor, Tucson, AZ, Verified Reviewer

So, I have had everything for almost two months. So far, no change in blood sugar, not even a little change. I'm doing the diet and taking the capsules diligently. It might work for some, but not me.

I notice on their website that they have a fake BBB logo, meaning they don't belong to the BBB of Dallas like they advertise. It makes me feel like I bought some of Jack's magic beans. Now I'll try for a refund and let you know how that went. Wish me luck. I'm out $210.95 for their things, and I've been billed twice for "who knows what." I'll let you know that also. Good luck folks.

I purchased the book "SMART BLOOD SUGAR"

By Ralph Raymond, DVM , Lakeland, FL

This books reads rather well. I had reduced my blood sugar by going on the "Protein Power" course by the group out of Colorado. SBS seems to very similar and should work.

I am having two problems. Firstly, the phone number on the back of the book to reach "Dr." Marlene Merritt is not being answered. 877-755-4904. The other problem that I am having is trying to understand who "Dr." Meritt is. It appears that he's not an MD nor a PhD. All the Letters after her name mean nothing to me and I can't find them on a Google search. I emailed her asking what kind of Dr. she is. No answer but a couple advertisements.

This makes me wonder.

Balance your Sugar

By George , Daly City, CA

I read the words, balance your sugar and bought the book. I found it will be very beneficial to myself if I am able to follow the recommendation from the book. I think $27 is very reasonable price to pay. However, charging $9 for shipping costs is a bit unreasonable and I think they should lower the shipping costs. Since I have only purchased the eBooks for just a week, I have not experienced any benefit from it yet. Bottom line, if you really want to lower your blood sugar and commit to follow the book's recommendation, $36 is not expensive at all.

Old news covered by others at a premium price.

By John Casey, Turlock, CA, Verified Reviewer

If Dr. Marlene Merritt really wanted to help people instead of enriching herself, her 100-page book pamphlet, called Smart Blood Sugar, wouldn't have cost me $37. The information in the pamphlet is very good but very old. Dr. Bernstein's book about diabetes talks about carb reduction decades ago. Then the book on the Paleolithic Diet had some of the same info on carb reduction. Dr. Whitaker's book on diabetes came out long ago.

Dr. Merritt is getting rich off of rehashed information at the expense of diabetics like myself. I guess she wasn't making enough money just being a doctor.

Oklahoma

By Dinzle S., Shawnee, OK, Verified Reviewer

First of all, I just purchased so I don't know if the product works or not. You listen to a long presentation for the book and after your purchase, you are directed to their main point buying their supplements which I clicked off so I may not be able to get the bonus portion. Personally I feel a company should come out and tell you upfront that there are supplements involved and if you actually get results from the Smart Blood Sugar boot they are available to order. Thanks.

The truth

By Carol W., New Jersey, Verified Reviewer

I just ordered this book, the doctor seems qualified, and I read her reviews, which were good. The problem I have is the way you prolong the watching of the video and then afterward you’re still selling, I didn’t particularly care for that if your aim is to help people, why the sales talk? I was also disappointed that after I bought the book, it talks about how I could have bought the book cheaper on two other websites, also does this suggest the keto diet to help lower the blood sugar? Wasn’t prepared for that.
