Beware of auto ship

By Jan, California, Verified Reviewer

I noticed the auto ship of subsequent product on the website before my original order. I called and asked if I could order without this and was told I could not. I asked if I could cancel before the first shipment and was told I could.

The packaging that came with the order showed how to customize your future orders. When I looked at it, it looked like I could get three products for $29.95. Looking closer (I don't trust anyone) I saw it was three payments of $29.95. When I called on the order line originally, I was helped very quickly. When I called to cancel future orders, I was transferred several times and left on hold for quite a long time, but eventually was able to cancel the order and, after asking, was given a cancellation number in case there is any confusion.

Buyer, be aware of the tricks of this supplier. I do like the makeup, but only at the introductory price.

Loved it!

By Kathy, North Carolina, Verified Reviewer

I am already a user of the It Cosmetic's "Your Skin But Better CC Cream" and absolutely love it. I decided to purchase the introductory package of the ByeBye Foundation. It was perfect. I use it on days when I just want a little foundation and not a full face of makeup.

I also loved my gifts that came with it. The blush palette I use on my eyes when I don't do a full shadow day, and the Bye Bye Pores are great for my nose and cheeks. Everything blends perfectly, and with both foundations, it feels as if you have nothing on your face. With all of my old foundations, I was always rubbing my face around 4 pm, ready to get the heavy feeling off, but not with It Cosmetics.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Godsend

By Elaine Brockhaus, Lansing, MI, Verified Reviewer

I dread Winter for many reasons, not the least of which is the fact that by the end of the day, no matter how good of a moisture product I use, my face feels like it is about to crack. Bye Bye Foundation has to put an end to that! The added moisture in this particular product (I have tried many) seems to permit my skin to hang on until evening.

The coverage is good, i.e. it is not heavy, but it does the job. A small dollop goes a long way. I always dab on extra around my eyes as I have dark shadows. Yes, it does slightly melt into my wrinkles, but less than any other foundation I have tried.

All in all, I feel this foundation is a big step in the right direction. It is ridiculously expensive for the amount you get, and thus I don't use it every day (re you listening IT?), but only on days when I must leave the house fully made up.

In conclusion, the product is great, but the price and program are bad. Since this is, mainly, a review of the actual product, I have to give it five stars.

Best makeup ever

By Monique, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Verified Reviewer

I'm 49 years old with a lot of hyperpigmentation because I have suntanned for over 30 years. These products are by far the best I have used. I use her whole line of products, and people are shocked when I tell them I'm turning 50!

Bought from Ulta

By Alise, Connecticut, Verified Reviewer

After seeing the infomercial, I was intrigued. I did some research and noticed that I could buy the foundation at Ulta. If you purchase the kit online, you are charged when you order, including two additional installments that add up over $150 over three months, until you are shipped a new kit (installment charges are then taken the same way as the original kit was.) I don't know about you, but I don't need that much makeup (in the kit) every three months, plus that is really expensive!

At Ulta, this can be purchased for $38. The product is in a plastic pouch that has a pump. The pump is easy to use, two pumps covered my entire face. The color "fair" matched me perfectly. It was not cakey and blended very well without looking like I was wearing makeup. It covered my dark circles, acne and red spots on my face ALL day. It is silky but not oily (I have combination skin.) My face felt hydrated all day. It did not break my face out, which is great since many products do after the first use because I have sensitive skin.

Do yourself a favor and try this product!

By Stephanie, Illinois, Verified Reviewer

I tried this product after watching the infomercial because it really appeared to have everything I was looking for. I cannot stress enough how pleased I was (and still am) with IT cosmetics!

I wash my face with my Clarisonic, use a light serum, and then apply my Bye Bye Foundation and my skin looks amazing! It takes so little to do the job too. I think perhaps the people who didn't like it applied too much or did not apply it properly. In the event that I do need a concealer, the IT concealer is truly amazing. It needs to be used VERY sparingly for best results, though. And it really does stay on all day. In fact, when I don't wash my face at night, the next morning, the previous day's makeup still looks good enough for a trip to the grocery store, etc.

The bottom line is, this stuff works! This is the first review I have ever written in my life, but after reading the negative reviews, I felt it was my responsibility to let everyone know that it really is a great product.

