I love the concept of Noom! The calorie density is very easy to follow. The daily reads are funny, engaging, and thought-provoking. I really like the psychology as part of this journey - love the "why" not the "do as I say because" concept of other programs.
I find three things confusing:
First, many food are found in all three categories. I brought several examples up with my GC and nothing has been "fixed." I really like the green, yellow, and red but it can easily be manipulated depending on which entry I select.
Second, my GC or goal specialist. I’m not 100% sure what the purpose is. I’d prefer a regular cadence...like a weekly check-in, but that doesn’t happen. I find if she doesn’t check I when I expect her to, I get a bit frustrated and feel "ignored." For me, I’d rather not have this expectation at all than to be disappointed.
Finally, the group concept is great, but every time I’m prompted to share, others are sharing on a separate topic. It’s confusing to follow the feed and interact with others for support.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
