    Noom Diet

    Concept appreciated

    Overall Experience:

    After using the same weight loss program 3 times in 20 years, I decided to give Noom a try to see if I there was some psychological reason why I would lose 50-60 pounds but end up gaining it back. I really enjoyed the daily articles and quizzes the first week or two. I lost a few pounds and decided not to cancel but pay for the 8-month membership. While I appreciate the psychology angle/concept, I have grown weary of the 5-6 multi-screen/page articles each day. While trying to get to the psyche of why I do what I do, I’m basically just counting calories and keeping a food diary each day. Eating fruits and veggies and lean proteins for weight loss is the base for most programs, so not new. I will continue with the program since I have paid for it, and will work to identify/modify habits and apply tips and tricks, but if I had to decide right now to renew, I do not think I would.

    Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