I think the problem with some of the negative reviewers was a bad experience with the auto-ship (which I canceled immediately after receiving my kit, just because I can buy it online at the same price and I don't like auto-ships) or perhaps a wrong color choice? I really can't imagine anyone NOT loving these products!

I will say this: the Bye Bye Foundation and concealer ROCKS. I do think the shades run a bit dark, so I recommend buying a shade lighter. The powder works very well as long as it is the right shade. I personally use the translucent no color Bye-Bye Pores powder purchased at Sephora. The blush/bronzer/color wheel was ok, as was the mascara, about like any other higher end product, but nothing as amazing as the Foundation. I did not care for the lip balm because I like more color.

So, ordering the kit is a great deal to try it, but I would cancel right away and buy the full-size products at Sephora, where you can test the shades, and buy only what you love.

Sometimes, especially in summer, I will mix a dab of the waterproof concealer with any moisturizer, and it gives me GREAT coverage when I don't want to wear a lot of makeup.

In conclusion, the foundation, concealer, and powder (in the proper shade) are LIFE CHANGING! I have used those three products since the day I got that first little trial kit, and that was three years ago. It's a great thing, girls, and actually a great deal, because you use such minimal amounts of the products, they last a long, long time.

Also, FYI, they sell it on QVC (full sizes, not the trial sizes) and often have specials, including easy pay, and they have a liberal return policy. I bought a "super size" of the concealer offered only on QVC over a year ago, and I have not even used half of it!

I hope this testimony helps someone out there looking for that one, lifetime foundation/concealer/powder, because I will never go another day without it!

Finally a product I love!

By Cheryl, Fitchburg, Massachusetts, Verified Reviewer

I have been purchasing this product on QVC. No, I'm not forced into auto-shipments, I actually use "easy-pay" and make two or three payments over the course of a few months.

I absolutely love the full coverage SPF 50 CC cream Illumination with the plush brush! I love the coverage and only use one pump on the back of my hand and the great brush that was sent to use to apply the product. The Bye Bye Pores Pressed Powder is ok, but my favorite product to use is the Je Ne Sais Quoi Luminizer. My skin has a glow, and I feel so pretty.

I also use the mascara and lip gloss. Love all of the products!

Love

By Kristyn Thompson, Lucasville, OH, Verified Reviewer

I love the Bye Bye Foundation and the CC creams. The prices are a bit high, so I tend to buy mine, when possible, from an overstock seller.

I still need to use a moisturizer before applying, and I have to mix two colors to get the right shade. I use "tan" Bye Bye Foundation and "medium" CC cream. It applies best for me when I apply it with a damp sponge. I use the medium CC cream as a concealer (I have melasma) then I apply the "tan" Bye Bye Foundation with a damp sponge too. It does leave a "dewy" finish so I use a large fluffy brush and put on my own mineral setting powder. That seems to make it matte without taking away the youthful glow or making me orange.

I would give it five stars, but it is very pricey, so I am giving them four.

Not as said

By Lydia Wilkerson, San Antonio, TX, Verified Reviewer

It is supposed to be makeup, but the powders for pores make my wrinkles look cakey. So I quit using the powders. The "makeup" doesn't stay and settles in creases.

I will give it another week and return the product. I am thinking, is this a scam? Buy other makeup that costs $10.00, it's more affordable.

It's so sad that infomercials presented a miracle that is false. The sales lady on the phone was pushy and would not listen to the customer. It is about the money, not beauty.

I will give it one more week, but the concealer brings out wrinkles under the eyes. Till next week!

Total fraud

By Cindy Barber, Watertown, NY, Verified Reviewer

I ordered this product while watching their Try It Now TV show. I was drawn in by how well the product was supposed to work, and the special price on the makeup kit if I called within the hour.

Once I ordered it, I was told I was locked in at the special price of $39.97 and would receive a new kit every three months for that price.

I was totally unsatisfied with the product and canceled my order, only to find out they are charging me a balance of $79.90. When I called to argue, they claim it's originally more than $100 and I was being billed in payment installments. So untrue, and a total scam!

I am in the process of shipping their kit back and hopefully, they will stick to their word and give me my money back. So disappointed! Time to get ahold of the Attorney General.
