I have been a yo-yo dieter for half my life now, I’ve always been committed to a program, and then once I fall off the wagon, I fall hard and spiral out of control. When I heard about Noom, I was intrigued - a program that focuses on the physiological part of weight loss. I have become very good at following programs - following them carefully, but I could never stick with it. The fact that Noom was going to help me fix my way of thinking was exciting!
I have been on the program for over a month, and I truly love it. Every day I spend about 15 minutes working on learning about some physiological aspect of losing weight, and then I work on eating mindfully and getting my steps in. My way of shifting is changing, and I love it. Are there hard times - of course! But this certainly feels like a program that can be continued throughout life - without the need of the app. I also love that I get a personal coach that checks on my about once a week, and I get a group and another coach to bounce ideas off of on a daily basis. I’ve already lost 13 lbs. I can’t wait to lose more weight and gain a better understanding of my mind!
