Good

By Janet Duncan, Burlington Flats, NY, Verified Reviewer

I got a frying pan for my husband because he cooks everything on high and burns everything. Since he got this frying pan he still cooks on high and still burns everything but the pan wipes right out. The best pan we own. If I had the money I would buy the other pans, love it.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great product

I'm happy with mine. Omelet maker is great, very versatile. Non-stick is still nearly as new. Quality is better than expected for the price.

I give up on Gotham Steel

By Ben Heyward, Vero Beach, FL, Verified Reviewer

As a former meat chef, I know how to use any pan but I cannot figure out how to get food sticking to my Gotham Steel pans. It makes no difference what I cook in them. After using no metal utensils and cooking with and without non-stick sprays, I am forced to glaze the pans for about 10 minutes to get them clean. These pans are terrible and they are not good enough to donate.

Not

By Margaret Martin, Indiana, Verified Reviewer

Bought two, thought they would be perfect to cook eggs in. Have yet to cook an egg without leaving a mess. Wish I could send pictures. I have tried several times and each time nothing bit sticking. One star for clean up. Should have saved my money.

Works good for me!

By Belle, California, Verified Reviewer

I purchased the Gotham steel pan and I love it, so far nothing sticks to it. Yes, sometimes you can't just wipe it off but it's an easy clean with water and a soft sponge. I was ready to order the Double Grill but after so many negative reviews I am hesitating now!

Food sticks to pan

By Pam, Fredericksburg, Virginia, Verified Reviewer

During the first few uses, the pan was great as advertised. However, now everything I cook in it sticks including pancakes, hash, etc. The nonstick doesn't not last. Don't waste your money on this!

Nope - Pass on this one

By EvelynDanielle, North Okanagan, BC, Canada, Verified Reviewer

I bought this pan at Walmart and it's going right back. It was $19.99, and I didn't have to deal with ordering online or S&H, so I gave it a try.

I just simmered some onions and peppers on very low heat while making spaghetti sauce. I noticed some minor scorching on the pan, but it didn't burn my food. Then, when I went to wash it by hand, I noticed it didn't wipe off as easily as it did in the commercial.

I washed it in warm soapy water and let it dry. Then I went to clean my stove top. What the heck? I now have silver rings on my glass stove top that weren't there before - and I can't get them off!

I was careful to keep all the packaging and paperwork that came with the pan and noticed that there's an Arbitration Agreement included. I read it and it claims that by purchasing this pan you waive all rights to a jury trial or a class action lawsuit. Gee, I wonder why they felt that was necessary to include? Buyer beware!

Good and Bad

By Dan, Alberta, Canada, Verified Reviewer

I would not waste your time and money with this pan. First the good. The best non-stick surface I have ever had, however, the pan itself is so thin that after a few months, the bottom of the pad is no longer even and rocks like I have a stone under it.

That just too bad because the surface is good, it's just not worth the money you spend on it.

HORRIBLE

By Barbara Parravano, Toronto, ON, Verified Reviewer

Fried eggs in butter first, no problem. Pancakes next in a spray of oil, and they stuck so badly that I had to use a scrubby to remove them. The discolouration remained, however, in the center of the pan. I boiled water to try to remove the discolouration, but it remains. To make matters worse, the pan bottom is not flat resulting in uneven cooking and a pan that wobbles the entire time it's in use. I would definitely NOT recommend this product.

Terrible Product

Absolutely will scratch and stick. I used mine maybe 10 times total and had to throw it away. Choose another brand.

TV promotion false advertising for GOTHAM Steel cookware

By Ted Davis, Montezuma, GA, Verified Reviewer

Ordered Gotham Steel Cookware November 23, 2015. My order from a TV promotion was for a Gotham 9" frying pan and a you can receive a free omelet Maker, just pay for S/H for the OMLET.

So I made the order ONLY because I wanted the omelet, would not have ordered the pan if I knew this was a false claim on the omelet.

I have 5 different postcards they send me over the year asking me if I still wanted the omelet (always said YES) and was told it is back ordered and I called customer service checking on order several times at 888-326-0978.

I called on November 15, 2016, and was told it's been discontinued and that ALL they would say. FALSE ADVERTISING, do not buy GOTHAM STEEL COOKWARE. I told customer service today I was retired and was going to file a complaint.

Can anyone tell me what government department?

I need to make a False ADVERTISING claim to or to let the world know about this crappy company.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
