Hydro Mousse Liquid Lawn

I should have written this long ago. Long story why I didn't, but here it is now:

I was redoing a fairly large section of my yard, ordered enough Hydro Mousse stuff to do the job, then sprayed it as instructed. Less than a week later, our area, southeast Michigan, experienced a 100-year rainstorm that, among many other things, caused a torrent to flow thru my yard, right where I had sprayed all those seeds. A day or so after the rain, I called the company, explained the situation and asked if I could get replacement seeds (and blue stuff) at the same price as I had gotten the original ones. Instead, they said they would replace the whole batch free of charge. And, a few days later the replacements arrived. Interestingly and much to my surprise, about a third of the original seeds had managed to hang on in spite of the flood, and were starting to grow as I went about re-applying the seeds. The new ones did fine and grew grass that was greener and thicker than the original lawn. I found this site while looking for the phone number of the Hydro Mousse company. I want to order more seeds in order to gradually replace my old tired grass in the original part of the lawn with the Hydro Mousse seeds I used earlier. I haven't found them yet and sure hope your reviews didn't drive them out of business.

Purchased this, followed direction to a T -- it is junk. Came out of spray bottle, hit the ground, absorbed and nothing! This is a total scam waste of money. I even bought 2 refill bags and the 1 bag did not even have the liquid mousse in it. I would highly suggest buying something else. Do not waste your money.

The product is false and does not do as advertised. The coverage is pathetic. I would never buy again or recommend this product.

Ordered the product, followed the instructions to the letter and nothing happened. In the commercial the product grew from a burlap bag over a piece of plywood. Get the merchandise home and you had to break up the soil with a rake which you were told to do in the instructions, said it would take 7-14 days. We watched for a whole month -- NOTHING! A waste of money and time.

Save your money from this and just go and buy premium grass seed.

I did as instructed. I put it on the front & back lawn. Nothing came up, most seeds were in bottom of container. A total waste of money.

I should have paid attention to the reviews I read before using this product, but I thought heck, it's only $20 and maybe they did something incorrectly, (the reviewers) but they were spot on, there wasn't enough product. Not a single patch of anything came up. I can grow about anything, but not this product. Do not waste your time, even less, your money.

What a rip off. I purchased 3 boxes and after spraying it on and following the instructions I never got one blade of grass. I called customer service to complain and they told me I would have to go back to the store with it. With what? I used it all. When I told them they should stand behind there product they hung up on me. What great customer service that is. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone unless you want to throw your money away.

I ordered their product since I have three dogs. Many pee spots. It says its perfect for this. Firstly, I can't measure. On the side is per feet. It says to add 3/4 of water which you can wing but why did it just not mark it on the container. Really? I'm not going to do math to spray some junk. Secondly, it actually did not spray. I filled it as directed and it did nothing when I attempted to spray. I had to just dump it out all over which caused the seeds to sink and it took more time to get them out and on the lawn somewhere.

Now my hands as well were dyed green. If you look on the commercial, it sprays perfectly. Watch how they use attachment and it's push button on the handle which I have too, but it's fake.

Also this rates an A plus with the BBB? Oh my. Will be asking for a refund.

First off, I never buy anything from TV. This is the first and last. as I was desperate and lazy, I purchased the product and waited. it is one bottle and sprays about 75 square feet. I sprayed it on an area with no grass, and weeds came up and some sort of weird mixture of grasses.

Three weeks later, and half of the grass is dead or dying. no idea why! this product does not work as advertised, especially when anyone can make any claim on TV and not be liable. it smells funky also and attracts flies. do not buy.

I JUST came in from using this product, which I purchased at Home Depot. Followed instructions to the letter. Emptied the liquid in to the container then emptied the bag of seeds. Attached the hose to feeder and filled it up to 3/4. HOWEVER, because of the label on the bottle I can't see in to, so I think I did it 3/4, or at least it felt like it. So the container which holds the additive and the seeds, you can't see how full it gets. The instructions never once say to let it sit for a minute in order to activate the additive and the seeds. As soon as I sprayed using the heavy setting, the water was coming out clear and remained clear all the way. It wasn't till I stopped and took off the hose and opened the bottle that I saw it was just clear water and all the seeds were gone. How is this going to work? I don't know time will tell. But I am not happy as this was nothing as shown in the video, which I watched afterwards and saw that the video had different instructions than the paper that came with it. We shall see in about a week how it goes. There is no green color on my lawn, ONLY on my hands because I turned the bottle over to empty it in to the feeder.
