I had seen many weight loss programs on Facebook recently. I was familiar with all of them except Noom.
I've done Weight Watchers three or four times in a fifteen-year span. Bought books on carb diets. Watched videos on exercising weight off. Checked out the Adkins Diet, the Keto Diet, and other flash-in-the-pan celebrity diets. Noom was the first one that talked about the psychology of weight loss. Once the ads started appearing on TV, I was more intrigued. I signed up for six months and felt this was the right fit for me from day one's communication.
I enjoy starting my morning with the tasks and pep talks. Even the pop quizzes. The personal coach and the group coach are great resources and sources of encouragement. Being a bit of an introvert, I like not having to "check in" at meetings or fitting in a time to drive somewhere to weigh in. Being able to read other people's triumphs, challenges, and goals is inspiring. You have insight into people like you, and can participate in chats whenever you feel like it.
Noom's food database is endless with the ability to add your own recipes or food brands.
I've been Nooming for five weeks and I honestly feel like it isn't a diet I'm committed to but a healthy life change. Very glad I took a chance and signed up. I believe it has and will change my life for the better.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
