I dislike Cognitive Behavioral Therapy because of a bad previous experience with it. That said, Noom does seem to be very helpful and informative in its use of it. I like very much the encouragement from the weekly coach. I’m spending 3 weeks in Vietnam and eating every meal out with social pressures and my temporary goal is to not gain weight. I haven’t been able to weigh at all except today when a scale said I was 68 kg. No idea what that translates to. Having foods assigned green, yellow and red is a great idea especially being able to eat some red foods. However, sometimes the calorie counts are way off and something is listed as yellow when it should be green or green when it should be yellow or red. This is particularly true about Lean Cuisine meals. Also, there aren’t enough "back" buttons. For instance, you must put in a weight, and I just wanted to look at my previous weights and had no access to a scale. Hopefully, I’ll be able to get back on track once I’m back in the states. I haven’t used the group much, but it seems as though there are many people in it.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
