I thought the service was outstanding when I wore Plus sized clothes. However, after I had weight loss surgery, I found the size calculator was not responsive to my change in sizes. I’ve also noticed that there is not much offered in the size 10 to 12 range, which is my current size range. I’ve also noticed there is not a large variety of styles or fabrics. The patterns and colors have a great variety, but all the dresses are of similar style and fabric. Overall, I still recommend the service for my plus size friends and family, but the service is no longer meeting my personal needs.

I started with Gwynnie Bee when I was a size 14/16 and loved it! Especially the retro style dresses and wide selection of jeans. But I lost weight, and now I struggle to find anything in my size. The size suggestions just give me the smallest size, and that is often way too big. Also, the cool retro dresses have become so popular that you can't even closet them leaving me with boring choices. Gwynnie Bee needs to add more choices from brands like Hellbunny, Modcloth, Cherry Velvet, and EShakti not just one or two from each brand. At size 10/12 I'm too big for most of Le Tote's inventory but too small for Gwynnie Bee and it's very frustrating.

I have had this service for a while now and I think the business concept is fantastic. I have bought many pieces, and it's amazing to be able to wear it before you buy it. Now that I've had the service for a while I am beginning to feel like all the pieces are looking the same and I am finding less and fewer items I want to closet. They could definitely improve their styles. A lot of the items look similar and I have found myself thinking while scrolling through new arrivals, "Whoever their buyer loves a weird pirate sleeve! Ugh!"

Overall, this is a great service, but their styles could use improvement. I would recommend to a friend but warn them that the styles might get stale after a while.

I started the subscription at the urge of my husband, and initially, I was very hesitant. I think it was because it would be a waste of time. NOT! I LOVE going online, choosing clothes, getting them, trying them on at home, wearing or sending back, and waiting on the next box. I love the fact that it looks like I have a vast wardrobe because I send items back after wearing once. The ones I've purchased have always been at a major discount.

I understand that it's not for everybody, but I love it. In fact, I was wearing a different dress each Sunday, and as soon as I walked in, my admin assistant asked if it was new, then we would say together, "Gwynnie Bee baby, Gwynnie Bee."

I’ve been with Gwynnie Bee for about five years now and it’s totally helped transform me into a budget-friendly fashionista. But over the past year, I’ve seen a hefty decline in my overall experience and will probably be closing my account soon.

The style and quality of clothes have not been as appealing to me. At first, I thought it might be the season or the styles that were popular at the time, but after a year I am still feeling this way. I can barely keep 25 items in my closet that I’m interested in, let alone 30-35 as GB requests. I used to love so many of my dresses that I purchased way too many of them. Now I’m lucky if I even end up actually wearing one of the five that are sent to me.

The turnaround has also gotten noticeably slower. What used to be 4-5 days has turned into 5-7. I have similar subscription services who have been able to keep up with the faster turn around even as they have expanded as a company.

I just don’t feel like I’m getting my money’s worth.

I signed up for the free trial. It says on their website you will not be charged for thirty days. Not so free. I was charged immediately upon signing up for $74. It hit my bank immediately. When I complained, they said the money was being "held" until my trial was up and then if I decided to continue I'd be "charged." Umm, if I can't access the funds, as far as I'm concerned, you took my money. That's a week of groceries for me. Some people don't have three or four days to wait until "the bank refunds you upon cancellation." What a rip-off. They are liars.

I just want to say that being a customer with Gwynnie Bee has been a very rewarding experience for me. Being able to wear so many amazing clothes and dresses has impacted my life in such a positive way and has given me both style and confidence beyond measure. I love setting trends at work and in my personal life and Gwynnie Bee has given me the tools to do just that. The stress of what to wear every day has been removed, and I have been very proud to recommend others to your service. Gwynnie Bee has been a great addition to my life. I get so many compliments on the unique dresses, and how I always have something new and interesting to wear. I tell everyone about Gwynnie Bee and how much I love it! I don't have a need to go shopping to update my wardrobe knowing that something new is on its way to me. While there are some problems, specifically the excessive turn-around time between garments, even though I always alert Gwynnie Bee that I am mailing a garment back using the website. It can take a week or more to get another item. It has been a great, fun way to expand my wardrobe.

