The last time I successfully lost weight, I was a single gal, no kids, and could cook all sorts of crazy "diet food" for myself. That is NOT my reality today. I have two school-aged kids who like things like pizza and mac'n'cheese, and a hubby who does half the cooking (and likes to indulge our kids' tastes). I needed something simple, with simple ways of tracking food and calories, and no "forbidden" foods or overly restrictive diets. I'm hard pressed to say which I like better: the fact that the app makes it SO EASY to track what I'm eating, or the fact that NOTHING is off-limits, or the fact that this program has taught me to make healthier choices 24/7! My habits were pretty healthy before Noom, but this program has really helped me fine-tune my moment-to-moment decisions throughout the day - so that if I really want that glass of wine after the girls are in bed, I can choose accordingly during the rest of the day and build it into that day's choices!
