I recently sold my home in Philadelphia. When I was considering selling, I saw an ad on TV for HomeLight. I contacted them, and after a few questions, they provided a list of area realtors that I might consider. They provided background information about each realtor so that I might make an informed decision. The realtor that I chose through the website turned out to be excellent. He was very professional and moved quickly to put my house on the market. Through the comps that he showed me, I believe we came up with a fair market price. He sold the house at the full asking price within 24 hours. I would certainly recommend HomeLight to anyone that is looking for a realtor.

Having had no experience in selling a home, the task of finding a realtor was very daunting to me. I tried several other sites, and I was sent the same companies I see advertised all over the place. When looking at HomeLight, I thought ok, give it a try. I was not just given three names of people at different realities but information on each one's sales in my area and the surrounding areas; relevant sales information so I could choose the best fit for me. My choice turned out to a great one. The house was only on the market for about four days before three quality offers came in. I'm writing this review to thank the entire staff at HomeLight for providing me with the contact information and recommendation for Nancy Lee, the Shawn Maxey team, and Keller Williams Realty in Puyallup, Washington. In October of 2017, my mother had a stroke, which resulted in having to sell her residence of 46 years. The recommendation they provided resulted in a prompt sale, smooth transition, excellent service, and even a discounted brokerage fee!

They explained everything in detailed to, and what I didn't know are understand, they explained it to me in a way I could understand. I had the pleasure of working with two great realitors; they made me feel comfortable, relaxed, I really didn't have to worry about anything, they took on my worrying, they kept encouraging me and telling me not to worry, everything will work out, and it really did. Hello, I recently sold my home, and I used HomeLight. I was so happy at how easy the process was but I felt like I had to do the realtor investigation since they sent me a lot of what I would say unprofessional and unqualified individuals. In the end, the realtor that I chose was ok I guess. By that point, I just wanted to sell my home.

It took my realtor three months to close the deal. He told me one day ok, you have this weekend to move out, so I moved out most of my stuff except the essentials, and then oh no, we had a little issue. Little issue that took weeks. And when I spoke to HomeLight about this, they were so rude. I have been trying to speak with them since December of 2017, and they just give me the runaround. I just want to tell them now how horrible of an experience I had.

Oh, and if they promise you a $25 Amazon gift card, don’t hold your breath. I never got mine, even after they promised it to me several times.

My brother passed away and left me his home to sell. Good news right? Well, not really. I didn't know where to start. I lived in Georgia, and the house was in Colorado. HomeLight to the rescue. I was put in touch with the top performers in selling real estate in the area of my brothers home. I spoke on the phone with two of the referral companies, chose one, listed that week, and it was sold a week later.

Thank you HomeLight. Without you, I would have spent more and made less. And I am sure that just interviewing the agent picked at random would have cost me so much more time and money that I didn't have.

The agents that we talked to were all well qualified and very helpful in explaining the process of selling our home step by step and what to expect from them. They gave us what the potential cost of what it takes to sell a house by a real estate agent and all the different people involved in a sale. The agent we chose, Misty Wood and her assistant Greg Smith, were wonderful in their communication with us almost on a daily basis.
