After hearing countless commercials touting this amazing new toothbrush from Quip, I decided to give it a shot. $25 is sacred to me these days, but so are my teeth. I was excited to experience this revolutionary new oral care device.

After over one week, it finally arrived. Maybe I'm jaded, but I don't have to wait a week for anything these days.

I opened the package and read the 6-page instruction pamphlet (yes, 6 pages), because this wasn't supposed to be like any other toothbrush.

They were right. It wasn't. Every other $3-$8 vibrating toothbrush I've ever owned worked. Some worked so well that even years later, they still fire up and vibrate allowing me to clean other things well after its life for use in my mouth had expired. But, the Quip didn't vibrate. It didn't do anything save raise my blood pressure and make me feel like a fool.

I wrote to customer service expecting that for the $25 price tag on a toothbrush built more flimsy than a $4 Oral-B "electric" model they would immediately ship another, no questions asked.

They asked questions. Then, put me to work - demanding that I disassemble the unit to inspect the key components. They wanted pictures of the defective parts before processing a replacement. In one breath, they're calling me an engineer and enlisting my help in solving their production problem and in another they're calling me a liar in my claim and forcing me to prove the malfunction.

One month has passed and I still have not used my platinum-gilded mouth miracle. I have written two more times and still no response.

Do yourself a favor and take the $25 you think you'd like to spend on a Quip and buy either four Oral-B units...or two Oral-Bs and a ball peen hammer with which to repeatedly bash yourself in the skull. Either way, you'll quickly see the better value in those options versus throwing it away at a Quip.

I am very pleased with my Quip electric toothbrush. My teeth receive an excellent cleaning, and my last dental checkup was great. The starter set was very easy on my budget. My order arrived early and was in excellent condition. I am happy with the results.

I've been using a Quip for a few months now and the difference is very noticeable. I went to the dentist recently for the first time in over a decade and they had nothing but good things to say about the condition of my teeth. I know for a fact that before my Quip things were not looking that great, but in a few short months, I was getting complimented for my decade plus of untreated teeth.

It's not bulky like your standard electric brush, it's not overly aggressive like most electric brushes, and you really feel it doing the work as you brush. I couldn't recommend it higher.

I've always struggled with toothbrushes because they hurt my teeth and gums, or are too soft to be effective. Quip gets my teeth clean-clean without making my gums bleed. Toothbrushing is a pleasant experience for the first time in my life. I've already suggested one to three other people.

I first saw the Quip Toothbrush in an advertisement in a magazine. Thought hmmm, that might be a nice toothbrush to have. Then I had an opportunity to buy one and I did. I like the gentle vibration of the toothbrush and the 2-minute brush time. It cleans well and is sleek in design. The mountable case didn’t work for me, so I was a bit disappointed, but I will definitely keep this toothbrush.

Overall, I really like Quip. Two things do you to think about:

1. When brushing the back of my teeth, I find it hard to reach some areas. The brush is sooo straight, that it won’t go where I need it to. A little curve to the brush would really help.

2. The toothpaste doesn’t leave my mouth feeling fresh at all. I always feel like I need a mint right after brushing.

I've never thought of my mouth as being a 4 quadrant oral cavity. But with the 30-second pulse intervals, I now spend 30 seconds on the lower left, lower right, upper right, and upper left in that order twice every day.

My wife and I are buying our entire family - two daughters, one son-in-law, and four grandchildren, Quip Toothbrushes for Christmas. These gifts will express to them our love for them, our love of Quip Toothbrushes and our concern for classic quality.

We all know how important dental health is. I am one of many that had slacked off. Brushing just once a day and not flossing. I heard an ad on the radio for Quip one day and decided to check out what they were all about. I was definitely ready to get back on track. I ordered my first toothbrush from them a couple of months back and I love it. I loved all the color choices. I love how it times your brushing. I definitely was not brushing long enough. Now I am brushing and flossing every morning and night. My teeth and gums feel so clean and fresh. Best toothbrush ever! I would recommend Quip to everyone!

I’m one of those people who is usually running around in the morning trying to get ready and usually a little late. I always brush my teeth, but I’m not usually paying much attention as I do it! My Quip makes sure I actually brush ALL my teeth, and I never get to the car and think, I missed this side!

So far, I love my Quip. It fits my small hands and my small mouth perfectly. It's lighter and less bulky than my Sonicare. It's easier to take on trips. And it's, well, pretty. I chose the copper, and love the way it looks. Thank you!
