Dr. Marty Nature’s Feast

I bought Dr. Marty for an elderly cat who has terrible digestive issues and hairballs. He won't eat it. He's a rigid old man, but my young one absolutely loves it. I try to get some warm water on it but he's after me to set it down as soon as possible. He's so healthy and his coat is just luxurious. Neither of them will touch Feline Prime. I wish my old boy would eat Nature's Feast; I know I would have more years with him.

I tried this, it didn't work for my cat but I had to pay $16.10 to return it and I was given a partial refund. My cat will only eat Meow Mix. I tried mixing it with the new food, adding water, etc., but he still wouldn't touch it. I returned an unopened bag and the other bag had 1 cup used.

We have always fed our kitties the healthiest brands from small business pet food and supply stores. The owners have generally been better informed about pet nutrition than big-box pet store employees. Even our veterinarian, whose expertise is medicine, not so much nutrition. When I discovered Dr. Marty’s we were happy to begin our 1-year-old kitties with this wonderful healthy diet!

I ordered this food to transition my cat from canned food. He likes it so much that I haven't any issues with the food transition. I also noticed the diarrhea and soft pop issues he had stopped after three days on this diet. I'm amazed that most of the improvements mentioned in the videos are happening to my cat!

My cat gobbled it down and didn’t wait for it to be hydrated. She loves it and runs to be fed. Her box smells better also. There was no rejection of the food, she loved it the first day.

Never again! They may have a good product, I don't know. Once I discovered the amount of a serving size, vs the size of the 8 bags I ordered, I determined there was no way I could afford to feed three cats PLUS my 2 bengal fosters (thru rescue) this food. I ordered 8 bags. At $257. That allotment would last me one week - one cup a day per cat. Each bag of 6 cups...$8,224 a year to feed my cats. I don't even spend that on my family of four. I emailed, I called. They won't cancel my order. It has to be shipped, then returned (at my expense!) to them. It's irrelevant that I TRIED to cancel this order before it was shipped. I know it wasn't shipped yet, as I just got the tracking number...24 hours AFTER they acknowledged I tried to cancel.

If they would have made some effort in customer service, I wouldn't be making a bad review...but alas, all I was offered was that they cannot cancel an order.