I mostly rent dresses and tops as a way to add variety to my work clothes. I wish it was a little less expensive, but it’s still worth the cost for me. Sometimes I do have an issue getting something that’s a little dressier than I want for work, or wishing I could get something dressier for a more formal occasion on a specific date.

I LOVE the concept of Gwynnie Bee. I own a marketing company and am the "face" of my company, so being stylish and bold is important to me. I love being able to wear clothes and send them back and keep my wardrobe ever changing. I have to say I'm glad that I'm locked in at the old pricing because as much as I love the service, I don't think I could justify the new pricing in my budget.

Shipping and return times have gotten pretty long too. In years past, I was getting a shipment or two per week. Now I'm lucky if I get one a week or every other week. That has been frustrating. Also, some of the inventory has been a little lacking. I find more weeks than not that I'm not as excited about the options as I was before. I'm glad you're embracing trends, but I'm sick of seeing cold shoulder everything!

I'm also glad you've embraced straight sized options, but it would be nice to see something in the sizing guidelines as to what's straight vs. plus. It's hard when some brands are sized as small, medium and large, to know if that small is a straight size small vs. a plus size small. I know it is determined by brand but it would be great if the distinction could be made more clear.

All in all, I'm happy with Gwynnie Bee and will continue the service. But I do hope for more exciting clothing options and shipping times.

I had it for a few months, and then the service randomly stopped without notice. It wasn't being billed so I didn't worry about it. Then the service randomly started up again several months later. They won't let you change the email on the site or quit from the website. It takes far too long for the next pieces to ship and arrive, this limits severely how many you can borrow during a month. This isn't worth the money.

I have fluctuations in my weight and size enough that I don’t want to spend money on a new wardrobe every six months. This lets me find comfortable, well-fitting clothes throughout. Speedy shipments are part of what keep me subscribing.

It's helpful that two people review the item when it's posted so you can see what it looks like on different people who aren't models and they give a review. The more honest those are, the better. I've noticed that those reviews have become more honest lately which is an improvement. Having subscribers review the items is an essential part of Gwynnie Bee as well. I think Gwynnie Bee has saved me hundreds of dollars over the past year!

I am a full-figured woman who prefers to wear nothing but dresses. Gwynnie Bee has been amazing for me. There is a ton of selection with lots of different styles, colors, and cuts. While I tend to stick to the fit and flare, I have been ale to branch out with Gwynnie to include maxis and v-necks. I have also been able to purchase quite a few pieces at extraordinary prices. I always receive compliments on my choices and could quite possibly be a spokesperson for the company. I tried Le Tote for a bit, but if you are bigger that a size 6, they are not really interested in you.

I hate shopping for clothes in a brick-and-mortar store. Gwynnie Bee is the most enjoyable way I have built my wardrobe in my entire life. The shipping to and from my home is free, and the turnaround time is very fast. The clothing selections are quite varied, and I have purchased more items than I ever thought I would. Sure, not everything I try works for me, but I never have to leave my home to make that discovery! And, the pre-labeled return bag is provided with every box.

Gwynnie Bee are plus size experts. That's why I joined. I was having trouble dressing my plus size body. Nothing seemed to look or fit right, and I often felt embarrassed about my appearance especially at work. All that changed once I joined Gwynnie Bee. They really are plus size experts, and the clothes are very well made and very high quality. I went from often feeling embarrassed about my clothing to complete confidence in my clothing. I have been using Gwynnie Bee for about three years now. I tried it out at first to amp up my workday attire. My job involved high-end social events so having a nice dress was key, but having a different nice dress to choose from each week was the icing on the cake. Compliments rolled in! The return and receive process is simple. I no longer have that job, so I’ve been venturing into more jeans and tops which has been so fun as it helps to learn which brands fit me best. Styles are not always perfect for me, but in that case, you just send items backs and wait for the new ones to arrive. If I could change one thing it would be a faster turn around time to get items.

I've been a Gwynnie Bee subscriber for several years. I love the breadth of choices (labels, styles) and the speed of shipping when I return an item. I also much prefer closeting items myself.
