I have owned these pans for over 6 months now and I really wanted to love them. Unfortunately I DON'T. They worked great at first, now they are NOT non-stick.
While they "recommend" using nonmetal utensils, why show them using metal and even digging at them with a fork? The coating seems to "weaken" over time and scratches and is no longer non-stick. I can not recommend these pans!
Given that you have to pay for shipping both ways, they are NOT worth it! If they really believed in their pans, THEY would foot the cost for shipping, the reason they don't is because their pans don't work as advertised and they can't afford the to pay for shipping for all the pans I suspect they have had to replace and most people just aren't willing to pay the shipping fees and just give up.
I use these pans but have to use butter or coconut oil to make them "non-stick". Last night I was frying bacon and used tongs (yes metal), just to turn it, and tiny patches of the coating have come off, and the scratches are bad.
I was quite shocked these scratches appeared in on cooking session! That's why I say the coating seems to have weakened or gotten soft.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
