9.5 S2 pan

By Joe Adams, Illinois, Verified Reviewer

I only used the pan a few times and the eggs began to stick. I have to wash with hot soapy water and rub to get to get them off. Does not work as advertised.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Customer service lies

By Nick, Boston, MA, Verified Reviewer

The day I ordered the pan, March 23rd, I asked how long before my mother would receive it and the rep told me to “allow up to 7 days.” I confirmed 7 days on whether before it’s sent or the package actually received? She said, “received”. I thought, “WOW, that's fast.”

Eight days later I'm sent an email which provided me with my order number and that my order had been sent to my mother’s address. This was on March 31, 2017. It read, “Your order has been shipped…”

I Understand this to mean what it says, that it was just sent shipped on the 31st. The next day I called UPS. They said they didn't have the package yet but it’s scheduled to be received in Florida on Thursday, April 6th. A few days later I called UPS they told me still the 6th but they still didn't have the package.

So on April 5th, I call UPS. UPS tells me they just received the package and it will NOT arrive in Florida until April 15th. I asked why was I told the 6th. They said because those were the instructions the shipper gave us, but due to the fact we just got the package today and they are shipping this package across the United States via ground, it WILL NOT get to Florida until the 15th. This was 9 days longer than I was originally told by UPS and 12 days longer than I was originally told by Copper Chef.

So today I called Copper Chef. I asked why did I receive an email from you people telling me on March 31st that the package had been shipped when it was just shipped today. They blamed UPS and the shipping label. I asked again, “Why would Copper Chef email a customer telling them their package has been shipped when it never was?”

Right there that is a lie, regardless of UPS, that statement it a complete lie. The service rep again said UPS screwed things up. I then asked for a manager but was told there isn't a one. I wanted Copper Chef to tell me why they would send me an email that had zero truth to it.

I told the rep how UPS just confirmed today that they just got the package. So I asked again, why the email 7 days ago, that read on March 31, “Pleased to inform you that the order has been shipped”

A complete lie. All I got were more lies. This rep actually started to tell me that the order was shipped, she was looking in the wrong area.

Needless to say, I'm done with Copper Chef. There's no honesty with what they say. They will tell you what they think you need to hear such as the day I made the purchase, the rep telling me my mother would have it in 7 days.

On March 31st, another lie within that email. Zero truth. My package had not been shipped, yet their email said it was. Don’t trust them, all liars!

Non-stick wears off, NOT covered by warranty

By Lee Etheridge, Manvel, Texas, Verified Reviewer

I purchased it on Evine at Christmas. It worked great first the 60 days, and then food started to stick. Now EVERYTHING sticks horribly. Even using cooking oil spray does just a so-so job of keeping food from sticking. In some cases, I have to let the pan soak overnight to get it clean.

Warranty only covers peeling and blistering, nothing about the nonstick part. It's a spray evidently, that wears off with normal washing. I called customer service, which sounded like an Indian call center, and was told to use a little oil when I cooked and clean with baking soda. That's their solution.

I loved this pan but now my ten-year-old scratched Caphalon pan is better at nonstick then my three-month-old Copper Chef pan.

Exceptional product

By Robert, Memphis, TN, Verified Reviewer

I have ordered every one of the Copper Chef pans available and have had nothing but excellent results when using them. I have never had a problem with sticking and burning, and cleaning them is much easier than traditional non-stick pans. I'm still practicing with the induction cooktop, but have had no problems.

I'm really not sure why so many people say they are having problems with this cookware. Maybe they should try cooking on a little lower heat. Anyway, I truly enjoy this cookware and have even ordered some for gifts. I hope they start making the covered sauce pans!

Awesome pan!

By Tommie, Hugo, OK, Verified Reviewer

I love using the Copper Chef Pan! I waited for the one with the two small handles. I could do the grilled cheese sandwiches with the cheese on the outside every day. Nothing sticks to the surface. It was an awesome purchase!

Love them!

By Georgia Turner, Florida, Verified Reviewer

Nothing sticks to these pans! Not even mac and cheese (homemade, not box crap). I've baked whole stuffed chicken, made frittatas, caramel, barbecue chops, candied carrots, brownies, pot pie, scrambled eggs, you name it. I have used them since last October, and they are still just as great as promised!

Worst non stick pan ever

By Moke, Auckland, New Zealand, Verified Reviewer

It was only nonstick for the first month, and then everything sticks after that. Eggs, bacon, cheese, you name it. I didn't use any metal utensils that might cause scratches to the surface. I always used sponges to clean it. I have tried both Tefal and Circulon pans in the past five years. They only started to wear off after 2-3 years of heavy using. Don't ever buy a pan cheap like this.

Chinese JUNK

By Mark F, Catawissa, PA, Verified Reviewer

This is a complete piece of junk. I am returning it after using it just once.

The square pan has a round stainless (or at lease they say so) core, and this causes a raised round section in the pan. You break two eggs in the pan and guess where they go? Yeah, right to the edges. Then they stick so bad they break when you try to flip them!

Cooking over easy eggs was my only reason for buying this pan, so I have no use for it. I wish I had seen the hundreds of negative reviews before I wasted my time and money!

What did I do wrong? All of a sudden it started sticking.

By Lyna Ballentine, Missouri, Verified Reviewer

When my cousin got the skillet for me for Christmas, I was so excited because I had been wanting the big square one. When I first used it, it was great. Eggs slid right off and everything they said seemed to be true.

Then I did a steak on top of the stove and then put it in the oven for a few minutes. After that everything sticks. Everything seemed to stick to the bottom of the pan. I hate scrubbing the bottoms of pans. So what happened?

I am disappointed.

A+

By Judy, Jacksonville, FL, Verified Reviewer

I purchased the smaller square pan and the larger set ($60) set. I love them and use them all the time. I've used the larger pan to make casseroles in the oven, too.

I used the oil method to treat my pans before using. If others didn't do this, it may be why their pans stick.

Very disappointed

By Cornelia Thomas, Tolleson, AZ, Verified Reviewer

I don't know if I got a defaulted set but the food sticks. They are easy to clean, but you do have to use oil. It scratches up easy and you can't cook everything the way the commercial shows. I was just very disappointed. Now I'm trying to return it and getting the run-around about how to get my money back.
