Better off ordering from Amazon

By Maria Dumas, Virginia, Verified Reviewer

While the product itself is great, the customer service stinks, as does their cancellation policy, to which one does not exist.

I ordered this product on a Friday night to have something shipped via FedEx overnight, paid an additional $24.50, not knowing they are not open on weekends. The family member I ordered the product for expressed serious pain and the compression products would help her knees tremendously. I wanted her to not suffer as badly for any significant amount of time.

When I found out the product would not get to my house until Tuesday, I called customer service who told me they could not change the order to take the FedEx overnight option off, when the transaction had not even gone through yet!

By the time I would receive the package, it would be a moot point to use FedEx overnight because it would not get here until a Tuesday. Not helpful at all. So, I called back asking to cancel the order altogether. I was told by a second customer service person who answered that they would take note of my request and put it on her supervisor's desk but could not make any promises. What the heck?

I wasted $24.50 on shipping. Meanwhile, my family member was in pain waiting around for something to ship that didn't get there until they felt like processing the order. If I called to cancel the order while the order was still pending (as I was told the order hadn't even been processed yet when I called, and they still refused to help me cancel the order), they should have been willing to accommodate one way or another.

Boo, thumbs down, I will never directly order Tommie Copper products from Tommie Copper ever again, I will use Amazon. Tommie Copper customer service is a joke, and they should be ashamed of themselves. Kudos to the inventors and the manufacturer, but the customer service is AWFUL.

Instant relief for knee pain associated with arthritis.

By Randy H., Louisville, KY, Verified Reviewer

Arthritis is progressive, and in some cases, they are worse than others. I have "arthur" (as I call it) in my right knee. At 54 years old, about nine weeks ago I started walking four to five miles a day at 3.5 mph. It didn't take long for "arthur" to rear his ugly head like fluid on the knee, edema in the calf, cramping feeling in the arch of my foot 24/7, even though I hydrate myself very well. I grabbed one of these knee braces just to see how it would work. I can truthfully say, the relief was instantaneous. I went ahead and purchased the calf support as well. The only cure for "arthur" in the knee is a replacement, which I wish to put off as long as possible. The knee brace worked like magic for me.

Calf sleeve experience

By hh , Portland, OR

Due to some back issues leading to slight pelvic tilt (and being a little heavier than I'd like), I experience shin splints which tends to limit my running to a couple of time per week, and no more than 4 miles at a time. I want to do a triathlon and perhaps a 1/2 marathon, so I want to build mileage.

Though somewhat skeptical, I took a chance on the calf sleeve product. I've run 3 times in the last 6 days - 4 miles each run, and to my surprise have had a complete absence of pain. As long as I continue to get good results, I'll stick with the product.

It works for me

By James Greenwood Jr. , Cleveland

It worked for me immediately. I have had it for a couple of months and it is still working. Increased flexibility, and diminished pain. It did cause a rash after the second week of wear, but it went away and has not reoccurred.

Garbage trash, I am a redneck from TX and the company delivers from China

By Stephen Sawyer , Costa Mesa, CA

One delivery, the wrong products. Two waist bands when I ordered just one elbow and one wrist. Next, delivered from China. I am a Texan and you used a real Cowboy (and he can kiss my butt) but the delivery is from China. I am also a VET.

Feels great!

By Dana , Boise, Idaho

I had surgery on my ankle four months ago. Metal plates and screws were put in. Walking at this point, I feel things pop and feel very unstable.

I bought several ankle braces at drug stores. They were so uncomfortable, pokey, and I couldn't wear them very long. They actually caused more pain, than relief.

The Tommie Copper ankle sleeve is smooth, soft, just the right amount of tightness, and gives me the stability I need. I really love the way it feels! The only negative was like others said, the shipping took forever.

Not perfect; but no problem

By Tony Diaz , Miami Fl

Go see your Doctor have a blood test. Find out your condition before! Why you may have high cholesterol or something else. Good circulation, then 24 hr on, 24 hr off. You will get good results.

Not impressed

By Connie Walton ,

I think they're cheaply made. The rubber band cuts into legs yet there is little to no compression between the two bands. They do not stay in place and I have experienced no pain relief or decrease in edema. Now I'm feeling a little duped. Lesson learned.

Too hard to do business with

By Mary , Cypress, TX

I have ordered several different items from this company. I received a 15% discount code for a future order. I then received a 50% off email which I opened and shopped from, trying to use my code, which did not work. I started a live chat and was immediately given the phone number for ordering. When I talked with whomever, the price for the item was full price, not the 50% off. I explained that I had received an email, etc. and got no response. Told them I would just order from a competitor as they are of no help. Don't waste your time on their website, it's easier to order from competitors!
