After months of use three times per day or more, this expensive lip gloss/plumper was entirely ineffective as advertised for plumping and diminishing fine lines. No different than less expensive over the counter products in my case.

I purchased City Lips Clear plumper. I am 64, and I had noticed that my lips were getting thinner and I wanted to try and change that. After reading the ads and reviews, I purchased this item, and what a waste of money! The product does absolutely nothing. It looks very pretty and shiny on the lips but that's all; there is no plumping, the ads are very misleading. Very disappointed, and won't recommend anyone to buy and certainly won't buy again.

This product did nothing that it claims to do! Did not plump or anything! I was expecting the results that the company claimed to happen with usage. It also tends to collect in between your lip corners. Don’t waste your money! Truly!

I am 63 and have always had issues with chapped, peeling lips until about a month ago when I began using advanced formula City Lips. I use it three times a day; morning, after lunch, and before bedtime. The very first application was enough for me to realize it was a better consistency than any of the numerous products I had used over a lifetime.

I can honestly report that I have not had one instance of chapped lips since I started using the product, and I highly recommend City Lips for anyone who would like younger-looking, slightly plumper, smooth lips. It is the best product to totally heal chronic chapped lips I have ever used! You can get a better price per tube the more you buy at one time, and the company also sends occasional offers by email for better deals than the $35 per tube normal price.

I eagerly purchased four tubes of City Lips as my lips were dry and lined. I used the product night and day for over 30 days as suggested by the manufacturer. Unfortunately the product did not work for me, and in fact, my lips became more dry, more lined, red and rather sore.

Obviously, the product was not working as described, so I emailed the company requesting a refund under their 60-day return policy and explained why I was requesting the refund. I received no reply, so I emailed again a few days later with more detail included in the email. I still have not received a reply!

I am not happy with the product or the service received at all! I would really appreciate it if I could receive an email detailing how and where to return the product for my refund as it is still within the 60-day money-back period!

Save your money on this one; it is just an overpriced menthol type lip gloss that gets a "rise" out of irritating the skin cells on your lips. You stop using, and it goes away, rather like purposely causing a mini-rash on your mouth, daily.

Not much fun when you want to kiss your partner either.

I work part-time in a tanning salon and a customer came in and noticed we carried City Lips. Her doctor had prescribed it for her and she was curious if there was a price difference. She claimed she loved the product and would be back when she ran low to buy from us. She did state she only uses the clear. Once in the morning and before she goes to bed.

I am 51 and well, I have old lips, let's be honest. I started using this product 2 weeks ago and my lips look younger, smoother and I have had compliments about my lipstick. The same brand lipstick I have been wearing for YEARS! It is a subtle change, so if you are looking for a Botox look, you are not being realistic. For us older females who still want to look good, this product rocks! No side effects for me either!

After reading all the good reviews online about City Lips and other people's positive results, I was really excited to try it. So, I ordered it and have been using it for about a week now. Every day I've been applying it in the morning, at least 2 to 3 more times throughout the day and at night before bedtime.

So far I'm disappointed. I have yet to see even the slightest difference. It provides a nice shine as a lip gloss but the instant plumping and smoothing of fine lines has not happened. I will continue to use it for a few more weeks before contacting the company just to see if it ever starts working. In my opinion, though, I think City Lips should cease advertising that it instantly plumps because that is definitely not the case.

The clear lip gloss is a must. I bought one for my mom and myself, and it's not only a great natural lip plumper, but it also hydrates our lips. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is trying to get full-lushed lips.
